I saw this earlier today but haven’t had a chance to edit the video yet, and thanks to Mediaite I don’t have to. Basically Tina Brown, editor in chief of Newsweek, is defending their portrayal of Michele Bachmann on the cover of Newsweek and Joe Scarborough isn’t buying it. In fact he tells her that point blank that he thinks she did it on purpose to make Bachmann look crazy. Really, it’s so obvious that is what Newsweek was up to by portraying Bachmann this way. And as Brown kept defending it as reflecting the appropriate ‘intensity’, I remember thinking to myself that Tina Brown must think we’re all stupid, and she must be insane!

Despite the fact that Stewart uses this to take a shot at Bachmann, even he’s not buying what Brown is selling and he scolds Newsweek for portraying her that way:
