As someone that held a security clearance, and saw, and heard and read things that really have no reason for dissemination, I was told that the best way to keep a secret is not to even acknowledge that that secret even exists. I will not be charitable. I never have, and I never will. I will play the ball where it lies, and tell it like it is. People keep wanting to look "nice" and compliment Obama on his "intelligence". Obama is not an intelligent man. In fact, I think he's downright stupid. Nobody that has the intelligence of a teenager would have done the things he's done, regarding national security, ranging from opening our borders to criminals from around the world, to gutting our military with morale destroying pro-gay policies, and gutting the ranks, on top of that.
The Cloward–Piven strategy is by which "the system" (the American welfare state) is overloaded with people with their hands out, collapsing the nation's economy, and possibly even it's government, leaving leftists with the chance to remake the nation in their own image. Obama might be too stupid to know this strategy by name, but clearly he's engaged in it, even as you read this. However, on an even worse level, its looking as though he's also engaged in an even more twisted version of that anti-American attack, by seeking to overload national defenses. He sends our troops on un-Constitutional wild goose chases in Africa. He opens our borders. He waters down our troops with resentful, untrustworthy gays. He bars the troops from getting the newest and best weapons and equipment. He cuts down the size of the forces. Simultaneous to that, he continues to make an already dangerous world, an even more dangerous place, through proxy organizations like the State Department and through proxies like Clinton (Hillary). He emboldens our enemies and gives them weapons and equipment, even as our Soldiers and Marines are still fighting for their lives against enemies that Obama emboldens more and more, each day, by his every word and action. Add to that Obama's speech that the armed forces aren't good enough to defend the country, and that we should have a "civilian" national security force, 'just as powerful, just as well armed' as the DOD.

Obama is a threat to not only American national security, but a threat to the world. Destabilization of the United States from within by a corrupt regime, stocked with corrupt politicians, would lead to what JFK called the "Domino Effect", but he never envisioned the United States to be the first domino, triggering others to fall. If Obama loses this election, it cannot end there. If WILLARD is to have any credibility, he has to open a full investigation of Obama and his anti-American crew, to find out the source of these leaks, and these people have to be punished to the fullest extent of the law. If he waffles like Ford, then he deserves to go down in history as a temporary politician every bit as reviled as Ford, and every bit as hated as Obama, himself.

I implicitly do not trust POTUS Barack Obama, nor his entire Cabinet, nor his entire Administration. I am far more fearful of the attack on the United States of America that has long ago been initiated and is most certainly presently underway -- at the behest and direct guidance and involvement of our present Government officials within -- than I am of any potentiality of attack from a foreign group and/or Government from outside of America.
Two terrifying World Wars later and just a mere 236-years after decisively winning our independence from a despicable Monarch whom held this entire land hostage under his grinding boot heel and whom divided and very nearly conquered us from half a world away with wooden ships and murderous actions; We are once again under the rule and under the boot heel of a despicable Monarch -- in the guise of a democratically elected leader -- whom divides us and attempts to conquer us from within with wooden platitudes and seditious actions.
It is all taking place right before our very eyes and right under our very noses. To donate was a no brainer decision for me. These are the folks that have spent their careers risking their lives for me, and this country. Showing my support for them is the least I can do, which is little compared to what they have done for us, and are doing for those still active in operations.

My dad was a highly decorated three-war Recon Marine who was involved closely with the special ops community for many years. When I was a kid I used to ask him what he did and he would reply that it was nothing worth talking about. As a young man I finally got it.
Coincidentally I was with him when obie and his crew took this live to the world for political gain. We were amazed at the spectacle before us. When I asked my dad how this announcement should have been made he said "one sentence: elements of the US military have eliminated OBL". End of press conderence. No questions.

