Krauthammer says the problem with Palin isn’t that she’s not smart, but that she needs more schooling and she doesn’t realize it:
It’s not only lack of schooling, it’s the lack of effort to school herself and the lack of insight to see that she needs it.
BillO says he disagrees, but then says about the same thing as Krauthammer, noting that Palin’s frame of reference is weak:

I’ll be honest with you. I don’t remember Palin talking about any of the topics he listed. Maybe I’m missing something but when was she asked about the cold war influencing policy today, or asked about the Korean war? I remember she made a gaffe on Glenn Beck’s radio show where she mistakenly refereed to North Korea as our ally instead of South Korea. But surely BillO isn’t talking about that as it was clearly a misstatement.
I don’t know but this just doesn’t add up to me. I feel like they are talking about someone else. Really, she was the Governor of a state and I’m seriously not worried about her being President and I’m not worried about her having nuclear weapons. This is just the right continuing to hammer her but I don’t hear them hammering anyone else this way.
