Romney has a plan, Obama has none. The media gives him a pass by not asking President about his plan. I have not heard one, not even one supposed journalist ask this. Whatever they went to school for, it was not to be a hard-hitting, ask the right questions kind of journalist. Apparently, if you are a lapdog for the Dems, that's qualification enough.
Attention Mr. Scarborough: When you say that Romney hasn't laid out a plan, I wonder how you can be unaware of it. Romney has repeatedly said what his plan is. The five point plan. Obviously, it'll be modified, and congress will come into play, but the man is very clear about what he wants to do. Obama suddenly discovered oil last night? lol. Seriously? President Bankrupt Green Jobs killed Keystone. Does he think the American people are THAT stupid? Mitt knows...you unleash the energy sector in the USA and you get unemployment down while getting oil prices lower, which translates into a stimulus for the economy (in addition to reducing foreign dependency on oil). Mitt understands that small business is the engine of growth. Obama has been hostile to business since day 1. etc.etc. To say he has no plan is simply stunning.
On msnbc, no less. Maybe Scarborough is feeling his long-lost Conservative roots tickling him.
Just between us Right Wing Zealots, Romney is going to frustrate us to no end when he becomes President, but at least he won't tear up the Constitution, take away our guns and send us to re-education camps.
Romney is a committed moderate who has no use for conservatives just like his father. Romney will not reach out to the Tea Party, but instead will court any reasonable Democrats that he can to pass his agenda which is still sketchy.
Whatever half measures he takes will be not enough to solve the problems we face and will end up discrediting Conservatism again, just like Bush I , Bush II and the "conservative" Congress from 2000 - 2006.
Sarah Palin is right not to put her credibility behind Romney. She is one person that cannot be accused of misleading voters.
That said I will vote for Romney with eyes wide open and will be ready to support those that push back at the coming Republican Progressive Policies.
It will probably be time for a Freedom Party.
I don't know, the same type of doubts existed for Reagan after his time in California - how did that one turn out for us?
And I say this because really, the off-script and "secrete" tape stuff indicate far more conservative principles then many of us expected. And if he were to balance the budget (which is his forte), that would mean what could only be considered an extreme reduction in the size of Government while also meaning socialist-based entitlement programs would have been drastically altered in a Conservative manor.
I say we need to have faith, as when all is said and done, he could just as easily end up the most Conservative President ever in actions because of what it will actually take to balance that budget.
I have no illusions about the depth of his conservatism, but I think you underestimate him. That said, I'd rather battle with Romney than be under the heel of Oblabla
It really teed me off when Barry wouldn't acknowledge that some of his pension money is invested in accounts over seas! He turned his back on Romney and slinked back to his high chair.
Of course. Romney has to provide specifics and Obama gets a pass. Bob Beckel keeps slamming Romney for no specifics, and I just want to reach through the screen and strangle him. Where's Obama's specifics? They don't need them from Obama because he's a Democrat.
While post-debate polls show Obama on top to it even in a head-to-head "who won" question (which are often voted on based on "style" or "aggressiveness" more then "substance") MSNBC and all the other news sources can not deny this:
CNN:
On Economy - 58 R, 40 O
On Healthcare - 49 R, 46 O
On Taxes - 51 R, 44 O
On Deficit - 59 R, 36 O
CBS:
On Economy - 65 R, 34 O
Nor can they deny (to themselves in the very least) the multiple focus groups which are showing overwhelming switches to Romney (including one of their very own)
Nor can they deny (again, to at least themselves) that that Obama would need an overwhelming win, with Romney hurting himself horribly, for Obama to actually gain anything - he didnt provide that one bit.
And, as they are correctly (reluctantly) pointing out, he is never going to have a move towards him if he stands for really nothing himself - if the only thing he has is "this guy is ...(fill in slander)..." then he can not ever make up ground what so ever.
