What would you expect from the one who early on voted "present" to maintain his political viability rather than DO THE JOB HE WAS ELECTED TO DO.
I lost my dad this past June, 88 yrs old, a paid up member of the greatest generation, he was re-united with my mom, who passed away ten years ago and, now, they both lay at the Dallas/Ft Worth National Cemetery. He was one of many who found themselves around the age of 19, jumping out of a perfectly good airplane, behind enemy lines in some useless piece of land in Normandy in 1944. He wasn't all that political up until these past four years. However, til the day he died, he could not seem to understand how a president of the U.S.....of these United States, could prove to be so anti-American. The behavior and actions Obama has displayed for the past four years totally befuddled my dad. He would react breathlessly at times when I would point out and explain some outlandish policy or executive order of the president that seemed to go against rational thought and logic; something that was not in the best interest of the U.S.
The complete dishonor that Obama has done regarding Benghazi is a travesty of immeasurable description. His disregard of his role as commander in chief leaves one speechless. And, as for me, I hold President Obama in total contempt for the level of dishonesty he displayed in attempting to lie through the reasoning of the attacks on our embassy in Libya. And, above all else, he has soiled the memory of my father, and the millions like him who sacrificed so much for our great nation, by stepping on the values of America; the very values for which many have given their lives; he has done this by ignoring the pleas of Americans in harm's way. Our nation has a history of answering the pleas of other countries in distress and coming to their aid, and yet, when four Americans very clearly are seen to be in dire need of assistance, this President ignores their cries for help.
I don't quite have any idea how I would have explained President Obama's behavior regarding the Libyan tragedy to my dad. Hell, I can't even explain it to myself. Can anyone who supports Obama please explain how you can continue to do so.......can you..???
I feel the same way lou...my Dad was in the Navy in WWII. My sympathy to you. I, too, do not understand how anyone can vote for or even like Obama. His approval ratings should be -100! I have called some members of Congress within the past week to tell them I am outraged that Obama didn't do anything to help those four men in Benghazi, and I demanded they do something NOW to find out the truth of what Obama was doing in the White House that night. I have talked to a few people who hadn't even heard about Benghazi! If I know a couple of people that haven't heard, there must be more un-informed people out there. Tomorrow, I plan on calling CNN and demand they tell the truth about Obama and Benghazi. The mainstream media is the laughing stock of the world for not reporting this.

Just do what you can and spread the word. I am posting every new fact on Facebook. All I know is that this is not an R and D issue, it is an AMERICAN issue! Also pray for this LAND and the famlies who have lost loved ones. That we may be able to maintain the freedoom for the next generation.
Watch Fox News at 3pm today. My understanding is that this was a cia gun operation with Stevens dealing with someone in Turkey. Guns from Libyia were being sold to Syrian rebels and were being fit with chemical weapons. Russia found out and put astop to it by sending in terroists to kill them. Thats why our Govt. stood down and tried to cover up with that stupid excuse noone bought into. We were real close to WW3.

I think this "reason" is very plausable, as sick a bastard as Obama is. However, it doesn't make sense given the fact that they had a warning of this two days BEFORE the attack. They could all have been removed everyone before the 9/11 attack. To know before hand and do nothing. To know that Stevens had been requesting extra security 13 times in the weeks before, makes me think that there is some sort of specific intent behind this on Obama/Jarrett's part. It is as if the WH wanted them dead. The military in the field was not privy to to their intended purpose to leave these men to die, as General Ham displayed by preparing to send help after the 3rd "stand down", and he was immediately removed from command and replaced by General Rodriguez. Just a coincidence that Rodriguez was there? I doubt it.
This may be an understatement, I think we actually need a revolt from real Americans against the government. They've sent our Jobs to China and borrowed us into oblivion to cover losses of tax revenue from the lost manufacturing jobs.
But now, Obama is not even letting us defend ourselves. There is a point where government gets too big, even now attempting to force us into a healthcare system which rations care yet is forced upon us...............if this is not time to fight then what the hell is our Constitution for.

This week we should all just stop going to work and march down to our state capitals and demand Obama step down, Obamcare be reversed, our troups come home, tariffs be put in place to bring jobs back and every illegal alien here be locked up and then sent home after a long period in jail..........no more free rides at taxpayer expense for illegal gangs of immigrants
If we all just stop working for a month or so, then the government will crash and we can get our message accross
And if we don't then the Bloombergs who want to control us and the Obama's and the sensless wars in arab lands will continue.
It is the duty of real Americans to consider even violence to defend the Constitution and our country
But we all must do so at the same time avoiding violence if possible, but if we band together, they cannot force us to work and the government would begin to falter and would be forced to hear us.
The banks have not done anything that the government did not sanction therefore the government and not the banks are our problem

the crisis didn't happen only on Bush's watch; it also happened on the Democrats' watch. That's because Democrats controlled both houses of Congress for the final two years of Bush's tenure. Nevertheless, during the 2008 campaign, all Democrats talked about were the "last eight years," as though they hadn't also been in power. Actually, Republicans controlled both houses for only four and a half years of Bush's time in office. If one were to adopt the post hoc thinking of Democrats, one might say that the financial system was doing just fine until Democrats took over Congress in January 2007. Indeed, the Great Recession began about a year after Democrats won the 2006 midterm elections.
Although the financial crisis didn't happen merely because George W. Bush occupied the White House, Democrats would have you believe it. Notice that when Democrats bring up some variation of "going back to the policies that caused the mess in the first place," it stops right there; they don't go on to say what those policies were. The reason why Democrats don't elaborate is because many of the factors that "caused the mess" were created by Democrats -- and some of them had been in effect for decades.
Housing, especially sub-prime mortgages, was at the center of the financial crisis. The Community Reinvestment Act, which coerced commercial banks to make loans to folks who weren't creditworthy, was a big factor. Enacted in 1977, the CRA is a Democrat policy. Fannie Mae was also a prime suspect in the crisis, and Fannie was created by Democrats in 1938, during the New Deal era. The "implicit guarantee" of certain "government-sponsored enterprises" (private companies like Fannie Mae) and the securitization of mortgages are also Democrat policies.
Another factor that may have contributed to the crisis is the repeal of Glass-Steagall (the Banking Act of 1933), which created "firewalls" between commercial and investment banks. That repeal was signed by President Bill Clinton, a Democrat.
Yet another factor implicated in the crisis is the "easy money" policy of the Federal Reserve. That misguided policy is attributable to the Fed's "dual mandate," which Democrats created in 1977.
So some of the causes of the financial crisis are Democrat policies that were already in place when Bush took office in 2001. In his column "Blaming the Bush Tax Cuts" on October 10, Jonah Goldberg sums up the causes for the crisis like this:
The question of what caused the crisis is obviously still controversial (though, Kessler notes, the official inquiry makes no mention of Bush's tax cuts). But a consensus seems to be forming around the following narrative: The federal government, out of an abundance of concern for the plight of the poor and middle class, made it too easy to buy a home. Congress, on a bipartisan basis, set unrealistic affordable-housing goals for Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac. President Clinton used those goals to expand access to mortgages to low-income borrowers. Then President George W. Bush, with the approval of Congress, expanded the practice, until way too many low-income or otherwise underqualified Americans owned mortgages they couldn't afford.
A mixture of greed, idealism, cynicism, and stupidity led to the practice of bundling those iffy mortgages into financial instruments that Wall Street didn't know how to handle and regulators didn't know how to regulate. As Representative Barney Frank (D., Mass.) put it in 2003, he wanted to "to roll the dice a bit" on regulating subprime mortgages.
In another recent column, "The Fed's Mission Creep," concerning the aforementioned "dual mandate" of the Federal Reserve, George Will on October 17 wrote:
Before the Fed was created 99 years ago, the U.S. economy was in recession 48 percent of the time; since 1913, it has been in recession only about 20 percent of the time. The Fed has done much good. It cannot, however, do every good thing, although Congress now seems to think it should.
In July, Fed Chairman Ben Bernanke testified to the Senate, where one of Fisher's Harvard classmates, the ineffable Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.), clearly hoping the Fed would give the economy a pre-election boost, exhorted Bernanke: "The Fed is the only game in town." Good grief.
Is Congress a spectator at the game of governance? Does it have anything to do with tax rates, spending levels and health care and other policies that have U.S. businesses, in Fisher's words, "inundated with regulatory overload"? Expecting --- no, mandating --- the Fed to perform the irreducibly political task of managing economic policy means off-loading legislative responsibilities.
To repeat: Congress is "off-loading legislative responsibilities" for "economic policy" onto the Federal Reserve. The offloading of its responsibilities onto other bodies, like the Fed, is one of the reasons Congress is the branch of the federal government held in the most contempt. What are we paying these people for? Why not just dissolve Congress and let the Fed do everything?
Democrats, whether it's President Obama or members of Congress, find it difficult to accept responsibility. Maybe that explains why Democrats have a hard time demanding responsibility from the citizenry. Given this unfortunate tendency, conservatives need to erect a "firewall" against the possible re-election of Pres. Obama by returning complete control of Congress back to Republicans. Winning back the majority is paramount.
Democrats fail to mention that during the halcyon days of Bill Clinton, when the budget was balanced and the economy was humming, America had an all-Republican Congress. We need to return to those prosperous days of yesteryear when America had an adult Congress, one that accepted responsibility. The Pelosi-Reid Congress was the worst in generations. America needs to "go back" to a Congress like that of Gingrich-Lott, one that balanced budgets and managed a vibrant economy.
Insofar as "the policies that caused the mess in the first place," Democrats already have a corner on that. As long as they refuse to acknowledge the consequences of their own policies, Democrats cannot be taken seriously.
How many of you think Someone in the White House was in colusion with the Muslim Brotherhood to kidnap the ambassador,not kill him? How many think someone in the white House was ready to "rescue" the ambassador,look like a great military leader, and get re-elected? How many think the Muislim Brotherhood,who visited the White House 400 times recently,would like to have one of theirs in the White House the next 4 years? What if the Muslim Brotherhood was told there would be no security at the embassy, even though the ambassador begged for it? Maybe the 2 seals weren't expected to show up and spoil the party. Maybe that's why they wouldn't use the C130 even though the Seals had the target lit up with a laser. The embassy had to have dozens of satellite phones at the ready, so they had to be in constant communicatio with the State Department from the start.
Would someone with the authority please look into this ASAP? The video story was just a lame cover-up attempt because Someone was caught flat footed and had no good plan B if the ambassador got killed. Your thoughts?
I don't think Obama is a coward no wrong words. He is diabolical, ruthless, lawless and last but certainly not least treasonous! We need to realize that Steven's was asking for help two weeks prior to this event, which means Obama not only let it happen, Obama knew it was going to happen and then watched! I think they call it a snuff film! Harsh I know! Now we have to ask why?? We have to as citizens demand the answers and now!! There hiding something behind this and we need to know what it is before more innocent Americans die for an agenda we have know idea what it is!!!!

IMO, Stevens was sent to Behghazi to be "offed." He knew too much about the Dumbozo administration's gun running to al Qaeda via Turkey and his other Muslim pals. He watched this massacre going down via overhead drone, but he is said to "enjoy" watching drone "snuff" films over and over again. No, of course, none of these guys needed to die. Our forces are always combat ready. No excuses.
I think Obama did nothing solely for political reasons. He is basing his whole campaign on 'I killed bin Laden, and al Queda is on the run.' Well, newsflash for O... the Seals killed bin Laden, and al Queda is killing our people and setting their flag where ours used to be, all across the Mideast and northern Africa. Rush said Obama was cold, really cold. He watched those people die, and refused aid. How much colder can one get? He has a compliant media who help him ignore this. Mark Levin and Rush Limbaugh are my 2 favorite radio talking heads. He always credits Rush Limbaugh and calls him the god father of talk radio.
I am livid, and downright disgusted with this administration for turning their backs on the Navy Seals who went back to try to save Ambassador Stevens and his aide. As a former enlisted Navy man myself I was fortunate enough to have serve under one of the greatest presidents of the United States, in one Ronald Wilson Reagan. Who loved the military, and would of made sure that the cries for reinforcements by our brave souls on the ground. Would of never gone unheard, and a military strike-force would of been there with-in minutes.
Instead we have this commander in chief claim he never heard, nor was he informed of what was happening in Benghazi Libya. This is cowardice and borders on Treason, and the articles of impeachment should be applied here for the lack of inaction taken by this entire administration.
There should be calls for investigations by the arm services committee now!

The President is lying - he blamed the murders on the video, not terrorists; his own words. Interesting that once again, it's all about Dear Leader...and he continues to crack jokes provoking laughter from his audience at the UN.
Not that Obama is not a coward because he is but I believe there are more sinister reasons why he did not send help. This is what I want exposed.

My own son believes I'm crazy and that Fox News and anyone else saying bad things about obama are just made because he is going to win the election. Remember the bombing of a nightclub in Berlin, frequented by American off-duty soldiers? It was sometime during the 1980s. I can't remember how may died.
But - as soon as it was clear that Gaddhafi was involved, Ronald Reagan commanded his bombers to strafe Tripoli, bomb Gaddhafi's palace. They did. Gaddhafi learned his lesson.

Obama's Presidency is a disaster. A bigger disaster would be if 51% of the country votes for him a second time. Bad enough that a third of the country just wants to sit on the couch and collect government checks.
But the commander-in-chief is a coward, and an incompetent one, and one who engages in cover-ups after the fact.

Can you imagine losing a child and during the service someone make that sort of statement to you? Our media stinks since they cover up for these liars. Our President and Vice President stink because of their lies. Hilliary Clinton stinks along with Biden and BO for the lies they all have told. They are traitors to the country.
Obama is a stinking disgrace. And his cabinet is a disgrace too if they don't break their silence... and I don't mean Hillary... just to save her career.

One thing is for certain, I would not want Levin prosecuting me in a courtroom. Gulp. I caught the Talking Points portion of O'Reilly's show tonight, which was unusual, as I seldom watch him anymore. However, I was struck by how visibly angry he appeared discussing this issue. I was struck by how he clearly knows this president is a liar, even if he won't say it directly. And, I wondered how it was that all of the rest of us knew this years ago, and O'Reilly apparently is just now getting on the bus with the rest of us. The same goes for Trump - Mr. Tough Guy. This is the same Donald Trump who openly praised Obama in 2008. Krauthammer - who talked about how smart and effective Obama was back in 2008. The list is very long on guys like these, and my memory is equally as long. All these mental elites who shushed the likes of Limbaugh when he said he hoped Obama failed. There were a few who remained defiant in the face of that fraud Obama, screaming to the world what he was long before he was elected. Levin is one of them.
Would they have acted in the same manner if the diplomat was Chelsea Clinton in Benghazi?
