John Bolton gave the best speech today in my opinion thus far. It was all foreign policy starting with Egypt and ending with China. There are so many memorable lines that I can’t write them all, but a couple that stick out in my mind are:

Worrying about a REAL democracy in Israel is more important than a hypothetical democracy in Egypt!

We do not accept an America president that is weak, indecisive and apologetic about our country!

Enjoy!

If John Bolton is frozen out of the next Republican Administration, then it will be proof that administration has been "captured" by the idiot branch of the GOP...the branch that preferred Bush 41 and Gerald Ford to Reagan, nominated John McCain, loved Arlen Spector, and hates Sarah Palin.

This is the best copy of John Bolton's speech before CPAC, and is clear, concise, and VERY Knowledgeable about the world around us. He knows things, and is right on about them. http://www.blip.tv/file/4761512

Hello....it's time to wake up to the fact that since all of the weak candiates you mentioned are the King Pins of the Tea Party whom the Republicans live in fear of bucking up against...... Presidnt Obama will win the next election!!!!

When you have leadership in the White House that is either naive or incompetent, then the transformation of the Middle East has no chance of ending well. Obama has shown to the world that he is a laughingstock that cannot be trusted. We are vulnerable as never before. The possibility of losing the leadership of the free world has become reality as Obama has apologized for American exceptionalism. The world has come to the realization that our country cannot be trusted in difficult times. He has forsaken our allies and emboldened our enemies. These are grave times for our country.

JackSprat said it perfectly. This is indeed the man to be the next President. Absolutely not doubt about it. Col. Allen West for Vice President would be my choice. This would make the most intelligent and knowledgeable ticket that I can ever remember in my years. It would be a dream come true to see these two fine men elected. Perhaps I would sleep easily knowing they were in charge.

Bolton / West 2012 is a dream ticket alright!

It would also set the stage for "West in the West Wing" in 2020 ... or 2016 if John got everthing straightened out and wanted to retire.

This is the man who should be the next President. Serious times require a serious man.

Good point but I have never been on this site nor do I pay attention to screen names as too many are fake.

Reagan's amnesty was a drop in the proverbial bucket and was supposed to be backed up with real immigration reform and caps which Congress decided not to follow up on. Nowadays. amnesty only means "come on in and don't forget to wipe you feet. Can I get you anything to eat?"

How about Chris Christie?

I pretty much agree with Bolton that this president has been indecisive and weak in foreign affairs. But does anyone really believe that McCain would have done any better?

What, exactly, is unpresidential about Bolton? This guy is scary. Imagine the kind of administration he'd put together. I'd like to see it.

I had to read you again to see what you were really saying, and it appears that you support him. Just listening to the mans speaking shows his heart, and how he thinks. He is brilliant, and very astute.

As much as I think we have to have a man like Bolton around a sitting Prez or the SOS, or around a National Security advisor...John speaks the truth. Which ultimately disqualifies him as he cannot utter an untruth and simply won't learn to be PC!

I have a lot of confidence in this man, and in what he says. His bring back the Kirpatrick speech of 1971 added to my admiration of him as it was Jeannes Speech that made me realize I was on the wrong side of the fence and wasn't a "Democrat," so I resigned when Walter Mondale ran for President. I don't regret that at all.

You can see why Democrats wanted Bolton out at the UN... Can't have a competent diplomat fighting for American's behalf when there's just so, so much to redistribute and give away in the name of liberalism.

I love how the one negative you can think of is that Bolton has facial hair. It truly shows the depth of your analysis and I think we shold all take your comments with the seriousness it deserves. I just hope that one day, in my lifetime, at some point, if only for a couple of minutes, before I die, that I can meet a liberal who can actually argue the issues instead of reverting to personal attacks. Of course, I also hope to win the lottery....

little obozo does have my vote for nomination. the state of the union speeches will be amazing to watch while he runs on his wheel for an hour. He'll solve foreign policy by running up the legs of foreign ambassadors.

Yep, Little Obozo President of the United States 2012.

Okay, I'm not serious about this response at all, but I do find the idea of a hamster president funny. That might give you an inclination of how serious I take TPN's original post. There is no perfect candidate for President, so you live with what you're options are (I don't know, isn't that kind of the conservative thing to do to live with what you got and do what you can with it?).

I'm sure Reagan even had his critics on the right (He did lose the 1976 nomination afterall). If you really don't like the choices, do a write-in for the deceased Ronald Reagan. You'd probably scare the pants off our enemies that we were willing to elect a dead man to become President. ZOMBIE REAGAN RUNS AGAIN!

What day of the "week" is this president?

Monday, definitely Monday. It's the worst day of the week. Garfield has told me so.

There are very few conservatives that could fit the bill and become the next President of the United States. I can quote a few like Allen West, Sarah Palin, Mitt Romney, Mike Huckabee, John Bolton, Chris Christie, etc.. etc. But the real question is: how can we know that the person running on the conservative ticket is the right president for this country? The credentials go far beyond competence and knowledge of foreign policy.

We need a person that has the character of a Reagan, who himself knew too how to discern the times, in light of the Bible. Reagan had no problems discussing Russia with his cabinet members by referring to Bible verses. May I add that he was God's choice for President of the USA way before Carter came to power. Against all odds, he became President at the ripe age of 70. It took us a Carter and his devastating policies to pray and have the right person ushered. History is repeating itself again. We might be a different generation but we need a rightful and godly person that will overcome our opponent's thuggish campaign trickery and divisive rhetoric! The best way this can achieve is when we get on our knees, recognize that by own power we mess things up and ask the Mighty One to intervene and heal our land.

May God bless America and appoint a Godly person to lead us during the difficult times ahead!

Ticked Off Too
Ticked Off Too

Why should God answer our prayers anymore?

He provided His man for us to lead us through the most devastating attack in our history with courage, determination and dependence on God Almighty.

And how did the American people reward this man of God? By demeaning, attacking, lying about him and trivializing him continuously, even now after he has been out of office more than two years.

I thank God that we had President George W. Bush at the helm on 9-11-01. I cannot think of anyone that could have done what he did with the strength and purpose he showed through the worst of times. God bless him.

Uh, The Huckster isn't a conservative.

And as much as I enjoy Christie, he isn't much of one either, though he woudl make a fine president.

The only adult in the room is Bolton and it is a damn shame he will not win. America needs a leader like him.
