Dude, this guy needs no explanation because he does it so well himself. I’ll be honest, I can’t get enough of Christie. I need this guy to be president right freaking now!!!! It’s painful to hear such great words coming from such a great man, and then to think about the dictator we have in office now. UGH!

Scoop, is Obama a nefarious socialist dictator or a bumbling know-nothing who's “all concept and no details”? He can't be both.

  • http://doorwaybuck.com CM Sackett

    Mmmm MMmmmmm… YEAH!!!

  • http://doorwaybuck.com CM Sackett

    Evenin' Danny,

Did you click on the wrong thread for comment, my friend?

The current occupant of 1600 Pennsylvania Ave. is nowhere in this clip…

    Have a grand evening!

When he is right he is right,we desperately need this kind of leadership at the national level.

  • http://twitter.com/ozziecastillo Ozzie Castillo

This guy is AMAZING!!! I'm going to watch this a few times. He puts it all together so well- Is there a tele-prompter there or is he just that good?

  • http://doorwaybuck.com CM Sackett

That's the difference between speaking from a full heart (and wise mind)… and speaking talking points from a tele-pooper (written by someone else).

The one speaks fluidly, from the overflows of his convictions and experience. The other speaks with a calculatingly careful rhythm… until he loses sight of the script.

    The one is COMMUNICATING.

    The other, is shoveling.

Danny, I've never thought Obama is stupid, as some claim. I do think he bumbles alot (not as much as biden though), but I have never thought he was a true idiot (unlearned). I may call him that from time to time, but it's more a term of un-endearmeant – not one indicating his intelligence level.

  • Jojode

He is absolutely fabulous? I have gone on his website just to get a fix of Chris Christie every day. He never disappoints. NJ needs to share, I think we should get him to speak to all legislators so they can learn how to govern and speak to the people with respect. Thanks for posting this.

  • liquidflorian

He bumbles because he's never done anything of substance before. He's by no means unintelligent, he's just never had to lead or “be in charge” of anything, probably ever.

If Obama articulated like Gov. Christie…

If Obama communicated like Christie, from the heart in defense of “maximum individual freedom” and for “limited (… non-collectivist) government,” and if he communicated without taqiyya (… dissembling), yeah, Obama might have a chance in 2012.

But Obama, who sat in neo-marxist Jeremiah Wright's black liberation theology church for 20 years and never heard a sermon (… that he disagreed with), is a “Lenin-wanna-be” proponent of “maximum collectivist government” and “limited individual freedom.”

So, as a marxist oriented socialist, Obama is not flowing with the main stream of constitutional republic America, maximum individual freedom concomitant with limited (… non-collectivist) government… and will most likely NOT be reelected in 2012… God willing.

The blame sits with me on this one. I saw that you had written

“and then to think about the dictator we have in office now. UGH!”

and the post immediately below it stated that

“It’s all down hill for Barak [sic]from there. Chris Mathews exposes, or rather finally admits, that The President is all high concepts and no details.”

But I didn't look at the poster IDs, and the latter comment was, in fact, made by mircat.

I voted for him! You're all welcome! ;) Seriously though he's far exceeded my expectations. Something for nothing is right, something and someone else is gonna pay for it. And during all this my town wants to crank up taxes 11%! Another thousand dollars in property taxes!

Dont believe them when they say they are looking out for the poor or the children, they show every day how much they put their own needs above anything else.

I'm not a citizen of New Jersey (live in Maryland), but when I think about our State's governor and I listen to this governor, he makes me want to move to New Jersey

  • FrankG

Chris Christie is all kinds of awesome. I hope he loses some weight for his own health, cuz this country needs him and others like him to stick around. That was inspiring

  • quellquist

    Christie will never be president.
    He's fat on tv.

  • MrGundeck

Wow! Amagine that speech with a slight cadence change and a few words replaced, on a large stage to a national audience. It would always be remembered as the 'The Day of Reckoning' speech.

  • mainelyright

You have to have a heart to speak from the heart. Chris Christie must have a big heart. That was one heck of great speech. I've never been real fond of NJ nor had a desire to live there…until now. Wow, I just love this guy. And I hope that once he's finished fixing NJ he rolls up his sleeves and helps fix the rest of the country.

  • tractah

Zero couldn't give a speech that inspiring if his regime depended on it (especially ad lib)

    He is both.
He's an incompetent (thankfully) narcissistic socialist.

  • Cocklebur

The Fat Man speaketh the truth!
How much would you guys give to see him in a debate with Obama? Good God, there wouldn't even be a grease spot left of Obumbles.
Another thing, we wouldn't have to put up with the leftist media gushing about his pectorals.

  • eastiles

Governor Christie makes me proud to live in New Jersey. My family, who are in Michigan, often wish he was the Governor of their state. This is a great and fearless man worthy of much admiration.

