Levin is brilliant mostly - he just disregards the constitution when it suits him.
Your response is irrelevant to my response and indicates who is truly clueless.
Some of us understand what it means to submit to the constitution - after all - they swear an oath to it to obtain office.
If you go to war - congress declares the war (something that has not happened since WW2) and then you do whatever it takes to win as quickly as possible and then you come home.
RP never said we had it coming. He identified, quite logically, why we were attacked.
If Christians were to actually read the Bible and truly understand the way to conduct warfare - we wouldn't get into these Vietnam type mires with no end and financial devastation for all.
Most people that react emotionally like you are unread. Please put a little substance (depth) behind your energy and read Liberty Defined.

ahem - Ron Paul has been saying to liquidate the debt for a very long time now. It's amazing how Levin doesn't like RP - but all he does is speak his language.
Obama is in full out demagoguery mode.
The Republicans in Congress know this, and know that the message from Obama & the Dems is this:
"Whatever we do, or don't do, we're going to blame it on You."
This is what will make many of them want to cave in, and raise the Debt Ceiling.
But I pray they don't give in to the intimidation.
I agree with Mr. Levin.
Let it collapse.
Shut down the bloated Fedzilla and let the people see how much of it we can do without.
The encouraging thing that has happened lately, is the thing with Mark Halperin.
If the Editor of Time magazine is coming to the realization that Obama is not the great guy that he thought he was...then, maybe the demagoguery is wearing thin and even his most ardent fans are starting to see that the Emperor has no clothes.
Well, if the current news about ignoring the debt ceiling is any indication, I don't think we'll see the government be starved of money. I believe they will go on with business as usual.
I thought the same thing when Obama was creating Gov Motors. And bailing out Freddie/Fannie May. And thought it again w/the stimulus and the 2nd useless stimulus. i guess what Im really amazed at is how many ignorant people there are out there. And it scares me. Those people who voted oloser in will prob do it again. god help us help ourselves. Talk to everyone you know respectfully about voting conservative.
Hate to admit it, but it's kinda like pulling the bandaid. Do it quick and get it over with.
Agreed - one quick bankruptcy - a return to the gold standard and we're back to work with a currency that has governmental discipline built into it.
That, and a balanced budget amendment. I just hope it's conservatives that get to catch the country when the money fails. Otherwise it might be soros and his goon squad.
