Now that McCotter has proven what a “libertarian” he is by endorsing Romney, I think we all know what will happen when Christie leaves the race.
It won’t help.
- Jack Bryan
I wondered about that McCotter thing too.. he seems too smart to endorse Mittens for nothing, he probably owes him a favor.
- Anonymous
He endorsed Mitt??? For Real?????

Yeah. Bizarre.
He began his campaign with no sizzle, and he went out with a fizzle. I’m betting he hated every minute of it.
- Jack Bryan
I dunno. Anybody who’s got that slimeball Bill Kristol’s seal of approval is pretty fishy to me. Christie’s got charisma, no doubts there.

Levin: “Christie Cream”, lol

Levin has said also that no one is perfect. If you wait for that, you’ll miss the train and we’re doomed. And no, I’m not talking about should you settle. I’m talking about getting off a runaway train to hell that we’re on.

I like the way Christie stood up to the Unions however I am confused about what his real position is on illegals. Any thoughts on this issue? Please include links.

Christy (and Walker of Wi.) is a someone that doesn’t fear the thugs and the pseudo intellectual a-holes that act holier than thou while they figure out new ways to rob us.

Don’t forget he called people ignorant and crazy for questioning his appointment of Sohail Mohammed to the court.

We are still ignorant and crazy and therefore will not support Christie.

And wishy-washy on gun control. I’m not quite clear on his stance as he has never really clearly or I should say directly made his position, but talking points. I do know that law abiding citizens who wish to access their 2nd amendment rights, own a gun, find it very hard to do so in New Jersey with the very strict gun control laws. They did ban assault weapons and Christie campaigned against those who wanted to repeal it. I do like him and his no nonsense approach with the unions. But, there are some questionable positions.

Just wait til people see how liberal Christie is on a host of issues. The Perry implosion last night will look like a walk in the park by comparison.

Dan C, please provide links to back up your assertions. I really want to know about Chris Christie, so need facts.

The man that we need to run is Congressman Allen West. We need to raise our voices loudly and talk him into running for POTUS. He tells it like it is, is definitely not politically correct, is honorable, principled, a proven strong leader, could walk circles around Obama in a debate and the race card cannot be used on him!
Please help to persuade/draft him to run for POTUS before it is too late for him to enter the race. He is the person we need now, before it is too late for our country. Here is a good compilation of videos reflecting LTC West’s stance on many of the issues. http://www.youtube.com/user/reformnotchange - Anonymous
Agree 100%, he is a modern day George Washington… Like West, Washington did not want to run but the people realized what a leader he was and convinced him in a time of uncertainty….

If Christie eats Huntsman, I’ll vote for him.
I would like to see him answer some questions so I’m for it.

It seems like Christie has trouble with the physical rigors of being gov. It is questionable that he could stand the rigors of a campaign, let alone being an engaged president (unlike our currently disengaged pResident). What’s the life expectancy of a obese 49 year old?

Wow, what a bitter, angry guy this is. Could anyone get through this whole audio clip? Painful.
- Anonymous
This is why you folks can’t win. You mistake passion and determination for anger. Watch the clip of the lefty screaming at Bristol Palin, that’s bitter anger for you.
- Anonymous
You do have a point. I like Mark Levin because he does not have Palin phobia but he is hard to listen to when he gets passionate. I might add most conservative talk shows like Neal boortz, medvid, ingram, etc has Palin derangement syndrome. It is not just left. This sh** is contagious. Cover your face listening to these shows.

Nice try. Here’s a clue: when posting these obvious attacks on Mark Levin you should listen to the video first. Mark was mellow in this one.

