Judge Napolitano at the American Revival

For those of you who didn’t get to see the American Revival today, I’m posting Judge Napolitano’s excellent segment. I’ve never heard the Judge any better than this:

thanks for posting- I forgot about it and only watched it from right before Beck's speech- during which I might add- he cried more than I have ever seen him cry before- It was still good.

  • EricLukeRowdy

This speech should be played in every American classroom.

What a country this would be if everyone understood and believed the Judge.

  • http://www.okiepatriot.blogspot.com/ Greywolfe

98% of the things I've heard the judge say, I've wanted to cheer at. The 2% that brought up my hackles have been learning experiences for me. He is a true patriot and very likely one of only three “lawyers” I'd not shoot if Shakespears words were ever put into action.

He has been blessed with wisdom when education seems to be all that is truly required by our nation. Given the choice between education and wisdom, I'll take wisdom. Thankfully, he has both.

A true patriot and a good American. He has the ability to keep things in perspective. I lose that sometimes.

Can you post the first few segments too – I missed those – the two Daves. Thanks, Donna Nobel

This is the man that we need to recruit to be our President, I say recruit because I don't believe he would want the job (which is the 2nd reason we need him- 1st being his understanding of and commitment to our Constitution). I know the anti-freedom big government crowd, the repub and dem parties would scream bloody murder over it, which would please me greatly! Think about who are being positioned to run; Romney(rino), Gingrich(unelectable), Palin(ditto), Christie(would make an excellent VP and learn volumes under the judge), and Jindal (ditto).

  • Hardsell

Well, I promised I wouldn't post anymore unsolicited comments, but I'm going to ask you to forgive me for deliberately breaking my word this one time.

I routinely excoriate political figures of every persuasion. Some people wonder if there is anyone at all in the political arena that I have respect for. My answer is “yes.” I do respect Judge Andrew Napolitano and Congressman Ron Paul. They are both men of conviction who have an unwavering loyalty to the Constitution, even when it goes against popular sentiment.

    Thanks RS for posting this.

Yet another great speech from the judge. The charge he gives at the end is absolutely amazing and oh so true. Thanks RS for posting.

excellent post rs! this is the argument we must make to progressives and focus on our selves. dial back a bit on hammering the point about taxes, stimulus spending, health care/coverage, et al… from the dollars and cents perspective. at the core of all these issues really is the right to liberty. as the judge says, the guy/gal in power next you may not like.

make that point successfully and all other arguments for redistribution of wealth, and so on, becomes wholly futile.

  • http://twitter.com/artfromtex Arthur Autrey

This guy would make a great VP candidate. I'd like to, personally, see him run for Prez, but I know in this American Idol culture, he couldn't be the “face” of a campaign. But, as a VP, and a guy to get ideas to the public from; he's a Godsend.

  • Tyler

Ron Paul would be a good choice. They did a straw poll on his show either last week or the week before and the “ideal ticket” was Paul/Napolitano.

  • Tyler

Good man, Bill. You're seeing the bigger picture. It's not just about having your beliefs and standing strong spreading the word. It's properly laying it out which matters as well for different people learn in different ways. If someone can't understand it from a historical point of view…use the “How would you like it,” approach.

Thanks Tyler, I missed that one, but I could certainly go for that!

There's still something missing from the message. Most people with exposure to a Christian background can do with minimal exposure to it, but it still needs to be “in there.” More and more of us today have less and less exposure to the fundamental Christian understandings and as that teaching wanes that one thing that is missing needs to be addressed even more.
What is it- We know the democartic process –institutions and their functions– come to us through and under the Constitution. And, as christianesk people, we know and have heard and kind of understand that rights come to us from God- that they are inalienable because they come from a higher powr than Man. But how do they get to us? It is the process of sovereignty, and that one thing missing is .. our republic. The institutional process comes to us from Man, and the natural law process –where our rights come from– is thru the republic. This must be a part of the delivered message. We can go back and forth for decades with a little bit of liberalism here and a little bit of conservatism there, but we will never gain properly metered liberty if we do not restore the understandings of our republic in the heart and minds of this nation's individuals.
“A republic, if you can keep it.”

