One union upset that another union was given the job instead of them and here I thought it was the nature of competition that sometimes you lose. After reading your letter about 9/11, the first thought in my head is how dare you?
How dare you use that day, those people who died, those who helped save lives and those who also died while trying?! How dare you use the coming together as a Nation after that day, to show strength against an enemy who many Americans didn't even know existed to promote something that you people have used to divide the Nation more than anything else in the past 3 years?
You talk about hate. You need to look in your own mirror, you need to look around you to those you surround yourselves with. To take a national day of rememberance of those who lost their lives because of an ideology of those who hate, and to turn it into a litany of percieved grievances which have nothing to do with the terrorist act of Muslims is a disgrace.
You talk about workers. My husband is an out of work construction man mr. He has been unemployed for 3 years because of many of the policies which have come from YOUR party. You may claim to care about construction workers and others who hold blue collar jobs, but the only ones you care about are those who belong to a union. Even some of them, who may belong because they were forced to, and have their dues stolen out of their paycheck to give you and your cronies and connections is nothing but legalized theft. What you claim is a bald faced lie.

I actually agree in some ways with that, although millions of regular Americans have been doing just that long before that day, and will continue long after- and we do it without government, without unions. We do it every day Mr. Trumpka, and we do not, kind of like those selfless people who rushed into two crashing towers to save strangers and brothers, do not expect any kind of reward.

I will be spending the day of the 10th Anniversary of 9/11 at church, and I will spend the rest of the day in quiet rememberance of all of those who died that day. I will talk about it with my child and help him to understand something he's still too young to know. I will be thanking God for those who survived that day, and blessing me so much that I am able to live in America. I will also be thinking of those 1st responders who risked everything to help that day.
It is too bad that some folks from your side can not honor God or the responders. I pity you.
