I called Boehners office yesterday and told them I was done with him, done sticking up for him, supporting him. After he said he absolutely trusts Obama. I told the stiff that I talked to that we aren't stupid out here, and that he has stopped representing the people and is representing Obama now.The guy hung up on me. I called back, told them I did not appreciate being hung up on,and that as a taxpayer I had a right to give my opinion. They all tick me off. I am done with all of them.They have forgotten who they work for,they live in their privileged bubble and haven't a clue what they do to us or just plain don't care. All they care about is their political future and high living. To hell with the rest of us.

I endorse Mr. Levin's anger. I too have "had it." I hope more will come to the same place and rise up.
The marxist democrats are running unchecked in their tyranny, and as Mark said, the repubs are meeting behind closed doors in collusion. They are no help.
If the growing socialism is going to be checked, and if liberty is going to be restored, it will be up to patriotic citizens - government is the problem, they aren't the solution.

He might as well leave the Republican Party and become a member of the Demunist Party.
The problem is we cannot tell Boner had a lobotomy and his brain was replaced with a Taqiyya version and an inability to complete sentences. For example, "I absolutely trust...about as far as I can throw..."

This is becoming a really bad habit in Congress. A few people get together, maybe as few as two or three, and determine what over three hundred million people will do. Take for example the "fiscal clifff" deal, which was consumated on New Year's Eve, of all times. Nobody had a chance to review it, let alone debate it. It just happened. And who could ever forget Obamacare, where as Nancy Pelosi famously said, "You have to pass it to see what's in it." Are you kidding me? One of the largest pieces of legislation ever passed by Congress and nobody bothered to actually READ the whole thing? This is how we're going to run the government now? I'm just stunned that there hasn't been another Lexington and Concord moment yet with somebody or some people fed up with some very real No Taxation Without Representation that has been going on in Washington. It would be nice to actually see AND DEBATE legislation before it is passed, rather than have it shoved down our throats by a bunch of career bureaucrats who only pass legislation to maintain their pitiful jobs.
Mark, you've ruled out abandoning the republican party, so you have no leverage. Boehner can do what he wants.

Bohner is a traitor to the American People. This secret crap has got to stop! We get it from Obama, Boehner , Pelosi and Reid, all the lies make strange bedfellows, We need to really clean house and get rid of all of this vermin that has infected our country. The Democrats, and the Republicans are the scourge of our nation and both parties must be cleansed.

You're quite right in what you say. We the people have been the silent majority for far too long. We MUST DEMAND that all Congressional business be televised on C-Span daily when in session, of course in the case of national defense, some business shall not be appropriate. Barring national defense, all other business IS our business.

All of the extra-congressional action of our government is disgusting. Every time a member of congress meets with the President the end has come. Doesn't matter if it's about immigration, the budget, raising the debt ceiling, or health care. Obama is irrelevant. Boehner is plain stupid.

Did anyone else realize that Boehner is effectively "in charge" of the country right now? Obama is in Israel, and Biden is in Rome.

Another great night for the great one. He is just ripping these DC slops. Bonehead just gets worse and worse. The excerpts from Sunday were terrible. He is always semi articulate but he sounded inebriated. His reasons for his actions are just brutal in their illogical incoherence.

Mark is wrong, didn't the prior speaker inform us that they had to pass the bill to find out what was in it? This is just another small procedural change to shelter those in congress form being castigated and forced by constituent outcries to vote against stupid and unwarranted bills.

@Diogenes_wy Well it's close. Because the "citizenship" path in the bill (not after Obama's EO) is > 10 years, they don't have to tell us what the Amnesty is going to cost. Heritage says over $2.6 trillion with at least $2 trillion more for their ObamaCare. Maybe that's why Boehner and Ryan said there's no budget problem, hiding those costs.

So, we have two choices: work to defeat the bill or change the government within the 10 year window so that its effects can be negated.
First, there won't be 10 years. Obama will EO that to be immediately. How well did repealing ObamaCare work out? This country should have overturned the 1986 amnesty and Reagan had the opportunity for 8 years. It doesn't happen and the courts would be filled with illegal aliens suing.

Boehner is just another whining dog RINO with his tail between his legs. He is not destroying the republicans, he, and the RINOs, did that months ago. The only ones that don't know the republicans are the third party are the RINOs who made them that way. When you have a leader like Boehner, failure is the only a matter of time.

@rocco11 I disagree. The Republicans are willingly selling out the American taxpayers and are likely receiving a lot of cash from Obama's new "non-profit" org and the Hispanic orgs like LaRaza. Look at who benefits, money is never traced in DC and Issa has agreed to stop oversight of Obama and his Administration. Hear about Fast and Furious contempt lately? Nope, Issa dropped it.

Boehner was never trustworthy to begin with! I found it laughable that Boehner claims to trust Odumbo! So much for that transparency that was promised to the citizens of this country by this pathetic administration. This fiasco will be just like Odumbocare, which was passed before it was even read!

John Boehner is a liar. I don't believe he's very bright either, but he's a liar. I will never vote to put this creep back in the Speaker's position again. I will not support Republicans in name only anymore. He's a Democrat and he's a liar.