The Best line “When the Mustang Ranch was taken over by the feds for failure to pay their taxes, they ran it into the ground. The Federal government cannot provide booze and hookers to truckers in the desert and they want to run health care.” (right around minute 26:00)

Hanging by a thread will there be any Americans to stand up and defend the rights of all Americans this time? Will there be that 3- 5 % that put their own security and health on the line.
The gang of rogues that run the govt have taken it all away, there is nothing you have that they do not want and they will get it all .

  • TonyBLIAR

I love you Judge, but you ask which do we fear the most – a ragtag bunch of fanatics who hijack a plane and fly it into a building, or a bunch of fanatics who hijack our rights, and fly it into our homes, our medical records, etc? Don't you understand yet that they are the SAME… OF COURSE 9/11 was an INSIDE JOB – done by those tyrants who wanted their Patriot Act – and their Control to wage Wars Without End…they are the SAME PEOPLE – it wasn't Arab terrorists – it was the INSIDE TYRANTS who have HIJACKED our government and serve the GLOBAL ELITE – The ULTRA RICH and the European Bloodline Royalty.

  • Bhaktidev

Judge Andrew Napolitano is one of America's most precious treasures; we would do well to heed his wise words.

  • westenra

thanks for the glenn beck intro otherwise i would have wasted 30 minutes of my life and not 3 seconds ::closes window::

  • Blk1500Ram

Judge Napolitano and Ron Paul would clean up this den of inequity that they call Washington in a heart beat.
We need strong constitutional people in government right now, not 2 years down the road but right now. Remember this in the upcoming Novemeber elections and replace these obscure deadbeats that we have now.

Of all the places to find such a patriot. This man knows of what he speaks.

  • mscir

He did a great job oversimplifying the issues. Ron Paul is a much better politician. I definitely wouldn't vote for anyone who thinks Brigham Young was a prophet.

For the most part I agree with this. Of course he's right about people having the right to earn money, even accumulating wealth and government not taxing us to death, but where do the Monopoly Corporations and Wall Street fit into this?? After all, Wall Street “privatized its wealth, and socialized its costs” in other words, Socialism for the Rich and Capitalism for the Poor!! We saw this with the Taxpayer's Bailout of Wall Street, in effect, paying for Casino Gambling and Ponzi Schemes on Wall Street!! Talk about stratospheric subsidies, which I might add, apply equally to many Monopoly Corporations 25% of whose profits are in Offshore Banks!! If we're going to have economic justice in this country, we need an economy that is decentralized and localized, where small and medium sized businesses and banks are COMMUNITY OWNED AND RUN!! If you all want to read more, get Dean Baker's book, “The Conservative Nanny State: How the Wealthy Use Government to Get Rich and Stay Rich.” Or, better yet, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND EVERYONE read David C. Korten's Second Edition of “Agenda For a New Economy: A Declaration of Independence from Wall Street.” Let's remember there are Real Conservatives and Corporate Conservatives and Real Liberals and Corporate Liberals! Big Difference!! Or check out Woody Tasch's “Slow Money Alliance” on the web!! Napolitano has many good things to say and I agree with much of what he said!! But what about Wall Street and Corporate Monopolies, what about the disastrous NAFTA AND GATT treaties, what about America intentionally shipping manufacturing jobs overseas?? All with Government help and approval I might add!! Let's keep the dialogue going, let's get rid of all the members of Congress and the Senate, elect new representatives of the people!!! Power to the People!!!

I know you love your country
but how about a little quiz
why spend a trillion dollars per year on defense
when we won't admit who the real enemy is?

While we've got troops in 140 foreign countries
    with 800 bases overseas
    under UN and CIA supervision
so they can use them however they please.

at home, we have a tyrannical federal govt
    that's completely off the rail
they've taken over healthcare, banks, and car companies
but they can't deliver the mail

while they're at it they'll save the planet too
cause it's getting warm, says Al Gore
and if their cap and trade tax can't steal enough money
they intend to borrow some more.

we've thousands of unconstitutional offices, bureaus and agencies,
    and an inept congressional mob
they want to control every aspect of your life
cause taking care of the people's their job

because of the FED the economy is near dead
and the dollar is in the tank
and when your grandchildren are born on welfare
you'll have both political parties to thank

the moneychangers loan the treasury fiat money
and put the interest payment on your children's backs
their plan is to enslave the people
with their new and endless tax.

