Chris Hayes, who has been hired by MSNBC to host a weekend show starting in September, says that if we want to boost demand to needed levels that we need much larger deficits:
“What we need in the short term are much larger deficits than we have. I mean massive deficits in fact, to kind of boost the level of demand that we want to see.”
Wow that’s genius! This guy should really be an advisor to the President with advice like that. I mean, seriously, this is exactly what Obama should recommend to the American people. It will just make 2012 that much easier.
