Right to be stupid huh? You mean like mispronouncing the word Genghis Khan or Kazakhstan? Way to set the example Hanoi John.
With John Kerry himself being the best proof of just that. The Germans are having a blast with this guy "who, by the way, served in Vietnam".
He speaks from experience. However, this is not the way to represent our country especially to those who are already predisposed to be anti-American. Confirming Kerry for this position was an exhibit of our representatives in the Senate exercising their "right to be stupid".
And those who voted for you all those years are perfect examples of what you are talking about John.
And those who voted for you all those years are perfect examples of what you are talking about John.
Oh and how right he is and proof is in the last two presidential elections. Want to see something that will make your blood boil over?
Came across this stupid idea..I mean, it's just sinful..It involves a stupid tree in my stupid back yard. Actually, any stupid back yard will do, John. But, since I stumble and lack cognitive skills I am currently stupid and will remain perpetually stupid, but just smart enough to admit I am stupid. And your stupid reference of my stupidity is no allusion. But, I do know one stupid thing, I would never say anything so stupid as to elude that I am not stupid. Welcome to Germany, Mr. Kerry.
Speaking of rights and Vets, there's a whole lot of Vets here that need to read this.
We are the people the Obama 'machine' is going to come after first. We have weapons experience that the 'machine' doesn't want to have to confront. It's one thing to learn how to fire a weapon at a firing range. It's a completely different thing to learn how to fire a weapon at somebody who is firing a weapon at you.
...And Kerry is living proof of that stupidity!
First the Apology Tour
Now the Stupidity Tour
What next?
The Embarrassment Tour? No wait, they'd have to have morals and values to really feel embarrassed. They can get their Hollyweird friends to go on a tour and fake it. That's about their level.
Well he, of all people, should KNOW this....given his IMMENSE stupidity and look-- we awarded it with a position of Secretary of State.
Here's a hint Horsehead (no offense to horses), the German people had no freedom of speech during their dictator's reign and if they dared to speak off Hitler's talking points, they never spoke again.
Hey Kerry, you have a right as a Democrat to be a gigolo, you have a right to not pay taxes on your yacht, you have a right to be stupid, you have a right to be a deceiver and void of moral character, you have a right to help Obama destroy America.
We have a right to loathe you.
Again, VERY deceptive headline. I don't find any problems with this comment whatsoever. He is absolutely correct, and he wasn't even tagging that comment to the 1st Amendment in a way that denigrated it. Right after that, he said he thought it was a virtue worth fighting for. I don't like this man either, but can we ourselves dare to be a little more intellectually honest and less sensationalistic?
And you would be absolutely correct in what you have just said.
I'm a Viet Nam Vet and I hate 'Hanoi John's' guts but the headline on this topic is no less 'taken out of context' than what the left at MSNBC does to conservatives every day.
Hey 'Hanoi John', you are correct. We do have some interesting rights in this country. Apparently in your case, they also include being a phony, two faced, opportunistic, lying traitor.
I respect your service and your views, but I do not believe that we are justified in sensationalizing just because the other side does it. If we continue to use that logic, we lose the moral high ground, and that is the only reason I believe what I believe: because I believe conservative views are morally superior. I refuse to defend them in a morally inferior way.
"but the headline on this topic is no less 'taken out of context' than what the left at MSNBC does to conservatives every day."
I was making the point you are making right now. I should have put the 'BUT... ' in capitals, it would have been more apparent.
However..., I'm not above 'playing dirty', so I guess you are 'morally superior' to me. This is a war, something I am familiar with. Not of blood but of ideals and if you go to war to 'play fair', (President Johnson called them 'rules of engagement'), you loose.
Now, there are consequences to playing the 'game' (war) my way. It's difficult to return to a civilized society. Socialism is not a 'civilized' society. So I'll take my chances, right now. ;-)
The difference between a liberal and a conservative is to be able to recognize a civilized society when you see one.

Just think, if Kerry had been a German soldier and said what he did about those of us who served in the German Army in WW2, Hitler would have fixed him up with a 'dirt nap' in short order. ;-) ;-)
My grandpappy use to say when a mule is making a donkey out of himself, let him alone, cause hes gonna pass gas and he going for the after burner, in other words, "stupid is as stupid does", Mr Kerry is the right man, in the right place, at the right time. We should wonder what history will be made compared to this parties past history. wow! what a future, what future lies ahead of us all will be bitter but interesting.
We are here, we won't sleep, we are the Tea Party.
May God Bless America
He speaks from experience. If he thinks Americans are so stupid, why does he stay here? In fact, why do all of these commie pinkos stay? They know where the border is, just get the heck out. No one is stopping them.
Um, no, that's NOT "freedom of speech" Kerry.
Sexual deviancy (deviant homosexual parades) is not protected by law. If that were the case, then pedophiles could march with their "child lovers" and there would be no consequence. Why would you outlaw it? It's "freedom of speech".
The purpose of law is to protect citizens from the destructive nature of immoral people. If a society is to function and prosper in the long-term, immoral behavior has to be curtailed.
"Liberty" unrestrained by morality is anarchy.
"Because we have no government, armed with power, capable of contending with human passions, unbridled by morality and religion. Avarice, ambition, revenge and licentiousness would break the strongest cords of our Constitution, as a whale goes through a net. Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other." -- John Adams
This azz has fought the right to be stupid all his life and now he is teaching the rest of the world how to be stupid.
OUR GOVERNMENT IS CRUMBLING RIGHT BEFORE OUR EYES.
Thanks John, nice to hear you admit what you really think of America. The last memorable time that you did this you were sitting in front of congress telling us how bad our soldiers are and hangin' with the enemy. Welcome back you weird looking traitor.
The irony is that Kerry is mostly talking about his own voter base. The kicker is that he has no clue.
"Americans “have the right to be stupid”"
Yes evidenced by the fact you were ever elected to anything more than the Dog Catcher! It is fact that about 52% of Americans are dumb stupid morons.
I work in an international company, and talk with Germans, Kiwis, Danes, Brits, Aussies, S. Americans, Asians, and Canadians all the time.
...This is a essentially how they view American 'liberties' and 'rights'. This man should never have been confirmed for this job. When explaining the constitution, he says; they have a right to be stupid, instead of: our system has provided the most stability and the most prosperity the world has ever seen...
I am ashamed of him.
Seems all libs feel Americans are stupid. Kerry, Obama, Duncan, Jarrett, and the whole bunch are America-hating peas in a pod.
They are absolutely correct every time they turn away from the mirror and open their mouths their brain falls out.
BREAKING: Senate votes to move ahead on Chuck Hagel's nomination as defense secretary, clearing the way for his confirmation (via @AP)
You just made Pancake3's point.
How fricking stupid are these people?
More Muslim infiltration imo.
What a complete idiot. Moron. What a loser... a phony.
Go around the world and let them know how bad America is - and that we can "fight" for it. What a philospher! What a brilliant mind! What a comedian!
Our next President will have to go around the world and do another apology tour for the ignorance and incompetence that this moron and his boss have been spreading.
Complete insanity to give this idiot a mic.
What was funny was the intro. "Here's the guy you've been asking for!" Then there about 25 or so young people, who looked like they could care less, politely applauding. They looked like they just had been waiting forever to hear Ketchupman speak! This guy probably doesn't understand opening a ketchup bottle let alone the First Amendment. You're right, Kerry and a mic are two things that should never be mixed.
Funny point! They just went there for the free box lunch.
They must of thought he was a stand up comedian or something...
