The irony is that it was the democrats before, during, and after the Civil War that were the ones interested in maintaining slavery. The Ku Klux Klan killed thousands of blacks and whites to prevent them from voting republican. Just sayin'....
Uh. Wow. I'm from the south and I can tell you this guy does NOT speak for all of us. I know you've heard this already, but when people can't win on policy, we're already well aware that they're just going to stoop to this kind of disgusting accusation.
Racism, and flippant accusations of it, is despicable. This man needs a new job.
Does one have to live in a delusional world to be a democrat? The sad thing is that this man is a US Senator. He isn't fit to be a street sweeper.
What does it say that the already existing tea parties weren't good enough that the blacks had to create their own?
I've seen several people of color at various Tea Party events and at The Restoring Honor Rally on 8/28 in D.C.
I'm quite disappointed that now there's ALSO a BLACK Tea Party vs just the Tea Party.
But, it appears, that's just me.
What a misstatement of what happened in November. America, if it had a problem with a black president, wouldn't have elected him in the first place. America's problem is with his failed policies. The Civil War had nothing to with it.
