I dont think it is okay to be racist because a white person killed your father. Sorry. plenty of white people could justify hating blacks for the same reason. Would that be okay? And the fact is, if a white republican had made a similar statement, the rest of the tape would have been burned before his comments could be put in context.

I hate to point this out because I think this is one of the few times just reading a headline benefits the conservative cause. But I'm going to because I admire Andrew Breitbart and he deserves to be defended in every forum possible.
Jon Stewart basically condemns Breitbart with faint praise. He calls Andrew an honest crook. Gee, thanks a lot, Jon.
Andrew Breitbart did nothing wrong and he does not deserve the treatment he's been getting. He is honest and it's not his problem that there are not enough intelligent people to understand plain English.
Finally, some sanity from the Left on the subject. Jon Stewart actually does a pretty fair job of laying out what really matters regarding the Sherrod story. Was it perfect? No. But it wasn’t that bad either. I would love to see him take it a step further and go after the dishonest members of the MSM who continue to say that Fox News is the real culprit in Sherrod’s firing. But that’s probably asking too much. I guess we should be happy that for once that Fox News wasn’t the center of his criticism.
