Lt. Col. Allen West: Chairman Steele is totally wrong on why the black community should vote Republican

West doesn’t mince words when speaking his mind. When asked about Michael Steele telling African Americans that they don’t have a reason to vote Republican because Republicans haven’t given them one, he responds:

“I think that Chairman Steele is totally wrong…There is a great history that was connecting the Republican party to the black community and I think that Chairman Steele should do a little bit more research before he goes out spouting his mouth like that.”

Enjoy!

I like this guy….every time I hear him speak, I like him more..I hope we see more of him in the years to come….

I wish there were more people like Allen West running for office.

And I love how MSNBC tries to race-bait him…

This is the man we need to run our country – a REAL President, not the farce we have now. I believe this is the George Washington we are looking for.

Problem with the Tea Party?? In this last picture of the posting in the link below, you'll see LTC. West proudly wearing one of our 'TeaApproved' buttons. If he lived in our district, we'd gladly follow him through the Gates of Hell to help with his candidacy.

Wouldst that Col. West had Michael Steele's job.

    How about a trade?

This is exactly the man we need ,As a veteran this is the type of officer we would follow to Hell, kick in the gates for and lay waste to the place. We need this man in office.

I've always respected Lt. Col. Allen West from the very first time I saw a grainy YouTube clip of him.

I 100% agree. His message resonates with me, he is extremely knowledgeable about American history, Islam, and understands the threat that Islam poses to western civilization. He is unafraid to speak about his values and ideas in a principled logical and easy to understand manner. No teleprompter for this man. He knows his position and articulates it beautifully !

    AMEN to that!

West for POTUS… I'm on board.

If this guy is the real thing he would definetly get my vote. It is hard to trust in anyone any more so I hope he tests true and we don't get disapointed down the road. The media is going to do their best to pull him down, hope he is strong enough to withstand the pressure.

He'd definitely get my vote if he were in my district.

I actually kind of like this guy but the old Republican Party and the contemporary Republican Party are very different entities, and the fact of the matter is that most of the people who passed the civil rights legislation (save Byrd, of course) and the 13th-15th amendments comprise the contemporary Democratic party. That is just plain fact, and so it's somewhat disingenuous to proudly proclaim one's bona fides as a Republican and cite historical party politics that are absolutely unlike the party politics of today.

  • KeninMontana

Better check your history there it was the republicans that broke the fillabuster and got the bill passed so LBJ could sign it.

Too bad he's not in my area of Florida.
