Jim Bunning: 20 Senate Republicans aren’t conservative enough

Bunning is a straight shooter when Hannity asks him [6:40] how many Republicans in the Senate are serious about doing the tough work and balancing the budget. He says we will need to win 30 more conservative seats to have a conservative majority in the Senate. At current that would mean 71 Republicans would be needed just to have a 51 seat majority. WOW.

Here's my problem with Bunting… he's a hypocrite. Now that he's retiring, he's all about paying for things. But, he voted for unfunded programs twice in 2003 and again in 2008. I don't mind his position, but he's a little late. To be honest, I'm sick of all of them. They all tell us one thing, and do another.

  2. It's better late than never. And you have to admit one thing. He's right.

  3. Tyler says:

I WISH he was WRONG…but…he ISN'T. I suppose it's better to come out and tell us the truth now than to keep us in the dark movin on.

In the not too distant future some federal, state and local officials are going to dismally surprised when even their check from the Treasury wn't clear a bank…serves them right. It's time to stop this nonsense and also stop whining about whose fault it is…the only fault I see is that we as a country love to go boating, as long as someone elses boat and fuel are used.
