Liz Cheney says that from what we know now about our response during the attack in Benghazi from emails and testimony, it appears that for 7 hours we did nothing to save our people under attack even though we had a drone in the sky and forces in Italy that weren’t very far away. So not only did they reduce security before the attack, they didn’t respond in any fashion while the attack was underway.
Cheney concedes that in real time misinformation happens and things aren’t always as they appear in hindsight, but serious questions need answers about what options were made available to the president and why they chose to react the way they did.
