The Mitt Romney Record in Massachusetts:
1. Pro-abortion with taxpayer funding (signed into law with RomneyCare in 2006, kept abortion in his plan, refused to line-item veto it).
2. Pro-government mandated healthcare (RomneyCare has cost the state over 20,000 jobs and has actually increased the cost of healthcare in Massachusetts).
3. Pro-government mandates in general (“I like mandates” his own words on tape).
4. Pro-gay marriage with full state sponsorship (was first Governor to install it, earlier broke a law in his zeal to issue gay marriage licenses before it was legal to so so, then called opponents of his actions “right-wing”).
5. Pro-transgender lifestyle education to children in public schools (promoted by Governor Romney’s administration, read Amy Contrada’s 660 page book: “Mitt Romney’s Deception” which covers Mr. Romney’s support for gay marriage and the transgender lifestyle).
6. Pro-gay scout masters in the boy scouts (“I feel that all people should be allowed to participate in the Boy Scouts regardless of their sexual orientation.” U.S. Senate debate on Oct. 26, 1994. Massachusetts News, June 18, 2002.)
7. Pro-global warming caused by human activity (his own words: “I believe the world is getting warmer… and I believe humans are contributing to that”).
8. Pro-environmental regulations to combat global warming (imposed massive environmental regulations in Massachusetts, according to the Wall Street Journal: “Mr. Romney joined activists outside an aging, coal-fired plant in 2003 to show his commitment to the emissions caps. “I will not create jobs or hold jobs that kill people, and that plant, that plant kills people,” he said. On Dec. 7, 2005, the Romney administration unveiled the final orders. “These carbon emission limits will provide real and immediate progress in the battle to improve our environment,” then-Gov. Romney said in a press release touting Massachusetts as “the first and only state to set CO2 emissions limits on power plants.”).
9. Pro-taxes on businesses (closed loopholes, then raised business taxes by 20%, a $309 million increase, as governor of Massachusetts).

11. Pro-amnesty for illegal immigrants (supports path to citizenship for illegals, his own words in 2006)
12. Anti-second amendment (In 2004, signed gun control legislation in Massachusetts permanently banning the sale of automatic firearms).
13. Romney declared himself a “moderate” and says his views are “progressive.” (his own words on tape).
14. Romney opposed the Bush tax cuts, earning himself the praise of Barney Frank.
15. Romney appointed liberal justices 75% of the time to the bench in Massachusetts, including activists for abortion rights and same-sex marriage.
16. Under Romney’s progressive policies of increased taxation on businesses, the state of Massachusetts ranked 47th in the nation in job creation.

We have seen everyone vetted well but Romney and Obama. Why?

Shabazz) adopted son of B.Obama, Sr. (Muslim) and Stanley Ann Dunham, (communist, atheist) who is the biological son of Malcolm X (aka Malcolm Little, a black supremacist, Sunni Muslim convert) and biological mother was possibly Jo Ann Newman (communist, Jewish, daughter of Frank Newman, sister of Frank and Sandford Newman, cousins or friends of the Dunhams and also active as communists in US politics).
Now, if this is easily found, published online, known by many in the FBI, CIA, Congress, etc. – AGAIN WHY haven’t the authorities and the media made it known to everyone?
Why are the Congress silent while Obama spends money without constraint, oversteps or ignores the law and Constitution?
What is going on? Is this all just political drama and the real deal that Obama is going to win by hook, crook and trick, Chicago style, no matter how we vote?
Who is being real and honest with us? Who can we believe?

Levin you know who he is !! He is another Obama. Just take the time to compare the two to each other and you will know who he is.
The establishment has done a good job up til now directing the narrative about Romney, but the truth will set us free.
For instance: Bain was introduce by Romney as he was doing his Obama imitation about all the jobs that he created in the private sector, (of course failing to factor in all the jobs he destroyed). Bain was never about capitalism or free enterprise, but that is the spin that the establishment put on it and you all followed like sheep.
When Newt challenged it, the establishment continued their burnt earth attacks against Newt ( please separate Newt from Perry).
Mitt Romney also was the first to use the Obama model for campaigning in Iowa, by using his surrogate Pacs to go after Newt, (lies, half truths & exaggerations). Then in the debates he did his best Obama imitation by saying he new nothing of what was in the adds, nothing about the pacs or what they were doing. In front of the world he was “innocent”. People fell for it.
Romney Care and Obama Care are basically the same horse, but different colors.
Romney advocates getting away from Reagen and his principles. Look it up.
His rhetoric and record are 180 degrees apart, however, we are to believe that he is now the new conservative that will bring hope and change. Sounds like, looks like and walks like the person we now have in the White House.

My fear is that a Romney presidency will do nothing but make conservatives look bad and cost us the WH in 2016, and the Congress before that.

Oh, he’ll say he’ll repeal it. But instead of a masterful, LBJ-style, arm-twisting of historic proportion, he’ll cave when he meets up with Olympia Snowe-job and similar Republicans who don’t really want to lose their jobs.
He’ll give a speech and say it was a well-fought battle, and some of the worst problems with Obamacare have been repaired, but repeal just isn’t going to happen, but don’t worry, Mitt’s here, and he’s gonna make everything all right.

Appreciate your thoughtful points, steprock. But remember that Obama is already bypassing Congressional authority and abusing his Executive Powers. He has appointed unelected czars who preside over every area of US domestic and foreign policy, enacted cap-and-trade through the EPA, went to war in Libya without going to Congress, and installed recess appointments when Congress wasn’t in recess. He is effectively engaging in an Executive power grab – all of this occurring while he is still running for a second term. Imagine what he will do in a second term – where the restraint of re-election no longer exists.

He claims he is a conservative but his record shows he is not. After I read the article about what he and McCain’s staff did 2 weeks before the 2008 election to take down Governor Palin because he wanted to be the voice of the GOP and he was not going to let Sarah Palin be the voice. This lady is very political savy and they know it. Jealous perhaps.

This is why I like Levin… he expresses what we are thinking even before we know we are thinking it.
I ignored Romney because he didn’t say anything to me. And as a consequence, I rejected him. But the problem is, just like Levin is expressing here in his monologue, the problem is that I could never get a handle on what the heck Romney stood for. Romney engenders absolutely no clarity of position. So what do normal people do? They move on. So why are so many Republicans stuck on Romney? It’s just not normal to support Romney because Romney himself does not know what he stands for. Does this make these Romney Republicans abnormal? I suppose it does. They are a minority, but they are a big mouthed and barking minority nonetheless who are holding conservatism hostage.

Levin is rather dismayed at a video that has emerged where Mitt Romney is not only misrepresenting capitalism, but saying that he isn’t a classical Republican when it comes to economics, which he also misrepresents. Levin says he just doesn’t know who Romney really is:
