I just really love this lady! She is smart, I like smart! I had a long twitter session today with a black college student, she started out thinking the worst of me. If you are respectful and talk facts, you CAN change someone's mind! She almost had me in tears by the time our conversation was over. I am not a wuss, and she was so surprised that I actually listened to her. That is how you change people's minds. News media and politicians are who divide us! We have got to stop believing there lies! I don't know if she will still vote for Obama, but she did promise to go read what Mitt and Ryan's policies really are, it is a step in the right direction! What brings us together as Americans is greater than what divides us! She is following me now on twitter, and I told her I was going to follow her, because I believe she will be a very successful person, she was surprised that I wanted her to be. She hear's how racist consevatives are and she believed it, now she doesn't. I don't want to argue with somene just to win a point, I want to truely let them see what is fact and what is fiction, it's okay not to agree 100% but, the big issues matter. You can't change someone's mind by being insulting and rude, and believing you are alway's right about everything. I will exit my soap box now! haha. just wanted to say this because I see so much hate on both sides, when trolls show up, don't insult, use facts! they will call you names, don't fall for it, give them more facts! and above all, make sure they know you want this to be a great country for them as well as for you, and for our future generations. They will ethier listen, or exit the conversation. When you sink to the name calling and insults, they hear nothing else you say no matter how true it is. I know it is hard when you are so sick of being called racist, amoung other things, but you can change minds, after all YOU are an AMERICAN, yeah, we are exceptional. dismounting soap box NOW!
He tried his darndest to stear conversaition. I like the way she turned it back around on him several times. She didn't fall for the trap.
Speaking from the perspective of a senior citizen, I must say I am very very impressed with this new crop of young, intelligent Republican men and women, who are among the best and brightest this country has to offer.
He did not do well with his argument did he. He just came back to the same old liberal argument that people cannot survive without the help of the government.
She wants people to work them selves away from the government.
Amen, Mia!! Weaning people off of the dole is good medicine for their souls and establishing self-respect. Hell, as a full-time MBA Candidate during the past 2 1/2 years, I've also faced that uncertainty monstrosity called "starvation" on a few occasions, but have not once considered to apply food stamps or any other forms of handouts. I just needed to do a better job next term in reigning in costs and managing my budget, and I don't even own a flat-screen, excess jewelry of noteworthiness, multiple cars, boats, or any other form of luxury item in which one does not need when times are strenuously difficult financially. Of course, I am being a tad facetious here, although there are reports of people driving up to your neighborhood Target in their Mercedes SLK and unabashedly without hesitation rendering payment for goods with food stamps. Wolfie B. pissing me off towing the same rhetorical line of acting as the socially-conscious protector for the unfortunate without offering one ounce of long-term sustainable solutions that leads to self-sufficiency and self-dependence. It is that simple. And furthermore, who cares if she decides to join the Black Caucus or not. Why don't join and do the right thing by promoting economic empowerment through responsibility instead of yielding to government belief that you are too damn incompetent to feed yourselves through...what else, WORK!! Those are life skills that need to be taught and can be done by anyone of background and color. People on the left (and some on the right) are always divisive, trying their damnedest to pigeon hole individuals to suit their superiority complex and taste. He could have easily posed the question in this manner: "Why shouldn't you be among your OWN people, instead of leading a bunch of white people in a historically prominent white state and within a religion that had once held blacks as non-qualifying prospects for membership into the LDS church?" She is absolutely correct when she states it is time to consider equal opportunities for all as HUMAN BEINGS, regardless. Period!! Her family portrait is priceless and her ambitions to make this planet a better place to live for each and everyone should be lauded, celebrated, and rewarded.

