If you haven’t seen Obama’s newest ad attacking Romney, you should watch it first:

The Obama campaign ad accuses Romney of falsely attacking Obama over his “you didn’t build it comments”. The ad plays Romney quoting Obama, then tells the viewer that’s not what Obama said, but then later on in the ad plays Obama saying exactly what Romney quoted him as saying in the same ad. The video refutes itself! It’s an obvious deception. It just has a ton of other stuff in between that doesn’t make the obvious as apparent.

So here’s the same ad, recut by yours truly, to make the deception more obvious:

If you own a business and there are no roads to travel on to bring your widgets or send your widgets to and from manufacturers and stores, or bring your customers to you, you would not be successful. If you own a business, and it catches fire, you didn't put the fire out, the Fire Dept did. If you own a business, your teacher taught you the math that allows you to add up your receipts. If you own a business, you count on the military to protect it from foreign invasion and on your local police to protect it from criminals. If you own a business you count on the taxes you contribute to provide all those things.

It is true. No one does gets there all alone.. We the people do it together. We the people have created a society and infrastructure that must be replenished and maintained properly in order to allow individual initiative and hard work to flourish. The government IS "We the people". President Obama is saying that "we the people", via our government, must continue to invest in America.

All the roads, bridges, trains, planes and automobiles will not make a business successful if the person who runs the business is not an astute businessman who understands the needs of his target customers and the importance of excellent customer service. I will go miles out of my way to shop at a store like that.

It's almost disappointing that it took the Roanoke speech to make obvious to the entire country the mindset that has been on display in the oval office for the last 3 and a half years, but hey, as long as people come around before November. The "you didn't build that" line is rightfully getting the most attention, but the entire thing is chock full of quotes that show his skewed worldview. Unlike Romney's add, here are some truly taken out of context (in a humorous fashion): http://biasbreakdown.com/2012/07/20/weekly-breakdown-roanoke-revelations/

I guess to Obama the truth hurts, a lot. But the good news is that now the American people know exactly where the president stands on the economy. He seems to think that the only way out of this mess is to spend more, give more, and take more from the American people. And now Obama is miffed because the American people just don't want any part of that. Well boo hoo. If we keep this up, Obama will have to go into the debate in the fall trying to defend socialism. I'd like to see him try that in front of Romney. The American people did not fight the Soviet Union for roughly 50 years just to see it replicated here in the United States. And I think Obama will finally understand that in November.

OMG! Read Whistleblower magazine this month about the Lies of Obama.

Obama and his campaign has NOTHING but lies and division to defend itself with. And the rotten MSM is fully invested in this corruption. Americans who accept these lies deserve to be enslaved... just don't drag down the whole country in your welfare fantasy world.

Did that ad really say that "Romney has a truth problem"?

Are they implying that Obama does not have a truth problem? Talk about a campaign that "will say anything". The only way Obama does not have a truth problem is this. How can you have a problem with something you never deal in, unless it slips out by accident? That's the only way we ever catch glimpses of truth with this guy. Makes one wonder if O's team will send Mitt's team the bill for this "correction", in the same way he's stuck the rest of us with that useless multi-trillion tab...also caused by he.

Other than slip-ups where the truth unwittingly escapes O's mouth, Obama having a truth problem is like a childless person having a parenting problem. Or a legless person having trouble finding comfortable shoes. It's not applicable. Yesterday I was conversing with a lefty who was proclaiming "you didn't build that" was a gaffe. By the time the person was finished, my only response was. "It sounds to me like you just made exact same "gaffe" as he."

It is fun watching him try to squirm out of this straightjacket isn't it? Were Houdini still around they could consult him for some pointers. O' is all chained up and upside down in a drowning pool surrounded by glass trying to escape. Who's standing by with iron mallet ready to break the glass if escape seems futile? Bill Whittle had a similar question yesterday on Afterburner.

Great ad, Scoop. You need to collect a fee from the Romney campaign. I'm sure they will be calling you from now on for advice.

However, you know what the Obama camp will say - "You edited that. That's racist. You can't edit it and expect the 'unwashed masses' to understand the Enlightened One. Just because his words are the same, doesn't mean he said the same thing. That's just typical, radical right wing, fearmongering, racist crap. Did I mention it was racist?"

BTW, I watched this whole speech live and I want to know who that bald walrus is over Romney's left shoulder. Throughout the entire speech, he never smiled, never applauded, never even showed any signs of actual movement, or anything. All he did was just stick his nose in the air and scowl. I suspect an Obama plant here.

Romney has to be careful who he allows to sit in camera view when he's giving speeches. Obama at least knows this technique of planting Obamabots behind him.

The thing about this and the people who put it together is simple.

Unless some outside your circle of friends points out the obvious, everybody in that circle believes that what they've done is superb/brilliant. They all just convince each other their correct.

I get the same problem with my 17 year old. Unless someone outside the house can open her eyes to reality, in her world everything is juuuust fine....and Dad just doesn't have clue in what he's talking about....Lol.

How retarded are they? They play a clip saying Obama didn't say that and in the same clip show Obama saying it. What retards. The problem with these people are that they still think they are "owed" something by society or the rich. The whole "you didin't build that" is wrong because most likely the rich persons tax dollars DID build that road and paid the construction worker and paid the teacher. Those people have already been paid for their job. They aren't doing it out of the kindness of their heart because they think there needs to be a road there. A private company (owned by a successful rich person) was contracted out by the state / local government to build that road or bridge and they were paid with.......TAX DOLLARS!!! So yes not only did the rich person build his/her business but they also paid to have the road that they drive on built. How many non-tax payers still use the same roads free of charge???

Now why would anyone with a working brain pay attention that anything that comes out of the Sotero re-election campaign? Its all recycled Frank Davis agitprop courtesy of the Jarrett-Axlefraud-Obama troika. They are easily refuted. Trouble is Mittens is still palying the palooka in a street fight. Unless he's doing an Ali and playing rope-a-dope till the 12th round. he best be putting down his John Mclame playbook.

Watch for him to come out swinging after the convention. His hands are tied with a lack of primary money right now. Obama has not had to run a primary campaign, so he is able to triple and quadruple spending in swing states.

Once the general election funds are allowed to be used, watch Romney soar. It will be 'no contest' and once the debates start, the entire country will know the truth about O'teleprompter.

It's just a bit deceptive right now.

On BO's recent "you didn't build that comment" a famous Hollyweird personailty said this:

"It's as if President Obama climbed into a tank, put on his helmet, talked about how his foray into Cambodia was seared in his memory, looked at his watch, misspelled "potato" and pardoned Richard Nixon all in the same day....

These defining moments take hold most devastatingly when they confirm what a large portion of the electorate already believes. Taken alone, it seems unfair that a single moment, an unguarded remark or a slip of the tongue can carry such weight. They're often dismissed as "gotcha" moments, but when voters are able to nod and say, "I knew it," these moments stick and do terrible damage. We have witnessed such a moment. "
