Kirsten Powers calls out Bush official on Egypt

After listening to this I must say that Kirsten Powers makes a much better point than the Bush administration official about how we should move forward with the uncertainty in Egypt right now. She basically argues the same point that Levin argues, that we really don’t know what’s going to happen and supporting the people might not be in our best interest in the end. The Bush administration official seems oblivious to the Muslim Brotherhood’s potential influence and says that Obama should go ahead and support 80 million people because Mubarak’s days are numbered.

Last night while watching Geraldo there was another Bush administration official on there and he played down the Muslim Brotherhood saying this was purely about Democracy and we should stand with the people. What is it with these Bush Administration officials?

Either way, I think Powers is right in this moment that we should stay cautious about what we say or do and give this a bit more time to see what happens:
