Michelle Malkin asks the unions who are represented by signs held by the protesters if this thuggish type of behavior is making America’s children proud. She asks because Obama, in the wake of the Arizona shootings, said we should all act in a way to make America’s children proud, and she says at the moment children should be humiliated by the actions of these so called adults.
But she makes a larger and more important point that the Left is using this economic crisis to organize and get people fired up about 2012. She says it isn’t merely just about unions and collective bargaining, but they are trying to fire up their base at the expense of civility and public discourse. I would add that it’s also at the expense of the taxpayer. After all a crumbling budget is at the heart of the crisis in Wisconsin and the Unions just don’t care. They’d rather pit rich vs poor and make themselves out to be the lowest rung of the middle class. But America has learned a lot in two years and is learning even more now as these unions lie and steal to keep their Democrat money machine going. We are awake and 2012 can’t get here fast enough.
