Bachmann has come out with a new ad called Waterloo which apparently isn’t just the town she was born in. In this ad she’s putting a stake in the ground saying that we can’t keep up the outrageous spending and affirms she will not vote to increase the debt limit:
That was good ad. I like it when politicians talk directly in the camera and don’t sound fake. Obama did a lot of that in 2008 and it worked for him because it made him sound more genuine. I think it works for Bachmann too. Not to mention she’s dead on about not spending what we don’t have. I think that will resonate with people too.
