Haha scoop, I love the Sgt. Schultz graphic.

I think what we need is a week of uninterrupted play back of what people on the left have been saying or at least dedicate a show to it. America needs to be reminded that rhetoric is rhetoric and the left uses just as much as the right does.
The kicker, however, is neither the left nor the right is resorting to violence because of it. This important fact is being lost in the war of WORDS. We might scream and yell but that’s our God given right to do so.
I think they’re trying to get everyone to calm down in a hope to tamper the burning resentment that most in America have towards government. So we’ll all just forget they are inept. They can try and paint Beck and the right in general as the problem but Congress approval ratings were in the toilet to begin with. An over reaching Congress and Executive branch screwed with peoples lives with Health Care Reform.
They called us the most implausible names (brown shirts) and then promise the impossible (free health care) to only deliver the impractical (Obamacare).

Sorry, but you’re wrong about the Right doing it just as much as the Left does it. That’s not true.
The Left attacks the Right and then accuses the Right of being hateful for not shutting up and taking it. That fact is being illustrated perfectly in this case. How dare the Right get upset and strike back at such obvious truths about how Evil they are? How dare those hateful conservatives talk back!

I don’t disagree with you assertion that the left does it more. Nor do I disagree with the idea that the right is just not taking it anymore. The latter part is an underlying factor as to why the left is so up in arms right now. The status quo is over and will never return and they know it.
My major thrust though is that it’s legal and most importantly this tragedy had nothing to do with it. This tragedy was a paranoid schizophrenic that was upset that Rep. Giffords couldn’t answer and impossible question, “What is government if words have no meaning?” That’s it, that’s what set this tragedy in motion.
By engaging in an endless debate about who does what more we will be allowing the left to dictate the terms of the argument as usual. Rhetoric isn’t the issue. Palin isn’t the issue. Beck isn’t the issue. To argue on any of those points is to let a left frame the debate in a way in which they can continue to blame the right with impunity. As soon as you point out that rhetoric had nothing to do with it they have no base to blame anyone on the right.

Incorrect to say the left doesn’t resort to violence, ever see their immigration rallies, global warming and green rallys, union rallies? SEIU goons are always beating or threatening someone,[remember St. Louis and the young black vendor being assaulted by SEIU thugs]. I’ve seen way too many of their rallies which almost always end up with violence, looting and destruction. It’s really one of the few things any of them are good at.

Why is Ed Schultz on the air?
He has compromising photo’s of Jeff Zucker.
What else could it be?

You know I have been on the Fence if I like the idea of the NBC Comcast Merger, However if Comcast Agrees to Take Ed, Ogerman, Madcow, Leg Thrill off MSNBC I think it will be worth it, even if I end up paying more for cable tv
- Davidkiser21
He hit the nail right on the head. 99% of all the hate speech is from the Dems.

Levin is awesome. Spitty’s jealous.

Levin also mentioned – and rightly so – the hag Joy(less) Behar and her incessant, angry screeching.

This is a list of Schultz’s sponsors. I plan to contact them this week and advise them as long as they sponsor Schultz I will not consider buying their products or services, nor watch or listen to any station that carries him. Further I will encourage my friends and family do the same.

The answer to the question of “why is he still on the air” is because he still has sponsors. We can do something about that, we need to do something about that.
I know this is what I plan to do - Anonymous
Thanks for the links and numbers. I will use them for the same purpose.
- Elmerfudd
I appreciate the list you provided too.
But Carbonite also sponsers the talk show hosts I like to listen to as well. - Browns44
So, they don’t need to know that unless they ask you. Kind of like a version of
“don’t ask, don’t tell”. - Elmerfudd
Or dirty politics if you prefer.
Don’t get me wrong, I figure if it works – go for it and boycotts can be effective.
However, I also believe in choosing my battles carefully, and I certainly don’t want to jeopardize freedom of speech any more than it is. (Lest we become like the unfortunate people living in places like North Korea)My greatest boycott in this matter is Ed Shultz, MSNBC, and all other such biased news media. But they’ve got their audience and I’ll leave them to it.
Except for when I feel the need to laugh at something.
Ed Shultz is a Beck wannabe if I ever saw one! Except he can’t make the same connection with his audience to get him the fame he’d just love to bask in.
Now I might have a twisted sense of humor, but to me, that thar’s just plain funny!
Sorry Eddy…ya’ just don’t got what it takes is all. - Anonymous
So person A attacks person B, who responds by attacking person C… makes a lot of sense to me!
Chris Matthews shouts more than enough that there would be ample Matthews clips to use for this.
- Elmerfudd
Whenever I hear Ed Shultz I feel like standing up and yelling: “This is a MADHOUSE! A MADHOUSE”
Like the guy on old movie planet of the apes. - Diamondback
Conservatives are saying:
“WE’RE MAD AS HELL AND WE’RE NOT TAKING IT ANYMORE!”
Progressives responded:
“SHUT UP AND TURN THE OTHER CHEEK LIKE YOU ALWAYS HAVE.”
Conservatives reply:
“NO!”
I say:
About time.
- Elmerfudd
And they better get used to it. Since I don’t see us sitting down and shutting up as an option any more.
I think it was Abraham Lincoln who said, “For men to be silent when they should speak, is a sin.”
Our “sin” of silence has been realized.
What will “Political Correctness” have to sqwuak about when it comes to this? - Rshill7
By the power vested in me nothing other than the Great State of Chutzpah, I pronounce Ed Schlitz (sic) the permanent Captain of The Good Ship Poppycock. The Captain’s quarters will be decked out in horsefeathers and he will don a balderdashing suit with built-in footies and pointy hat.
Here ye, hear ye, we christen thee Ship Poppycock with a bottle of 1972 Chateau de Koolaide….and remember, red sky in morning, doomus take warning.
- Rshill7
correction: “…vested in me ‘by’ nothing other than…”

- Elmerfudd
Thanks for choosing a bottle of Koolaide. It would have been a terrible waste of Mogan David.
