Republicans and Democrats ignored the Constitution just allowing the Obama presidency, but this bill originating in the Senate is clearly unconstitutional.

Tried for treason, violation of their Oath of Office, as this Bill by definition is Unconstitutional as it is a Revenue Bill initiated in the Senate; a blatent violation of the Constitution. But, firing them would be a place to start.
Unfortunately We The People have no ability to raise treason charges. And Congress won't because nearly all of them would be charged.

However when this inflated national debt does explode there will be grave consequences and no one will be laughing. The time to start releasing pressure is now. There is so much wasteful spending going on and nobody seems to want to address it.

Seems like this is becoming a bad habit in Washington. They now tend to pass huge pieces of legislation literally in the dead of night with no public debate and no chance for the American people to even SEE what's in the legislation. So, according to Nancy Pelosi, you now have to pass it to find out what's in it. Also, remember that Obamacare was passed during the Christmas holidays when nobody was paying much attention as well. So how much do you want to bet that when they finally have their debt-ceiling vote, it will take place at 3 AM on a Sunday morning and the bill will be passed immediately, without giving the people a chance to read it, let alone have anything to say about it. This is NOT a representative republic. This is No Taxation Without Representation. Hmmm, where have I heard that one before?
Article 1, Section 7, US Constitution: "All Bills for raising Revenue shall originate in the House of Representatives, but the Senate may propose or concur with Amendments as on other Bills."
Doesn't this Senate Bill violate the US Constitution by raising taxes (Revenue)? Should not all in the Senate be arrested and thrown in jail for violating their Oath of Office? Apparently, our Government does whatever it Damn well pleases ignoring, with impunity, the Law of the Land--the Constitution of the US. We must face the fact that we are being ruled over by criminals.
This were darn predictable all along. I can never imagine these "arsetablishment" RINO gang capable of doing anything at all constitutional in a normal sensible business nature.

Pretty much... and Obama is bragging that he wants more taxes on the rich and he has no intention of making any significant spending cuts unless he gets them... so it is all moot! We should just go off the cliff because if they cave in to Obama on this, it will empower him even more and he will never stop!

At this point it's probably better to just go over the cliff. The people (at least 51% of them) voted for this, so maybe they all need to start paying for it.
No good options for the GOP on this, just a choice of the least of the evils. And even going over the cliff is better than one of these phony "deals".
