Zuckerman says that if Obama really wanted to re-establish his credentials on the economy, he would have met with the leaders of both the House and the Senate to come up with an agreement before giving his speech. But instead, it’s simply going to turn into a political battle between Democrats and Republicans which will do nothing to help the economy.