  • Corvetteman1

Congratulations New Jersey, you elected the real deal. This video should be required viewing for all elected county, city, state and federal officials. Here's some hope and change for you, in my opinion, and very refreshing!

  • Jojode

I applaud you sir for having a great sense of what is good. Thanks for helping him get to the top.

This clip was so good I watched it a third time. Can't get enough.

He's a little bit of both, which is not mutually exclusive. Mostly he's a snobbish, aloof, arrogant, leftist political activist.

  • http://profiles.yahoo.com/u/UUQUE27VGMXHWZQDQKYOBFAIKU Gayle M

He's almost worth moving to New Jersey for!

    This is the TRUE Jerseylicious!

Let's dream a little – Chris Christie for President and Michele Bachmann for VP or the other way around is ok also. Then they can bring all the others in Rubio, West, Palin etc.

  • http://doorwaybuck.com CM Sackett

From what I see of Governor Christie's character AND actions, I could support him as president. However, I firmly believe that LTC ALLEN WEST will make the absolute best:

    1. Uniter of the citizenry, as a whole (regardless of God-given tan levels)

    2. RAPID Restorer of respect and ally-ship… (I think I just created a new word, and like it). Respect AROUND THE GLOBE… and allies with both historic AND new nation-friends.

    3. RAPID Restorer of our military's readiness AND willingness to win (and to know where and when to deploy our sons, daughters, brothers, fathers and friends… and when/where NOT TO).

    4. Supporter of BUSINESS, Businessmen, and ANY American… willing and eager TO WORK.

    5. Cheerleader and Encourager of the restoration of Honor, Integrity, Character and Courage as symbols of MANhood, and of what it is to be… AMERICAN (for with a return of true personal independence comes a return of true personal RESPONSIBILITY… or nothing good shall last).

I can see Mrs. Bachmann, or any number of other current Cajones-carrying servants, out there NOW speaking against the onslaught against the Constitution and our nation serving powerfully as V.P.

    Governor Christie?

CHAIRMAN OF THE FED… or ATTORNEY GENERAL!

    …but, that's just me.

I will say that NONE ~ N O N E ~ of the “power players” of pre-08, who have tucked their tails, stuck their heads so far up whatever orifice they found handy that they think that's how air smells, and KEPT THEIR MOUTH SHUT for the last 18 months… has any “right” to ANY office.

    Gutless piss-ants.

    Sackett

  • Jojode

Ok that's two for West, who else? It's teriffic that we can even talk of having a choice. I agree Sackett anyone pre -08 YOUR OUT! The cowards are silent as they watch our country go down.

  • richard40

Love this guy. Christie is able to articulate his values in simple common sense terms as well as Reagan. And given the way he has proposed real spending cuts, and been willing to take on the entrenched public employee unions to advance them, he can walk the walk as well as talk the talk.
Who would have thought that the most charismatic, principled, and effective conservative in the country today would weigh 300 lbs!! He is definitely near the top of my list for 2012.

  • LibertyMark

Cunning and Bumbling are not mutually exclusive concepts.

  • BobbyRomano

You obviously don't live here or at least don't pay taxes here because all you see are the speeches and not the property tax bills. My taxes are going up $1000 this year because Christie eliminated all state aid to suburban and rural school districts (and gave more to the cities). His biggest “spending cut” is not making a $3 Billion pension payment. State spending is actually up 6% this year outside of aid programs, and the only aid programs cut were the ones where money actually went back to people who pay taxes.

  • BobbyRomano

    What spending cuts?

  • BobbyRomano

When he takes on Binding Arbitration and Prevailing Wage laws then he's taken on the public employee unions. Both sides are play acting for the public. He's pretending he's actually doing something and the unions, whose rigged contract negotiation system remains in place, are playing along by objecting. He hasn't done anything but cut aid to suburban and rural school districts.

  • BobbyRomano

Chris Christie wouldn't be caught within 100 feet of Michelle Bachmann. Ever ask yourself why you didn't see him at CPAC this year even though he was in DC the whole time?

  • BobbyRomano

Like I've said, the people who drool all over him don't live here.

  • BobbyRomano

How much are your property taxes going up this year?

  • BobbyRomano

Really? He supports Cap and Trade, Abortion, Gun Control, Amnesty for Illegals and Obamacare. What will they debate about? Quitting smoking versus overeating?

  • BobbyRomano

You must not live in New Jersey either…

  • BobbyRomano

Ah, another person who doesn't live here. How much are your property taxes going up this year?

  • BobbyRomano

Yeah, you're lucky it's only 11% and that's because he's eliminating all your state aid, (but move to Newark, Camden, Trenton, Jersey City, Paterson or some other rathole — he increased their aid!)

  • BobbyRomano

Good. You and the rest of the out-of-staters so impressed with his empty rhetoric can have him.

  • BobbyRomano

    Who? Obama or Christie?
