I would suggest that we all boycott Kathy Griffin but I don't think anybody knows who she is. The left in this country are the meanest, most hateful bunch of people. I'm suggesting Kathy Griffin tried to get into porn but they couldn't find anybody who would "work" with her.
Kathy Griffin should be banned from TV. She is an unprofessional and lacks class. I have heard her speak many times and she is embarassing to anyone she teams up with to do an interview. Andy Cohen should have straightened her out, but of course, the left can say anything and get away with it. If a republican/conservative passed these remarks, it would be headlines. Ban Kathy Griffin and Andy Cohen from the networks.
I think the reason people laugh at the kind of "humor" of a Kathy Griffin or Bill Maher is because it's like that nervous laughter everyone had for the oddball kid in school who was definitely going to be spending time in detention or even being expelled.
It makes you expect someone is going to give them the boot at any time. So you laugh, glad it isn't you. But it's not nearly as funny as real comedy. Not even close.
Ever since Richard Pryor, certain comedians are convinced that being "nasty" is the path to success. They didn't, and still don't realize Pryor wasn't nasty. He was blue, for sure, but he didn't make comedy about destroying people. He was unique in his ability to make very straight-laced folks laugh their a$$ off. People like Griffin will never know how he did that. Griffin and Maher will never have documentaries made about their great careers. Not ones that anyone will ever watch, anyway.
What would the lefty comedians do if they didn't have the Palins, the Tea Party, George Bush and Christians to make fun of? They would have to create real comedy, and they obviously aren't capable of it. They're audiences are just clapping,barking seals.
Griffin will do or say anything to endear herself to the Hollywood left. She has sold her soul for this fleeting fame and in doing so, has proven that liberals have a genetic aberration; more hypocrisy genes than the normal person.

Sorry didn't Bristol do just that? It's a shame Americans have to be so divided about fellow human beings. Both parties are guilty of the same crap.
When are we going to be a nation of tolerance? Not that long ago mentally disabled Americans where locked away out of site. Treated worse than dogs. Woman were forced to wear a scarlet A as punishment for having those babies out of wedlock. Neither party has the right to disparage a fellow American ESPECIALLY not Sarah Palin! One only need look to themselves and see we are all floored human beings. Homosexuals don't choose to be gay, they're born that way! Sarah condoned her 17 year old daughter to go live in LA with all those folks your talking about. Let's face it Bristol is not a great role model for Willow. Palin condones it. Palin speaks against gays and equality. If she's going to disparage a section of Americans that she hopes to represent than she has to be open to the same criticism about her floored family.
It sounds to me most of the people here believe 'do as I say, not as I do' . That is the very reason for the divide in this country.

It is scientifically proven that homosexuality exists as much as down syndrom. If you believe that only "normal" people are the natural order, than yeah, it is an antiquated belief.
Chik-Fill-A is not intolerant. The owner, Bob Cathy, is simply a traditional Christian who believes in the Biblical definition of marriage. It does NOT mean he hates gay people. He hires plenty of them. The intolerance and hate in this situation is coming from the left as usual. They are Stalinists who cannot tolerate anyone who doesn't march in lockstep with them on all issues. It's hard to believe they are attacking this business and trying to destroy it because the owner holds a position that Obama himself held just a few months ago.
Yep. Several times I've had supposedly "intelligent" lefties tell me that holding two, opposing viewpoints on an issue in your mind at the same time was a hallmark of intelligence.
I tell folks every time I hear that that it's nonsense. Why, every kid can do that. Nearly every non-Jewish (and some Jewish!) American kid can believe in Santa Claus and know it's really Mom and dad at the exact same time.

