If you advocate any cuts to government spending then you necessarily have to go up against statists who will cry a river of altruistic tears to guilt trip you into not doing it. If you can't resist those altruistic tears then you will lose, Obama will win, and tyranny will be the end result. Who here has the will to say "I am not my brother's keeper; he is his own keeper"? Who here has the will to say "I am an end in myself; not a means to the ends of others"?

I really like Mark Levin and agree with his points nearly always. But Levin is preaching to the choir. The people that need to hear what he says won't hear it because they don't listen to his program. It seems to me that trying to change someone's political beliefs is nearly impossible today. I believe the main reason for this is the fact we don't have a truly non-partisan media in any form, television or print. Everybody's in the tank for these clowns that are running this country. What to do about it? I have no idea.

The country doesn't fall apart on weekends, when only the essential things are kept running. So just cut everything that isn't kept running on weekends. That's a heck of a lot of cutting. More than enough to deal with the deficit and start to reduce the debt.

Does anyone know the number of billions that were wasted down the rathole of green energy?....I heard it was 50 billion in "failed green stimulus" that never saw the light of day and is long gone!! Obama deserves all and more of the scathing comments Mark heaped on him.

With the huge need for cuts to spending, I had been wondering about those programs we always heard about, you know what I mean, like testing the hamster on a spinning wheel type of thing. Obama recoils in horror at the thought of an America on the way to a balanced budget and prosperity. Why do the Democrats want to ruin the U.S.A., as Mr. Levin has clearly shown that cuts and streamlining should be fairly straightforward.

I've been catching up on the various threads and debates since returning from the Cardiologists office.

On every thread debate rages, but seldom with each other. The outrage with Obama and the left in general is almost frightening in its intensity! Now that I know WHEN I'm going to have surgery, I can rejoin the fray with vigor!