A bit off topic, but I haven’t been following politics that long and I am wondering if there are more people vying for the nomination this year than in the past. I believe most people know that Obama will be one term and the nominee will be the next POTUS. Seems like a good time to take your stab at it.
- Anonymous
Waiting for Sarah. There are slightly more than usual. According to Rush,
Huntsman who bought his ambassadorship with the most cash to Obama and Ron Paul should be running on the Democrat ticket. It takes more than money to run as it is grueling work which attracts lots of kooks and threats to the candidate and their family. And as you know the person will get chewed up by the liberal media out to defend this incumbent they still refuse to vet. Thanks for becoming active to save your country. - Anonymous
I am Canadian. I follow American politics as I believe that ‘so goes America/ so goes the world’ That is not to say that I am ignorant of what is going on in my own country, it’s just that our government just got elected and we are not going to have an election for at least 4 years federally.
As an outsider with no vote I would love to see a Palin/West ticket. It would make me feel secure both financially and militarily. I hope to see a resurgence of liberty and freedom in the US, then my countries fellow libertarians will have more to point to for example, not that our leftist media will pay any attention to the facts either. I get most of my news from the internet.
I am praying that America can return to it’s former glory and that the socialists are never heard from again. - Anonymous
He’s got to be looking at Perry and realizing how much he’s gonna get ripped into once he goes from “thinking about running” to actually running. He’s the darling right now, but once he announces he’ll never be allowed to so much as eat a burrito in peace.

When can we expect numerous articles from the conservative media on how Chris Christie continues to ‘tease’ us about a presidential run?
Shouldn’t Christie fish or cut bait?
I’m talking to you Laura Ingraham, Dana Perino, Andrea Tantaros and Ann Coulter among others.
Speaking of Coulter, I expect she will need to be sedated if Christie were to actually join the GOP primary.
Hopefully Karl Rove, Dick Morris and the rest of the Know-it-all pundits will tell Christie that it’s too late to enter the race. The pundits deadline has already passed for new candidates to enter the primary and Christie needs to be informed of this fact.

Sounding like a RINO from here in flyover country. Obamacare must go. Glad he is tough enough for his state but he doesn’t sound like he brings what we need.

Wow, I disagree with a lot of you guys. Chris Christie would bust this thing wide open. He’s got balls. As far as the credit downgrade in NJ this happens in the beginning stages when you’re setting your pocket book straight. When I lost my job my credit got downgraded and had to cut a lot of things which hurt. People wanted Reagan out during his first two years because getting back on the right track hurts. After all that he became the president with the biggest landslide victory in US HISTORY. His state will rebound after the pain is gone. He’s right for our country. I guess you guys think the two frontrunners would be better than a tough big balls guy who takes care of business? As far as his weight, I don’t pick people by how much they eat. That’s the problem we gave here. We say we want people who make things happen and look great also? So I guess we should vote for Romney because what he lacks in policy he makes up for it with his good looks. Way to go people. Real smart.
- Anonymous
Balls are all Christie has. He’s not a conservative. We need a fighter, but we need someone who is going to fight for our side. That’s not Chris Christie.
- Anonymous
He’s conservative enough. I bet our economy would think so. I’ve watched many many interviews and I disagree. You guys are gonna leave us with Obama for four more years.
- Anonymous
His stance on AGW alone makes him the wrong choice. The biggest boost to the economy we could get is energy policy. We need to free up our own resources. That’s why I support Sarah Palin. She’s the only one I trust to do it. Energy underlines and permeates every aspect of our economy from the cars we drive to the food we eat. Christie cannot be trusted to turn our energy policy around.

I love Krispy Kreme, but anyone knows that once a Krispy Kreme is put out on the shelf for any small length of time… it goes stale real fast and doesn’t make real nice eatin’ by then.
Maybe SP ain’t so “dumb”, after all, by waiting to get in the ring knowing that exposed dough loses its deliciousness mighty quick.
I was in love with Christie for a very brief time before I didn’t love him anymore. I had my fill of Christie porn. Union bashing is a one trick pony…. sorry that’s how I see Krispy.
- Anonymous
I totally agree. Christie is the type that the more you get to know him the less attractive he is. We all loved Christie because we’re all so used to being beaten down and walked all over that his strength was inspiring. Here was a Republican who wasn’t afraid to go on the attack. The problem now is that he’s not on our side.
Sarah Palin’s “tease” is looking more brilliant every day, ain’t it?

Yes, it is. Plus, its saving her supporters lots of cash in the process!

God, tell me about it. Give a dozen glazed 24 hours on your kitchen counter and you can build a fort out of those suckers. Being a fat man myself, I think I’d like to apply a nickname to Chris Christie that was once applied to John Adams:
“His Rotundity”

Although I’m not fat, I’m a wannabee for sure. And there was a time I was getting there. Seems to me people jumped on a Christie candidacy solely because he focused on fixing NJs finances right away, standing up to anyone who would try to block him. While budgets and spending are of paramount importance in today’s climate, a candidate needs to be roundly scrutinized on all issues. No, no one will be perfect, agreeing with you on everything, but we need LEADERSHIP more than anything. We need honesty, integrity, honor, courage, intelligence, commitment, and a willingness to suffer the slings and arrows for standing up for what is right. We need a supporter and defender of the Constitution. ONE man stands out as that individual: Congressman Allen West.