I read all of your comments carefully before responding. I chose the remarks that I thought were the most egregious to respond to. Your response to me was even more bizarre especially your response assuming that I have a perfect life and perfect children so I read your comment history. You spend a lot of time living your life through television shows. A show that depicts normal people with imperfect lives and you identify with the characters. You likely identify with the actors and their personal views that they must have living in the celebrity world as they do.
I made no assumptions on your personal character or your upbringing. I never accused you of anything. I don't know you, I only evaluated the word structure that you chose and then pushed "post". You do not need to qualify yourself by giving me your resume.
I am open minded, that is, I look at the world and base my opinions on what is happening not what people tell me is the new way to do things. I am not swayed by fictional shows and people who profit from saying things to sway political discourse. I evaluate and cross reference information that I receive. That is true open mindedness. If you claim to open minded, would you please tell me how you came to the conclusion that Todd and Sarah Palin having a picture taken at Chic Fil-A was so disgraceful. I tend to think that it is because someone said that to you and you followed like a good little soldier. I might be wrong, your explanation might help.
The "antiquated beliefs" as you call them, work well, it is what we have to base our life and future on. The new ways that you want to embrace are not tested, they are made by people who have an agenda to build power for themselves. The gay community that you want to champion is not weak. It is very powerful and very dangerous.
I suggest that you stop watching fiction and start reading about what is happening in the world around you. You are invited to come back to The Right Scoop, there is so much to be gained from the articles and the posters. Most of the commenters here are very knowledgeable in what is happening in the world and there is so much to be gained. We disagree but are very respectful to one another in disagreement but have little tolerance for trolls.

there is nothing in the Bill of Rights that says homosexual marriage is a protected right. gays have full protection under law. unborn innocents? not so much. oh and by the way, a baby is the womb has a right to life yet the libs support the murder of innocents. totally monstrous. I believe a large majority of people here would defend the rights of the weak and innocent. it is a huge jump to equate recognizing and codifying homosexual marriage with defending the weak and attempting to demonize those who support traditional marriage.

Not by choice. If you want to make a rational argument, go ahead, but this irrational, made-up BS is not how to persuade people.
And the science has not "proven" anything about gays. Almost every single reference to science boils down to the same, rigged and discredited survey done years ago, that proved nothing. Besides, applying more science to this will just make it harder for homosexuals. If Science ever finds a "gayness" gene, you know a lot of leftists will choose to abort the kid.
The fact is, most Christians love the sinner, just not the sin. That's why so many on the right are able to tolerate homosexuals, without relegating them to a protected (ie, "voting") class, like Democrats did when destroying the black family unit. So we have gays on the right who tolerate a lot of rough talk about their lifestyle from other right-siders, because they recognize that they will be SAFER when conservatives are in charge. Unlike the experience they've had in Europe, where gays are routinely beaten and killed by "asian youths" (the typical code word for Muslim gangs).
Prominent gays like Elton John have even pointed out that this whole "gay marriage" thing is a farce. Gays living in some sort of permanent (rarely) union is not the same thing as a marriage. Conservatives frequently say, "OK, go ahead, be gay; just don't tell US what 'marriage' is."
Despite all of the above, nothing about your lifestyle or mine is beyond or above criticism. The first amendment means anyone can criticize all they want. Therefore gays need to expect Christians to tell them they are living in sin, just like prostitutes, criminals, wife-beaters, and other people with "different" lifestyle choices. That's never going to stop, even though gays are still better off in a Conservative country, where stoning and beheading aren't acceptable forms of discourse.

I think the hypocrisy on the left is beginning to wear thin with everybody. I think it really hit home when the left attacked Rush Limbaugh regarding his comments on that Sandra Fluke woman, but at the same time nobody said anything about the comments people like Bill Maher or David Letterman or Kathy Griffin made on a regular basis about Sarah Palin. It's about time conservatives just tell the left to kiss off. The best defense is a good offense, so it's about time we start attacking the left the same way they attack us. Childish? Immature? Being dragged down to their level? You bet it is, but it also works. The fastest way to destroy your opponent is to make them a laughing stock. Sarah Palin found that out the hard way in 2008. Another confirmation that my decision to take my TV out to target practice and cancel my cable subscription was a good one. As to Kathy Griffin, she looks and sounds like an old whorehouse madam. She's trash and that's her schtick, that's how she makes her money.
As the libs dear leader once said leave the kids out of it. Griffin is a no class Hollywood lib, she better watch what she says about minors, she could and should be sued for defamation of character of a minor but like her lib pig friend Maher she will claim she is a comedian. To that statement I would say BS. Start bringing these drones to court for making false statements about people they don't even know they may think before they spew BS about a minor. Even if it would cost me money, if someone said this about my child I would haul their butt in court. It maybe a frivilous lawsuit but who cares it will cost her money to get an attorney.
Kathy Griffin and Bill Maher are living proof that even illiterate human trash can prosper in our diverse culture. Whether that is a plus or minus depends on each individual's prospective. Try to imaginre the type of person who would be "entertained" by fecal matter like Maher and Griffin. Scary to know they are among us.
