When I heard Rand Paul speak, it made me realize how much I miss, good old fashion common sense. Common sense tells us that in a normal Admin, Hillary would have been forced to resign and her hopes for 2016 presidential run ruined, especially since it happened right before an election, but since very few politicians these days have common sense and the media is just another of the Borg, she gets a free pass and Rand Paul's real question, the one about gunning running via Turkey, is ignored almost completely. At this point and I do realize there's probably a handful of good congressman/woman and senators out there, but they all need fired.
Shift the blame is today's working strategy in WDC. DoS is so big Hilliary didn't know there were requests for more security. DoJ is so big the AG Holder didn't know about F&F. IRS bureaucrats mate up with HHS to adjudicate health care is the next liviathon to rein down chaos resulting from the ones in charge have no eye in unintended consequences. Linked up with total failure to think through the implications. Math, however, is coming. And Math's best friend is Reality.
Should Rand Paul continue to confront this regime and the Big Whigs amongst the ruling elite of the GOP and Washington as he did Clinton, I think he'll do great in a run for president in 2016 whether as a member of the GOP or as a third party conservative.
I'm not a libertarian - I consider myself a pro-life conservative - and I would support him if he ran as a pro-life conservative. The same I will say for anyone else who wishes to run as either a pro-life conservative third party candidate or a pro-life conservative Republican.

yes...because I looked past the one line attacks and found his reasoning/explanations acceptable and found his views and ideas the most acceptable and beneficial to our nation.
She didn' t see the memos requesting additional security, but apparently she read and acted on someone' s memo to remove security from the Libyan embassy in August 2012!

Rand called it right and was honest. In an uncorrupt country, with a leadership that wasn't literally insane, what Rand said would have happened - Hillary would have (should have) been fired. Many people in our leadership were criminally complicit in this tragedy. Many of them could have done something to save those men.
Rand's response to those who are crying foul should simply be: "What difference does it make?"

Think of the toddler having a tantrum in a toy store. What better way to stifle adult behavior and discussion than to act like a spoiled child in front of as many people as possible. What does the mother in the toy store do? What are her choices? We need a child psychologist to help us deflect the tactics of the Left.
Rand Paul was my hero yesterday! I am sick and tired of officials made to look like the second coming when they were responsible for the death of our people. Obama is the guiltiest...he would NOT send help for fear of stirring up an international incident for the weapons running project he had going for the Rebels in Syria. Clinton did nothing to protect our ambassador and she is just as responsible. Good for Rand...he is looking better and better for 2016!

you can forget about most Republicans in Washington D.C, there are literally a handful of good congressman (look who voted against sandy pork bill) and a few senators, the rest are establishment deal makers. The GOP leadership are too frightened to stand on principles and push the government to the debt limit and the Dems know this.
For crying out loud! These are the same people that still go after people out of office (GW Bush and Sarah Palin), but don't bring up anything the person in charge is doing? Please!
It couldn't be more obvious that Hillary, hubby, and all Obama's people haven't a shred of integrity. Gross mismanagement of an agency is reason to step down, but refusing aid and getting 4 people murdered is inexcusable. She is incapable of shame or guilt, same for Obama and Bill.
