I'm suprised MSNBC is shocked that Obama contrived the Life of Julia. Someone on the show mentioned it sounded like Great Britain. Where do they think the Democrats want to take us? Do they not have any sense of perception or vision? Isn't this what Occupy is about? They want Julia's life.
Mika believes that the government should provide all the services that The Life of Julia describes. She just didn't like the way it was presented. She would prefer that the message was given in bits and pieces. The Obama campaign messed up and presented the cradle to grave government that Obama wants, and that may be the fatal blow to this leftist rule. The word is being spread about Obama's overreach, and we will be lucky to be rid of him and his ideology.

The funniest thing I find with this 'Life of Julia' video is that it is a perfect description of the cradle to grave philosophy of entitlements of the Obama administration - and they didn't even realize that they publicly promoted it.

Listen to their underlying assumptions:
1. They acknowledge that the innate American character is the John Wayne image of rugged individualists.
2. These Manhattan media types exist in a bubble of journalism (which is basically shoveling gossip, rumor, 4th rate "analysis" and bad writing). So the Morning Joe people assume that other people can't do anything for themselves
3. The American character is mythologic, silly, and that people shouldn't even aspire to be self-sufficient human beings. (You shouldn't bother trying because it's an impossible standard according to these numbskills who live in the Manhattan/DC corridor)
The ugly truth of progressive-liberalism is this: they don't believe people can do things for themselves because life is too hard for most people. They have little faith in the potential of what other people can do for themselves. They think achieving success is too difficult, and people shouldn't try or do their best. That government should therefore exist to step in and help.

It's funny to me how, over the past few years, the difference between smart and credentialed has become so clear.
Yup, cradle to grave minimum wage, all paid for by you and me. This is pathetic and oh so European. And we can see how well this has been for countries like Greece, Spain, Italy, Portugal, and Ireland, to name a few. This is NOT what Americans want and it would spell the end of the United States if this country embraced this type of thinking under a second Obama administration. No, this must end in November. If not, Greece will be the word to look for in our near future, not Julia.
The worst part is the response by Romney at the end. Romney just doesn't get it. It's scary. The self avowed marxists and socialists did a better job of understanding America's character and trashing this ad as the anti-American garbage that it is than Romney ever could have hoped too. Brace yourselves Romney is Obama 2.0

I'm seeing a nice turn of events and hope it continues. It may be that many Americans are really starting to wake up and have become educated on just how awful this pResident has been and they're now aware of all the lies and propaganda. This may be the best thing to come out of a terrible economy and an arrogant narcissist-in-chief.
In 2008, I was sickened by how well-oiled his propaganda mill was running and how brain-washed many Americans were at this faux diety. Now it seems like everything these clowns (progressives, socialists, Democrats) are throwing out there is backfiring.
I hope this isn't a temporary hiccup in their movement. I hope that all they truly continue to rely on is lies... because we know the record is abysmal and hopefully Americans are finally realizing this too. So, this is a good thing!
Well, this "Life of Julia" was really plan B but after what happened in Florida they were forced to scrap plan A, the comic they had titled, "The Story of My Son, Trayvon." Whoda thunk ?

Obama's team, in a heat of termporary sicerity, has put out this silly Julia thing which shows how wonderful life will be with government assistance from childhood to the grave. It's what they're all about...it's the way they want things to be...it's the government doing for us that which we aren't smart enough to do for ourselves...it's comfort to left leaning idiots who want the government taking care of them...it's pathetic.
