It looks like the situations we're finding ourselves in are starting to sink in. Even Krauthhammer who was firmly seated on the fence has decided to come down on the right side. No pun intended.

Last night I received a fund-raising letter from Mike Huckabee to sign the DEFUND THE UNITED NATIONS Petition. I threw it in the trash, thinking it was a fruitless endeavor. After listening to these disgusting, condescending pigs, I retrieved the form from the trash and will donate what I can to the cause for cutting off all US taxpayer monies and moving this worthless corrupt group of autocrats, theocrats, dictators, and crooks out of the United States.
Don't waste your money. What needs to happen is we get a presidential candidate that makes it a part of his platform.
None of the Krautenhammer videos appear on my computer, but I probably wouldn't watch the liberal Alinsky petty name-calling anyway.
They can't defend the UN, with its defense of Islam despite its human rights atrocities, so they have to resort to infantile behaviors, such as attacking their opponents' character.

Sorry, Krauthammer fouled himself when he denounced Bachmann for opposing the debt ceiling hike. He consistently pushes the GOPe agenda, so I'm not going to give him kudos for stating the obvious.
He rarely brings anything to the conversation that millions of us don't already understand, but among so many big government pundits he often "sounds" revolutionary. He is part of the establishment, so I am with you on that.
Kruathammer was spot on with his point about the Human Rights council. Who's on that? China, Iran, Russia...I'm sure there are some other stellar countries on it as well. A lot of good they have done.
They had no choice but to name call and insult Mr. Krauthammer... he was unleashing reality and facts on them... it was their only possible defense.

Dr. Krauthammer is spot on as well as many posters here on this thread are. We give the U.N. every ounce of credibility.
IF this organization were in say Iran, it would have been destroyed years ago and no one would have believed one word or action they had spoken or taken.
IF the UN really believed in human rights and decency, they would never have admitted countries bent on ruling their people with an iron fist (mostly women) like Iran. Remember, Iran was given the task to head up the UN counsel on women’s rights.
IF the UN was really concerned with democracy and freedom they would spend less time attacking the U.S. about guns, freedom of speech, religious tolerance, or monitoring our elections when they should be doing all of these things in countries like Iran, Afghanistan, Pakistan, China, Egypt, Venezuela, and too many other Dictator controlled countries to list.
The UN resides in our country, is funded by our wealth, and uses our tolerance to attack the very ideas they say they want. Being in the education system, I often joke with my students about running for president. My students then ask me what my platform would be. One of my strongest stances in my answer is to disband the UN and remove all members from our soil and send them back to the countries they came from. Demolish the building and make it a parking lot. In this manner the UN would be more useful.
Libs want a one world government. That's why they are up in arms against what Krauthammer stated. Honestly, UN stands for Useless Nations. Its members do nothing more than sit on their broad, well fed bottoms and pontificate meaningless BS to the known world. That august body of bottom feeders is nothing but a cabal of overpaid empty suits and talking heads. If that useless group were worth its weight in dirt, it would have already intervened with force in Syria, have deposed the Iranian leadership, and told the muslim brotherhood in Egypt that it couldn't play in the new government since it is a terrorist organization.

The USA should remove itself from membership in the corrupt criminal folly that's called the UN. As an organization (like our own government) all it wants more money, power, and control and does more harm than good. There are documented stories of UN soldiers sent to regions in Africa to "keep the peace" found to be raping women in those already war ravaged places. This institution has got to go.
If I had my way, I'd withdraw our membership, stiff them for whatever money the US owes them, and give them 5 years to find a new home in another country or have its property in NYC taken by force, and sold to the highest bidder.
Maybe she should check into the reasons that people's children are being taken from them right now, today, in the US. Sweden is already taking home schooled children from parents. This UN crap is not a joke. Does anyone remember the couple who had their baby taken at the hospital when it was born, and the paperwork given to them sited that one of the reasons was the man's involvement with Oath Keepers?

The UN radicals now have allies in the highest offices of all Western nations, not just America.

Don't get me started on the inefficiency, the corruption, the greed, the duplicity, the anti-semitism, the pro-Islamic, dictator-loving and anti-democratic hatred that can be found with most of the bloated bureaucrats at the United Nations. The UN was a quaint Wilsonian idea that should have gone the way of the League of Nations, but never did. And it has always, always, cuased more problems than it has ever solved. Time to end it before it does even more harm, as was so evident with the fiasco in Rwanda.
America should just refuse to fund it. It will fold like a house of cards, all by it's self.
Other countries will comply by sending groups over at UN (our) expense to try court cases in our country for violations for our purported violations. These libs are so hypocritical is amazing. Can we send them all to China to march against China's eco violations -- that would be the end of them I think!
The Ungrateful Nations should GTFO of the U.S. and go somewhere more like them, like Darfur, Mecca or Moscow. Plus we should de-fund the SOBs.

So, for as long as I have been even remotely aware of politics, the same pattern is applied over and over again. Anyone who effectively stands for First Principles, liberty and sovereignty, and/or exposes the leftist, globalist agenda, is instantaneously dismissed, ridiculed, labeled, mocked and ostracized.
The reaction comes in unison from all sides, Democrats, Republicans, press , entertainers, domestic and foreign. It is incredibly predictable and well coordinated.
No wonder there are primarily Progressive Republicans in office - the rest were all chewed up and spit out.
We saw it with Palin most recently but it goes back to Goldwater and Reagan. Even when clueless Juan Williams accidentally expressed a tidbit of honest truth, he was immediately ostracized, eaten by his own to serve as an example.
Allen West never backed down and survived the culling by the press, the Democrats and his own Party. So they all had no choice but to team up to redistrict him. When that failed they stuffed the ballot.
Is there a way to beat them at this or is it the human condition to repeat the cycle of destruction inevitable with marxism, socialism, and other forms of intellectualized tyranny?
Even with what McCarthy did, which was stupid -- accusing citizens of communist ties without proper evidence -- the underlying premise was correct, that there is a moral and constitutional standard for American democracy and that standard excludes liberalism, socialism, communism and fascism. These atheistic "isms" are antithetical to the Western way of life. Communism is completely incompatible with Constitutional Democracy.
Liberalism as a worldview is just the new communism and it should be driven from our shores and banished from America into extinction.

I try to make the distinction between liberalism and globalism, and determine which one is really at play. Globalists like liberals because they will go along with any agenda which works toward shutting down the industrialized world. (free market capitalism and industrial production in the previously industrialized world) I don't think that the Bushs, Clintons, and Obama push the same agenda because they are all philosophical liberals, but it is rather that they are all globalists following a plan of global domination which is cultivated by global elites.
There are a lot of useful idiots who actually think that being liberal is trendy and nice, and they are the ones who will suffer the most under the authoritarianism of the global elites. At least conservatives see through the liberal manifestations of the globalist agenda, and can tell where it is all going. They will be better prepared for the end game.

I don't know how it was when Reagan was in office... but you have crooked Clinton for 8 years, idiot Bush for 8 years (and sadly, he was an idiot), and now the reprobate Obama in office and the culture in Washington has become predatory and twisted.
My hope is that if we can keep getting the Reid's, Pelosi's, Dick Durbin's, Howard Dean's, John Kerry's, Steny Hoyer's, John Boehner's, Eric Cantor's, Mitch McConnell's, John McCain's, Lindsey Graham's, etc. all out of there and replace them with Trey Gowdy's, Ted Cruz's, Jason Chaffetz's, etc. - serious, staunch conservatives and an Allen West in the WH, then and only then, may we turn this twisted mess around and have a climate of honor, integrity, selflessness and patriotism again. Maybe.
Until then, it's only going to get worse.