I imagine MSNBC is (internally) in the "oh my God, why isnt Obama even trying to win" mode and that is resulting in their pointing out reality to, in my opinion, get Obama to do what they are basically requesting (and the sad thing is, I think it will work - Obama will likely start trying to outline something going forward because of statements such as this)
If the people at MSNBC are picking up on this, then you can imagine what voters are saying throughout the rest of the country. Obama gave the impression last night that the last four years weren't that bad. But even the people in the audience didn't seem to buy that. Worse, Obama didn't say a word about what he would do with another four years in office. So if you liked the last four years, I guess you'll love another four years of the same thing. That doesn't sound like much of a winning argument to me, and Romney really made sure voters understood that.
Of course Obama hasn't laid out a plan - he hasn't got one. Great that some hacks noticed that.
But why don't they ask if an Obama plan would actually work, after the evidence of the past four years, where except for leg-tingling rhetoric everything he touched turned into disaster?
They don't ask that because all they want is more Obama rhetoric, and forget the evidence.
Obama has never had a plan other than to destroy this nation and how do you stand in front of the American people and say that? I remember Rush through the years making the point if liberals were to tell the truth about what they want to do they would always lose.
Just like with Libya Obama thinks f he can con us long enough he may be able to obsfucate what really happened but now he is in a fix and people want answers and the American people also want answers about his second term plan.
The American people are now beginning to see through the maze and they want answers. This is why Romney will win and Obama will lose.
'Just like with Libya Obama thinks if he can con us long enough he may be able to obfuscate what really happened' - s
He certainly believes he only has to obfuscate for 20 more days. That's all, and he can then be 'more flexible'.
How many votes would he get if he actually revealed his plan?
Anyone who wants a hint at his plan can read Obama's own book, Dreams From My Father or watch 2016 Obama's America (out there for streaming now on Amazon, pay per view, etc.)
There's a big reason he's not unveiling his plan!
So Morning Joe is sort of like one of those post debate focus groups. Funny what those undecided voters pay attention to...
And all Crowley did was focus attention on an issue the President really does not want focus on. Her "help" will in the end help Romney, not the candidate she is pulling for.
Thank you for saying this..I mean lets face it all he wants Romney to do is give him something to pick apart..but this is a guy who has no plan , other then to dismantle America as we know it..He talks about America like it wasn't nothing until he got here..Tell that to the men who fought for U.S. to be free, not run by a Government that can't even run the Post Office..His plan to keep using the talking points from four years ago that didn't work ..
Bless me Father for I have sinned. It's been 5 seconds since my last confession:
I must confess to the uncontrollable anger I experience regarding an oft repeated phrase democrats like to trot out with repetition when speaking about any Republican they might be talking about or running against. Ready?
"Romney wants us to go back to the same failed policies that got us into this mess in the first place."
If you knew how many times I've put my head down and run pell-mell right into the TV screen like a battling billy goat, you'd think me nuts. I have a big pile of TV's out back in a specially designed junkyard, and 6 lbs of glass shards in my head.
"Bless you son. Carry on, tis understandable. Amen."
Thank you sir.
He acts as if this country was an ashheep until he showed up..only problem is he has nothing to show for those claims..
...and it was only an "ash-heap" thanks to Nasty PigLousy, the wicked witch of the west. Also Senators Obama, Clinton and Biden who voted for all of it.
Thank you I agree and like your spelling better then mine lol..that is a point everyone fails to make...Nancy Harry Barney and Maxine...had a whole lot to do with it...there are Utubes of Maxine Waters admitting what "this socialist" wants to do to oil and gas and also saying they didnt' want to regulate Fannie and Freddie ...Bush did...Everything fell by the wayside when they took over..and yes the very stuff they blame Bush for they voted for...
LOL! Best post today! Loved it! I'd call you over for a hug, but I've seen your claws! :-)
I'll tell ya something, any reporter that is questioning 0's plan (long or short) has their head so far up 0's rectum it's their own fault they can't see the plan. Are they this stupid or are they S&M freaks? THE PLAN IS, TO, COMPLETE THE FUNDAMENTAL TRANSFORMATION OF A GREAT REPUBLIC INTO A SOCIALIST MUSLIM CONTRoLLED HERD OF COWERING SHEEP THAT WILL BE TAXED TO DEATH WITH NO LIBERTY.