the president has turned into an emperor
just a part of what's wrong with our land
a federal govt. out of control is more dangerous
    rhan alcaida or the taliban

now it's the tail that wags the dog
and cares not for the constitution
we send em for bacon, they steal the whole hog
we've got grounds for a new revolution

they sign legislation they don't even read
try to disguise it as government, it's nothin but greed
then congress reports all is well, do not panic
just go back to rearranging deck chairs on the titanic.

    our own border is porous
    for those who abhore us
while around the globe we aspire
    to make others free,
    while American's can't see
we've become the new Roman empire

states had better step up to the plate
and grow a set of balls
and put the brakes on this insanity
    before the republic falls

and now they'd like to take my citizenship
we'll it's not theirs to take
but if they want to give it a try
    that's a fight i'll gladly make

better yet, since we have the finest military on the planet
and our freedom is under attack
bring the troops home and drive the real terrorists from Washington
and we'll take OUR country back.

  • Freedomyetagain

I wonder how many pot smoking cases he dismissed as unconstitutional. I bet none. Talk about freedom to post this comment I had to register, be told what my nane could not be, use a box that after telling how to pick my name, ande took up so much space that I almost couldn't submit ( what a great choice if words ) because the botton was almost entrely pushed off the screen and there was no way to scroll.

  • Chris J

This is the very reason I was so proud to have served as a protector / body guard to Judge Napolitano while he served on the bench in Bergen County, NJ in the county seat in Hackensack! You could learn from each and every case he tried.

  • Englishvinal

Ron Paul has been caught on camera too many times making the occult sign of the Devil.. (the horns) and also photographed using the traditional Masonic hand shake…..
He may be a “nice man”… and he “seems” to be on the side of right… but he has been in the congress for over 20 years….. don't try to tell me he doesn't KNOW what is going on… if he didn't go along with the program he would have been forced out or assasinated…
He wasn't… and that pretty much tells the story.
…… We don't need another career politician~!! And that includes Peyton Place Palin.

  • Juneelean

    Blame Bush Sr.

  • Dsdfsdf

Thats right, we fought a Revolution over less grievances than what is happening to us now. I think he should have mentioned that the Constitution with the Bill of RIghts are ideas. People make then real. Obviously the status quo has changed after 220 years and we have to rekindle those ideas. Thats what he's doing. Go judge.

  • MAN

Bruce Hedruck below, came close. Napolitano is not saying anything that hasn't already been said many times over. My position is, the natural God given Rights I had before the constitution, God made sure I would continue to have since it was brought forth. The constitution was only to bind the men in office to supporting the God given Rights I had since Adam, and never to interfere with them. Give me 30 minutes time in taking this premise, that God and his laws and the Rights He gave me come first and the Rights I had before the constiution, and Napalitano's talk means nothing since it has been said a thousands of times over, and of little to no avail. Open your eyes, realize that Napalitano knows it!!! And he knows you don't!! if intrested … docsuport@msn.com

  • Spartans

Ron Paul/Judge Napolitano 2012!!!!! An unbeatable team.

None of the politicians running now have that fire in their belly, and the common sense that will make people stop and listen. WOW, someone who actually knows
the law and is willing to implement it.

  • AllanRasco

Wow Bruce, you hit the nail squarely on the head with the point you made. I agree wholeheartedly that John Hancock's words about what type of govenment our founding Fathers created, “A Republic, . . . if we can keep it.” needs to be taught and explained. Otherwise people, like a lawyer/political science friend of mine, will continue to believe that America is Representative Democracy, not a Representative Republic.

Thanks for your comment. Good to read the thoughts of a kindred spirit. Unless things change some people may act on the advice given per Shakespear.

  • Nkj767

I will not believe it unless I personally see it. Where is your proof? And, what is the traditional Masonic hand shake? Are you trying to say that he is a Mason?

  • H091645

We need more people like the Judge. When he speaks, you listen he explains in a very understandable way without getting it all complicated. Thank God for him and Glenn and all the good people who are getting our message across. Thank you for everything that you do every single moment of every day. Pauline Cygan

Sorry Nkj767, Englishvinal is correct. I’ve seen Dr. Paul salute Lucifer more then one occasion and as for the Masonic hand shake please watch. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-kq1NuV_T2Q
