Mark Levin: This country will not survive as free if we do not defeat Obama

Mark Levin starts out his show by saying that he doesn’t think Newt knows what he is doing at this point. As much as Newt may want it, the country isn’t going to rally around him at this point and Romney will be the nominee.

That said, Levin is still worried about the general election because Romney is a weak candidate – not because of Newt or Santorum, but because of all the negative campaigning Romney did to destroy his opponents. He never built himself up, he just destroyed his opponents. Because of this and all the disenfranchised people he’s left in his wake, Levin believes that Romney now needs to bring the party back together.

Now that Romney is our nominee, Levin gives us a heavy dose of perspective about this election:

The reality is this country will not survive as free, our private property rights will be incredibly diminished, our Constitution will be abused daily, you’ll be more frustrated than ever before with fewer liberties and fewer rights than ever before if we do not defeat Barack Obama. It’s that simple. There’s nothing complex about this.