Obama uses thesame old lame talking points with ulgy wife cheering him on.Oh he does have a plan.He was endorsed by Ali baba who said Obama should be re-elected so the United States can be called the United States of ISLAM.This is why he wears a ring stating ''No God but Allah''. I f he revealed his plans he knows his radical azz won't be elected.Wait a minute he will be voted out.
Did you see that Breitbart video showing Lady "Bunker Butt" sharing her clap with the audience?
The picture of the Moron-in-Pink, banging her hands together like the little mechanical monkey with the cymbals (any offense created by this remark is unintended)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7iQ2GM50ud0&feature=fvwrel
has been removed but now there are credible witnesses.
I just went to the first link and it had a Google ad saying Official Obama website sign up now to support the President.LOL Ironic.
GB you got me! I had to re-try the link myself! HAHAHA--LOL! Man, I'm glad to have you back, sitting at your keyboard, 'homs!
0 does have a plan and he stated it clearly during the debate. SPEND. When he was speaking about the wars ending, he stated that the money being 'saved' could then be redirected toward something else (i forget exactly where he said he'd redirect it). But the point is, that "saved" money has not been printed or borrowed yet, therefore he continues to show his penchant for spending money we don't have by redirecting money that does not exist. WE HAVE NO MONEY what are you going to cut you moron.
Good point. All through the wars he has said we didn't have the money. Now, he calls it savings.
I'm Barack Obama, I am,
Barack Obama, I am I am!
I got elected with a pack of lies,
I've been telling them since I got wise.
And every one with a wink and a smile,
It wouldn't be right without a scam
The truth just makes me real ornery.
Barack Obama, I am!
Second term, same as the first.
Sung to the tune of I'm Henry the VIII
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=znv_sUPaKfE
Fun tune to have in head all day eh?
I would change only one word..."wise".
Maybe to "I've got guise"?
Or, "I've got guys"...aaahahahaha.
Salute!
Unfortunately for Obama, the truth is: More of the same. More debt, more regulation, more pain. That's a hard plan to sell.
Of all the things that Obama has done, it's his almost $6 trillion in debt that is the most disturbing. It's disturbing because it's the one thing that can't simply be undone. Think about it, even if we run surpluses of a half trillion dollars a year (an impossible task), it will take 12 years to just get back to where he started. If he's re-elected and racks up another $6 trillion, we're talking about more than many of our lifetimes. Just about everything else can be undone in short order.
I agree and predict that the Libtards will spend the next 4 years moaning about the economy and the debt... Having spend the last 4 years like those 3 monkeys - see/hear/speak no evil. Hypocrites!
One resolution that I am making is to never again allow myself to see/hear/speak no evil. On balance, I still think George Bush was a good president and a very good man. However, I did allow myself to ignore the fact that he grew the size of government and racked up $5 trillion in debt. Even given the fact that it took him twice as long to rack up slightly less debt, it was nonetheless wrong. I could excuse $1 or $2 trillion due to 9/11 and its aftermath, but $5 trillion was simply too much. Using my example from above, that's 10 years to repay.
I pray that Romney wins, but I will absolutely hold his feet to the fire. If he's the man of character that I suspect he is, I don't think he would want anything less.
You're right but you should remember that the spending was going down until Nancy Pelosi sent it through the roof. He should have vetoed the budget and shut down the government but he didn't. He also should have vetoed every piece of legislation that she sent him, but he rubber stamped it instead. I blame Bush for all of that and for letting the neo-cons get to him and turn Afghanistan and Iraq into "nation-building" exercises. Instead of finishing the mission and getting out.
If Obama gets a second term we'll be fighting three new wars. He's already getting it started if you're paying attention. Why three? Because he knows that we are only prepared to fight two, and he wants us to lose.
"The future does not belong to those who offend the prophet of islam" Barack Obama speaking to the UN.
Aren't they the same people who supply all the texts for the teleprompter for NObama to read from? :-)
