Yes, they'd try and get around it by printing more money at first. However, this is not happening in a vacuum: the next step will be a very heavy downgrading, which will inevitably mean higher interest rates to service that debt, which means more money-printing ... and the creditors, like China and Japan, who are not exactly stupid, will suddenly demand their money back, or else.
'Or else' will be a crash of the world economy, and neither Obama nor the dems nor the soft socialists in the EU, in France and here in the UK will escape the blame.
It could well mean the end of socialism as perpetrated by all those elites.

Obama has no reason to treat his opposition as being sincere or having principles. His tactics of stoking class warfare, racial anger, gender warfare and demonizing anyone who dares to disagree with him is working. The voters just rewarded him for all of that with four more years. Why would he stop?

It seems to me those who have had their minds numbed by Zero's utopian vision of what the United States should be must see how much misery and suffering is to be endured under his kind, compassionate rule. To use the shooting as an excuse to pressure people into accepting HIS agreement is not only horrible, it's disgusting too. Well, elections DO have consequences. Being "Man of the Year" means never having to say you're sorry. I agree with Charles totally, and said the same thing to my wife when she came home and asked about the press conference. The man's arrogance knows no bounds, and it still astounds me that more than 50% of my fellow citizens are so taken in by him and his rhetoric.
Obama has yet to propose any law or policy in four years now that has, would, or will result in any economic growth or jobs created (other than those paid for by the taxpayers), yet he still gets a pass from a majority of the country with respect to any blame or even responsibility.
By the same reasoning, Hillary is roundly praised as a hallmark Secretary of State, and will probably be our president in four years if she so chooses (barring a mass Republican brain transplant and testicle implantation). What has she actually accomplished in the foreign arena, and what state is the world in as a result (direct ans/or indirect) of her reign.
Judging by the suppost and accolades awarded to Obama and, to a lesser extent, his Secretary of State, I guess we're not a very results-driven society any longer; rather, we are all image-driven and media influenced to a fault.
And, as usual, Krauthammer is dead on. Cooperation to Obama means it's my way or no way. He's already said he would veto 'Plan B' even if a bipartisan Senate approved it.