I love the wave of conservatives we are getting coming to the table. They don't talk or govern in political terms. They are plain spoken on the issues with no games. When I see Democrat politicians talk, it's a fraud. Every talking point and lie comes to the table. I don't want to be lied to even if I don't like the message. We need serious people to run this country, not demagogues.
Break the poll down further, Wolf, and you will find that married women are more secure and vote conservative. The truth is, Wolf, that Obama gets the vote of single women who worry about being able to support their family. They are voting for welfare.
That sounds noble of those women.....to worry about the welfare of their kids. But many women have kids irresponsibly, such as having 5 kids with no father figure in sight. That's not noble. That's irresponsible and holding their hands out for society to give them a free ride while they become baby factories. That's where Obama gets his votes from women. Conservative women don't go out and have 5 kids with no father figures. They try to provide for their kids on their own and don't lay down for a paycheck.....and they try to provide a father figure.
My 22 year old daughter loves this young woman. As she told me, "There's nothing braver than a black conservative."
Why do Republicans give any of their time to the liberal media? They need to interview with Breitbart!
Because there are still knuckleheads out there (I think they're called independents) who still believe everything CNN says and those are who they're seeking to win over. Breitbart's audience is already on board.

I'm tired of hearing about the Republican "war on women". After they make this ridiculous statement they show stats for Romney's support with men vs. his support with women. They also show Obama's stats with men which are a full 10 points lower than for the Republicans. Why aren't we talking about the Democrats "war on men"? For most men being able to provide for their families by having a meaningful job is crucial to their well-being. By not concentrating on job creation Obama is definitely waging a "war on men".

They do have a war on men. At least if you think of the word as the stereotype bread winner, provider for the family. they don't want competent bread winners. They want weak people stretching their hand out to the government for help....
The left has a war on anyone wanting to be self sufficient. Especially in the groups that have labelled as minorities.

Mitt needs to appeal to women voters through the jobs and debt issues. Every child that is born today instantly owns $50,000 of the national debt. College graduates are up to their eyeballs in student loans and they can't find jobs. Mothers and grandmothers will respond to those issues. Concede the votes of young liberal women who are only interested in the birth control issue, they're unreachable anyhow.
Poor Wolf and his "social programs" talking points. We could have multiple nuclear bomb attacks on our country with millions killed, and CNN will still be talking about abortion and contraception.

I'm amazed that none of these leftist loons want to talk about the economy, jobs, border security, out-of-control spending, 16T of national debt, Fast & Furious, green on blue killings, etc. About issues that are directly affecting and hurting America and Americans.
Only social issues? Is that REALLY what Americans want to hear about? These clowns are on an unrighteous crusade for the minor issues of the day. And it will likely be their undoing... Americans are hurting and for those who are paying attention, they want to know what these politicians are going to do to help them get back on their feet... not how they "feel" about abortion, rape or uncontrollable flatulence. Pathetic.
Still can't understand why the republicans continue to put themselves in positions,with these leftwing fanatics who make no pretense for being objective,to be attacked unreasonably for their views. If anything this election will do, it will expose,without doubt, the unbridled corruption of the mainstream media to be a force of the change being forced down our throats and the stifiling of American exceptionalism to the level of third world countries. This is the real Civil War.
I think the reason that people like Mia, Walker, etc...take interviews by the unbalanced lib media, is presicely because of the loaded questions, and blatant dishonesty it allows them to demonstrate to the watching public. In the end, they are ultimately giving the media all the rope they need to hang themselves.
Right now we are taking back our country, next we will take back the airways, and until that day, those of us who want only the honest truth, will continue to find it by searching for it online.

Two days ago on the Chris Plant Show (radio) he had an AFrican American woman who was telling the story of arguing with her own family over how MSDNC hid all of the monorities at the conference and told her mother that the only racists in this election are democrats and their talking heads.
That interview was completely off of the hook, good.

Poll numbers really do not mean anything. Just look at the 1980 numbers with Reagan and Cater a few days before the election. 47-44 Carter poll numbers. 50-41 Reagan win.
How about Al Gore? He was leading every single poll right up to the moment he lost the election. By a landslide, I might add.

I can explain a bit of the divide between polls and facts, too. Every single one of my Marine Veteran friends tend to agree to do polls any time they are asked. And every poll they do, they express the exact opposite of what they really believe. We are a wacky bunch.
Too bad the Mormon religion has the exceptions for abortion. And I wish someone, anyone would tell the Blitzers that keep asking about those exceptions that it has NEVER been illegal in this country to have an abortion when it came to the life of the mother.
