I liked the comments on the above article! The leftists are degrading America by confiscating earned wealth. It is an emotional degradation- think of the enterprising individual( a bad guy to Olenin), he comes up with a widget that people like and he starts to get rich. The gov't notices and begins to take 50%- 75%(France) of his earnings. what do you think this does to the American dream of innovation, individualism, adventure, destiny and perciverence? People will say, " whats the point". Americans of character must talk to low info people and show them that Obama is an illusion, that Progressive really means Regressive.

I can't stand this woman and it's really sad that people continue to vote for her. A friend of mine ran against her in 2008 and he received no help from RINOs running the RNC.
Maxine Waters should be jailed along with Charles Rangle, and Debbie W. Schultz should be removed at the DNC chairman. They are so full of hot air and bad backgrounds that who would even want them representing US.

Fair Share;
Many on this thread have all hit the preverbal nail on the head, that is most in the Democratic Party, and more than a few in the Republican party will ever define Fair Share. The battle cry over fair share is exactly what the Democratic party wants to engage in. It keeps their voting base fixated on a symptom rather than a cure. Yes many in the Republican party engage in this type of battle tactic as well. I believe most will agree that the tax system, as is, has and is the problem.
So what to do? I still believe that for any tax system to be fair it must follow at least three simple guidelines to be considered fair.
1. No person or company is exempt from being taxed - Before many here jump in the lake of fire, abandon all hope, sell their kids, and head for the mother ship, please understand this simple idea. If you have income, then by default that income is subject to taxation for services provided by the country as a whole, things like Military services, Police services, Fire Protection Services, and other Civil services that aren't covered by private enterprises. Many will put trash services in this group but these are normally private companies subsidized by state and federal organizations. The premise of this is simple, you can't expect to get all of these services for free. That means everyone.
2. No person or company will be afforded loop holes - The current tax code provides numerous loop holes for any who are smart enough to find them or rich enough to pay for them. Human nature the way it is will always bring the worst out in some. To avoid the propensity of crooked people to cheat, then we must close the avenues they use to cheat.
3. Enact a Fair Flat Tax Code - The easiest method to ensure that all people pay their fair share would be to employ a fair flat tax rate for all people and companies to follow. Again, before any start to commit sewer pipes, sell their best hunting dog, cancel Christmas, and bring about an alien invasion, the fair flat tax code should be instituted in a way to encourage economic grow. IMHO a fair method to address all money earners is to employ a Graduated flat tax bracket with the lowest earners being set at 6% with the top earners being set at 8%
The only "good" thing about the current tax code is that it insures the employment of the CPA community (and I have nothing against CPA's). Other than that, 73,000 pages of worthless lawyer-ese.
I SAY WE SECEDE! Red States and Blue states. Blue states will be the left coast, the northeast, and maybe a few Great Lakes States, and Hawaii. The Red States will be the rest. Let's just see in about 10 years who has the most thriving economy and who is still giving away the store and about to sink into bankruptcy and insolvency. NO DOUBT IN MY MIND. We're almost there now. Only a complete restructuring might save us. We should go back to the requirement that only landowners can vote. That just might end some people wanting THEIR "free stuff." I'm tired of supporting the leftist socialists who want to steal from those of us who work, give it all away to those who DON'T want to work, and to buy votes. Sound familiar? Government spending, as a percentage of GDP, has vaulted to 40% and increasing. That is too darn much government and too many government employees we DON'T need. And the debt they are pilling on us and our kids....FOR WHAT? Only one thing: RE-ELECTION.
You know what really p*sses me off about all of this "fair share" BS? It's subjective and doesn't even exist. It's a myth made up by the joker in the White House and is whatever he says it is. It's not a finite number; it's however much the narcissist in chief wants it to be and there is no limit. Why don't illegals who drain our system have to pay a "fair share"? Where the hell is the fairness in that? The people who contribute nothing yet draw welfare, healthcare and other entitlements don't seem to have a fair share. I wonder how that ass hat would explain that!

All tht effort to bring Federal Employee wages up to the private Sector which included designing managerial wages so Fed Managers wuold receive bonuses, just like the boys who earnd the right to wear long pants, which began in the mid ninetities and caused fed manager wages to nearly double-- now there should be a tax on those wages to reduce federal employee's take home pay to match standard salaries for private sector people as they are in 2013.

Look the Dems and Pubs did not raise taxes on the rich. The rich do not get salaries they live on asset imcome. Dividend income went up from 15-20% that is it. When you factor in their write offs and defered compensation most RICH will pay maybe 10% or less of their dividend income per year. What was taxed was working income between 50 and 200K/yr which will pay the most of anyone. This idiot does not know the difference and she is just a DRIVER for the Dems and LIBS. Keep them on the plantation and voting DEM and we will take care of you and her. Why SCOOP even puts this idiot on or acknowledge her as news I cannot figure out. I'll tell you what's unfair. UNFAIR is having almost 50% of the population paying NO Federal Income tax while sticking the burden of paying for it all to the rest of us. How come they never seem to want to talk about that unfairness?
