Michelle Malkin opened RightOnline this morning with a great speech, talking not about new vs old media, but right vs wrong media and how ‘right media’ has made a big difference in our politics. She talks about her experiences as a journalist/blogger and the need to remove the corrupt from power and exalt those who are getting it right:

She is more than pepper and salt – she is a diamond. Since I’ve noticed her, ten years ago, she was always consistent and sharp, and her speeches are always eloquent and to the point – brilliant lady and a beautiful woman.

Her message is spot on. The only complaint about michelle malkin is that annoying lisp and it sounds like she’s talking down to us with a conceited tone.

    • Anonymous

      What lisp?

      • http://www.facebook.com/people/May-Jon/100002146373083 May Jon

Notice you didn’t ask about the “she’s talking down to us with a conceited tone” comment. Listen and look very carefully. The facial expressions & the voice say, ‘shrew, shrew, shrew’. She’s annoying, that’s why o’reilly stopped having her on his show.

You’re a piece of work. It must have killed you to not make a racial joke while trashing Malkin.

Bill O’Reilly did not stop Michelle Malkin from guest hosting and appearing on The Factor. She made the decision to stop after Geraldo Rivera said on the air that he would spit on Malkin if he saw her in person. Bill O’Reilly, the cretin that he is, then had Geraldo on The Factor and not only let Rivera insult and trash Malkin again, he refused to condemn him for his spitting threat.

Michelle Malkin decided to have no further connection to The O’Reilly Factor and Bill O’Reilly. She made one blog post about it and has never brought it up since. Her reference to “spitting” in the speech posted here is the most I’ve seen her say about since then.

Laura Ingraham should be ashamed of herself for being anywhere near Bill O’Reilly, but that’s a woman for you.

oh! come on jaynie. Why is it racial? Maybe you’re self projecting? ‘Laura Ingraham should be ashamed of herself’, really? What about a woman’s right to choose? From your name it’s safe to assume you’re a woman, right? Without offending you I’ll say many women, especially michelle malkin comes off sounding prudish, condescending, and most of all bitchy. Maybe it’s not her fault, that’s the way she really talks and she can’t control it. It comes off as overcompensating, that’s all i’m going to say. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news. :-(

Yes, I’m a woman and I hate women like you.

Why do you presume i’m a woman?

                • Anonymous

                  You write like a woman.

                • http://www.facebook.com/people/May-Jon/100002146373083 May Jon

i don’t know if i should take that as an insult or compliment. There are strong women in history joan of arc, indira gandhi, golda meyer, margaret thatcher, sarah palin, michelle bachmann. So thanx. ;-)

                • Anonymous

                  It was an insult.

You’re either a woman or a 14 year old boy. Either way you’re dumb and show it with what you think is typing cute.

why take pot shots at each other? My only objection is some people are meant to be seen and not heard, while others are meant to be heard and not seen. Rarely do we get a perfect fit of both.

I’m revising my guestimate to a 24 year old first year college student.

It’s true,Mr.Rivera, did make that comment. It’s funny how some people in the publics eye, can’t deal with the truth.Mr. Rivera should have stuck to singing.

Notice you didn’t come back about the imaginary lisp.

If you are a liberal, then yes, she is talking down to you.

There may be a kernel of a sound idea in your post. I like Bachmann, but noticed problems in how she came off at the debate (and that apart from how much her honking Minnesota accent annoys me – the Caahn-stitution). It made me think that part of it may just be the higher pitch of female voices, but Hillary, Palin, Bachman and Malkin can all sound “shrill.” There just may be a natural male advantage in politics related to how much stress is revealed or exposed in vocal tone.

Apart from that, no, I don’t hear Malkin as any more “shrewish” than these other familiar voices.

i’m glad to bring attention to the femme fatale.

Thanks for uploading these vids. She gave a pretty good speech — in fact, it was better than MB’s speech. MB’s speech seemed hoaky and fake. Malkin’s felt honest.

But anyway, can’t wait to see how well Cain did.

The amazing thing about most conservative women is that they are:
    1. Very intelligent,
    2. Very well versed on the facts,
    3. Do not rely on being a woman as some sort of shield, yet have no problem dressing like a woman and looking attractive,
    4. Very, very hot!