We don’t want you Chris Christie. Stay in the NE. The people in the heartland, don’t want someone who’s hooking up with billionaires, and millionaires encouraging him to run. I have nothing against billionaires and millionaires, I would like to be one, but that tells me, you are an elitist snob, and can’t relate to everyday Americans.
This isn’t the worst of it though, you appointed a judge in NJ with ties to Radical Islam. That’s called having your head in the sand, when it comes to the enemy. You believe you can control the temperature, that tells me, you’re delusional, and arrogant. God, and his creation control our temperature. You are too small to have an impact. Invested in “Carbon credits, maybe?” Stay in NJ, with that big mouth know it all, Ann Coulter, who I used to like by the way. She has shown herself to be an elitist snob as well. I’m sick of these hoity toity East Coast types trying to pretend they remember where they come from, when they clearly don’t.
I want one of the people. I want someone normal, like Governor Palin. She is America. Her family is my family. They are like me. I trust her. She wouldn’t let lobbyists into her office when she was Governor, and I love that.
I’d rather have the local farmer as president. He knows what it takes to make it in this country. Not a fat, big mouth, elitist snob, who dines with the communist chinese.
- Anonymous
You know what? I’m kinda inclined to agree with you. Well said!
Mind you.. I do love Coulter, but on this Christie thing… she needs to increase her blood sugar and body fat.. the lack of energy is going to her head.
- http://twitter.com/PeteDanielsBand Pete Daniels Band
I think Christie should get into the race if he wants, but Palin is the one needed in the race. Her performance aside (which I expect to be solid), the benefit to the GOP is a significantly larger audience to watch these great conservative candidates and hear their ideas.
- Anonymous
I like Palin, I have nothing against her. I know of too many people that hate her for absolutely no reason. I know of some that voted for Obama only because McCain chose her for VP. I know that peole are stupid but these are the people that for Obama. Sarah is the only thing that made me want to vote for McCain rather than cast a vote against Obama.

This will be an excellent oppurtunity to see if we can get Christie and Michael Moore in the same place at the same time – to settle, once and for all – if they are actually the same person.

Better yet, one on one in a cage match. My money’s on Christie, by a KO.

Christie is not for me either, he is a RINO. I do not know why Ann Coulter loves him. I saw a blog on Mark Levin’s website months ago from a man in NJ and he wrote how liberal Chrisite is. Let him run, he won’t last long.

Maybe you guys need to look at Drudge today and all the Christie badgers will reconsider. Putin is back as the leader of Russia. We have very weak candidates. They can’t go to blows with Putin or the Chinese. I will vote for any Republican over Obama but they’ll still be weak. They don’t have what it takes to stand up to the Russians or Chinese. These countries are like dogs and sharks. They smell fear like a dog and smell blood like a shark. If Obama is president we will be #%cked!!! Period.

I WILL NEVER VOTE FOR THIS FAT BLOATED PIG!!
He is a liberal Republican (appointment of radical muslim (redundant), anti-second Amendment, for man made global warming), just like Romney and has as good a chance of being the nominee as obama does in converting to Christianity.

While many respect Christie for taking on the unions, he has a lot of baggage with Muslim/Hamas positions, cap and trade, and immigration. I predict he will not get in.
- http://www.gopalin2012.com Matthew J. Weaver
I do not see Christie going anywhere as he’s mostly a loudmouth bully. His record in NJ appears to be mostly talk and little action or accomplishment. Besides, his history, like Perry’s won’t stand up to scrutiny.
According to Newsweek, Chris Christie is now reconsidering a run and will decide within two weeks. All of this because people are still begging him to get in the race. Levin says fine, if he wants to get it, then let’s see how he holds up on the issues. Let’s see if conservatives embrace him.
***
Also, it’s worth nothing that Peter Hamby from CNN is saying that Christie’s advisors are already denying the story.
