Perhaps this ugly public display of ignorance about our precious Jesus is a good thing as it highlights the need for Christians everywhere to make sure they are studying the word so that they can teach others. Christians must not stand idly by and allow society to pass on false doctrine.

I only meant it to be slightly sarcastic. Libs have been insisting for decades that they have the 'right' to shack-up and raise children without the burden of bothering to marry. It's only the Homosexual community, which has always had the 'right to shack-up and raise children, that now seem to feel they need access to the 'word' marriage. And that's what it's all about. This is one of the more ridiculous things I've heard a liberal say and there are many. As you pointed out, my first thought was Joseph and Mary were married before Jesus was born so she was not an unwed mother. Jesus not only had a loving stepfather, he also had the devotion and love of his Heavenly Father.

I wonder why all these socialists/atheists are so fond of using the Bible to support their arguments. Why do they not use the quran to explain that yes, pedophile relationships can be very fulfilling? Something odd there, isn't it.
It is also astonishing that they don't use Mary's Song, the 'Magnificat' - perhaps they are too scared about being deposed, seeing that they are the powerful now? Or perhaps there is far too much praise and glory to Our Creator in that song - that must make them very uncomfortable indeed!

If you're trying to mock or disparage a religion you should probably learn the basics of it first. I'd be impressed if she knows how to spell "Jesus."

These pompous liberals like to pretend like they know the Bible and the life and teachings of Jesus so well to assuage their filthy ideology. I'm glad you pointed out that Mary was wed at the time of Christ's born. I thought every child knew the story of Joseph traveling with his pregnant wife when she experience birth pangs. Throughout Mary's pregnancy, she was wed.
The Immaculate Conception does not refer to Jesus being conceived by God. It is not the same thing as the Virgin Birth.
Furthermore, you can't really "sleep around" with your husband (or any single partner for that matter). I think that's normally called "being married."
Isn't Hillary going to do a public service announcement to Christians everywhere, apologizing to those that this might of offended and put her in jail for a while...???
