Lieberman and Collins to subpoena Obama Admin over withholding documents in Nidal Hasan investigation

Lieberman and Collins scolded the Obama administration for not releasing pertinent documents needed for their congressional investigation of the events leading up to the Fort Hood shooting. They contend that their investigation will not interfere with the criminal investigation headed up by the Justice department since they are not interested in the events of the day of the shooting, but the events leading up to that day. They are now threatening subpoenas:

“Senator Collins and I have now informed the administration by letter that if it fails to provide us with the critical information that we need to conduct our committee’s inquiry by next Monday, April 19, we will serve the departments of defense and justice with subpoenas to obtain that information.”