Social Security Administration Requests Massive Amounts of .357 Ammo — But Why?
First the Department of Homeland Security ordered 450 million rounds of ammunition, then the National Oceanic Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) submitted an order for 46,000 rounds of high powered ammo, and now Business Insider reports that the Social Security Administration is asking to purchase 174,000 rounds of .357 hollow point bullets.
This type of ammunition is arguably one of the more powerful available. R.K. Campbell at Gun Blast describes his experience with the .357 ammo:
“I observed the effect of the .357 Magnum 125 grain JHP once over the top of my own sights. The effect was gruesome. A solid hit that produced a severe blood flow AND dramatic effect from the rear, including lung tissue thrown perhaps three feet.”
The purchase request from SSA was discovered at FBO.gov. What the agency plans on doing with these bullets is still unclear at this point, but the move has set the internet ablaze with speculation.
Business Insider has more details on the story:
The 125 grain and JHP (jacketed rounds) are exactly the ones requested by the SSA and their offices of Inspector General and Office of Investigation.
The FBO has a link that lists all locations slated to receive the batches of bullets. Offices like Greensboro, NC are getting a mere 1,000 rounds while offices like Iselin, NJ are getting 10 times that number.
Alex Jones’ InfoWars is quick to point out that this acquisition jibes with a DHS operation in January where the agency swarmed a Leesburg, FL social security office and posted armed guards outside the doors.
Yesterday, the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) said that a “clerical error” led to the National Weather Service requesting to buy 46,000 rounds of ammunition for semiautomatic pistols, the Washington Post reported.
Despite the solicitation specifically naming the National Weather Service, NWS spokesman Chris Vaccaro said the ammunition is not for the agency. Instead, he says the solicitation indicates that the ammo is to be delivered to “NMFS” or the National Marine Fisheries Service, also under the NOAA umbrella.
NOAA‘s website describes NMFS’s law enforcement function as “dedicated to enforcing laws that conserve and protect our nation’s living marine resources and their natural habitat. Our goal is to assure that the many people who enjoy these resources for recreation or rely on them for business follow the rules that will maintain the species for future generations.”
Shortly after the initial reporting of the story, NOAA spokesman Scott Smullen emailed the following statement to the Washington Post, clarifying the ammunition order is for NOAA Fisheries Office of Law Enforcement:
“Due to a clerical error in the federal business vendor process, a solicitation for ammunition and targets for the NOAA Fisheries Office of Law Enforcement mistakenly identified NOAA’s National Weather Service as the requesting office. The error is being fixed and will soon appear correctly in the electronic federal bidding system. The ammunition is standard issue for many law enforcement agencies and it will be used by 63 NOAA enforcement agents in their twice annual target qualifications and training.”
The Washington Post points out that NOAA is not a stranger to odd solicitation orders. The agency previously withdrew a $5,000 solicitation for a magician to motivate employees at a leadership training seminar.
In March, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) awarded defense contractor ATK with an “Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) agreement” for .40 caliber hollow point ammunition. According to the ATK press release from earlier this year, U.S. agents are scheduled to get 450 million rounds over a five-year period.

Just to point out a couple of things, the requested .357 ammunition is .357 SIG, not .357 Magnum. The .357 SIG round is a common chambering used by law enforcement, in semi-automatic pistols and should not be confused with the more powerful .357 Magnum loading for revolvers. The revolver Magnum chambering is what is being described in this quote, not the less powerful .357 SIG;This type of ammunition is arguably one of the more powerful available. R.K. The 46,000 rounds ordered by the NOAA Fisheries Office of Law Enforcement, for use by its 63 officers. Will cover their practice and qualifications with their issue sidearms, do the math, that is about 730 rounds per officer. By way of comparison, our officers (Private Security Contractor) will burn through that in two practice sessions at the range, it's really not a significant amount of ammunition for any agency.
The order of ammunition for DHS, considering it is to supply all agencies under its umbrella (the US Coast Guard is just one of these) and to be used for practice, qualification and carry use for all the agents from those agencies over a multi-year period to be delivered in increments over that same multi-year period is not really as unusual as the "tin hatter alarmists" at infowars would have us believe.
This really is much ado about nothing at all, seriously.
I think you are great and a true patriot K, but don't agree with you on this issue, unfortunately, I think we have much to be concerned about, etc.
Whether you agree with it or not matters little, I am countering the claims you have posted with facts, not wild eyed assertions or unsupported theories. As a further example, the ammunition supply contract for the DHS.
As most are aware, the Department of Homeland Security is an umbrella organization that now contains several Federal agencies that are responsible for various law enforcement and national security duties. Some of these agencies are ( I am listing only agencies that traditionally or by charter field armed agents);
1. U.S. Customs Service, which includes;
a. Border Patrol
b. Customs and Immigration Enforcement
2. Federal Protective Service
3. Transportation Security Administration (the uniformed unarmed "thugs" doing airport screenings are only a small number of their agents)
4. Federal Law Enforcement Training Center (this center will consume the lion's share of the ordered ammunition) This facility trains all the armed officers for the Federal Government as well as Homeland Security related training for State and Local law enforcement agencies, and weapons training for Indian Tribal department LEOs.
5. Energy Security and Assurance Program (This agency does infrastructure protection)
6. U.S. Coast Guard
7. U.S. Secret Service
Now consider this, I can burn through 500 rounds in a weekend of training drills, but I generally for economic reasons, (I am responsible for providing my own ammunition) I tend to limit it to around 200 rounds, which is about average for our officers. We are a small company with about 15 armed officers, if we do the math (200 x 15 = 3000) that is 3000 rounds in a total of 6 hours, two 3 hour sessions over two days.
The U.S. Coast Guard (as of 2010) had just over 48,000 active duty members, their reserve component numbered just over 7,900 that same year, of those personnel roughly 75% will require firearms, training and qualification, usually twice a year for qualifying ( I may be mistaken on frequency, as I am relying on the Marine Corps standard of qualifying every 6 months when I served, it may differ for the USCG). When shooting for score in qualifying (again using Marine Corps figures), each individual fires a total of 180 rounds, this figure does not include practice leading up to the qualification session, nor does it include other "live-fire" exercises conducted over the course of a year related to "skill maintenance training".
So if we do the math on the USCG alone, approximately 41,000 service members, firing 180 rounds each, comes to a total of 7,380,000 rounds of ammunition for one run of qualifying for the Coast Guard itself, it doesn't take much to imagine what the numbers would add up to if we extrapolate it out to the remainder of personnel of the other agencies listed above.
As I have previously stated in regards to this subject of this ammo purchase, "much ado about nothing".
