Jesse Jackson: Let’s start the draft to send the rich to war

This is really all about race cloaked in class warfare, pun intended. Jesse Jackson is talking about ‘our children’ joining the military to avoid unemployment, which means he’s not talking about white children. I mean, he never speaks out or comes to the aid of a white person ‘in distress’. So I don’t think that it’s a stretch to assume that’s what he means. And we know that many in the black community believe that only white people are associated with institutional power, so that when Jackson advocates sending the rich to war, that’s when he’s talking about white children. It’s all code for racism, pure and simple. But yeah, who knew, right?

Honestly, I find this so offensive I don’t know where to begin. It’s idiotic to assume that there are no ‘rich kids’ who go to war, that they all have jobs so why would they need to join the military. And while I’m sure that there are some who join because they don’t have a job, I would never demean their service to make this about whites vs blacks, rich vs poor. After all, any who joins, no matter what the reason, they all know on some level the risks involved and they are a better man than I for having honored this country by putting their life on the line.

Jesse Jackson is nothing but a race monger who exploits his own people for his own power.
