I do really appreciate Mark’s common sense and truthfulness. I may be biased because it hits so close to home, but I am so sick and tired of all the noise. Nothing but blah, blah- it’s the tea party’s fault, it’s the republican’s fault, it’s Bush’s fault.. blah blah, it’s racism, it’s cruel, it’s… I need to go golfing, I need to go to Martha’s Vinyard for a well earned vacation.
Mark tells it like it is, but unfortunately, not enough people who can make those kinds of decisions our country needs to make are in Washington. I wish those who were would wake up to the fact that politicians do NOT create jobs, but everything they do can either make employment possible by getting out of the way of those who do create jobs or make it impossible for companies to hire more workers.
People may think that my family has been on a 3 year vacation because we’re getting benefits- sorry to burst their bubbles (nancy and others who think we can stimulate the economy with our unemployment checks) but a family of 3 in a tourist state where everything is more expensive anyway, living on 12.000.oo a year is not able to stimulate anything. With gas prices because of the policies in Washington, with food prices because of gas prices and regular bills, I am surprised we’ve been able to stimulate wally world by buying groceries for as long as we have.

I’m still learning so much, I had to look that one up- is that where our calls for term limits come in? I could definitly agree with that. Seems to me, what I have read, the early Congress and Senators were regular people with jobs outside of washington which they returned to after their term.

The 17th gives the “people” the “right” to elect Senators directly. They should be APPOINTED by the states as they were before. This would get rid of the Princes and Princesses in the Senate.

Someone should send Congresscritter Wilson a copy of Dr. Amy Wax’s book “Race, Wrongs, and Remedies.” In it Dr. Wax outlines how to eliminate the 40% black unemployment. Here’s the problem…….it starts from inside, not outside.

Are gas prices really going down? Yeah, right! I’ll believe that when it hits MY pump! All I know is that I am tired of paying huge gas prices. I found a new type of Auto Club. I use their membership gas card by sticking it into gas pump and it gives me 10% right back to my account for the gas purchase. It is really no hassle, a no brainer. With money we save, we enjoy more trips, movies and family fun stuff. You can check them out at http://gaspainrelief.mygasdiscount.net , the more that are doing this the more they can discount – its kinda like Cosco or Sam’s Club in that way.

This is excellent, perhaps even epic. Levin blasts Rep. Frederica Wilson and her comments that the reason black people are in a ‘great recession’ is because racism, among other things. Levin asks if the leaders of North Korea are racist, considering they are all one race? His point is that statism is the problem whether it be in N. Korea, in the extreme, or whether it be here in a more moderate version. And he says this is the problem, that we must reach people with the truth by getting past demagogues like Frederica Wilson:
