Thank God we still have patriotic Americans in our public schools, even as Obama and his army of anti-American liberal socialist marxist islamo-nazi fascist henchmen/women, sycophants, useful idiots, thugs, etc, across the nation are destroying this Nation and with his political poison, subversion, backstabbing, and brownshirted nazi iron fisted rule.
Obama isn't going to genocide the American people. He's not even going to take our guns. Heck, he's not even going to take our so-called "assault riffles." The Democrats introduced an "assault riffles" ban, but that ban itself doesn't even have enough votes to pass Senate. The Democrats didn't even propose an all out gun ban.
Naive stupidity is exactly what Obama and his sycophant henchmen and women count on from people.
Great to hear from the teachers, the people in the trenches! The kids today are nothing like they were back in the day. We respected our elders and would beg and plead not to be sent to the "office". Today, they flip them off and walk out.
We need to hear more from the teachers (and not just the ones he uses for window dressing).

You know I was thinking about the "muskets' argument being put forth by liberals today.
The argument goes that because our founders only intended the 2nd Amendment to apply to hunting that only hunting rifles should be legal for US citizens. In other words, because "military-style" weapons weren't intended by the founders to be used by non-military personnel then they shouldn't be allowed to own one.
But where is this stipulation provided in the Constitution? Where is the "hunting clause"?
If we're going to use the founding era as a test for the proper allocation of citizen firearms, then shouldn't we also expect that from the federal government as well?
The US military of the founding era used cannons, muskets, flintlock pistols, swords & sabers as part of its military arsenal.
Because the Constitution does not specify the exact nature of weaponry the US government is allowed to use, and "we the people" should only be limited to a "musket-equivalent", should not the federal government also be limited to the modern equivalent of cannons, muskets, flintlock pistols, swords & sabers as part of its arsenal?
If so, then the government should be limited to only M2 mortars, M777 Howitzers, bolt action rifles, Derringers (single-shot), and a selection of knives and machetes. After all, these are the modern day equivalents to the founding era's weaponry.
All predator drones, missiles, rockets, tanks (diesel engines weren't invented yet) satellite and computer-aided assets should be confiscated and destroyed immediately as the founders could not POSSIBLY have foreseen these as instruments of future warfare in their day.
HOWEVER, if the 2nd Amendment is meant to apply to whatever "weaponized deterrent" gives the citizenry the best advantage to dispel tyranny, in whatever age, then "military-style" weaponry, which includes AR-15's, is a legitimate countermeasure to whatever the federal government has in use today.
If the federal government believes that it is necessary to protect American citizens with more sophisticated weaponry, then so should we as free citizens be given the same latitude in our choice of weapons, otherwise, the federal government is no more in compliance with the founding fathers than we are. Because in colonial times the musket WAS a "military style assault rifle".
But I doubt you'll ever hear the federal government make that argument.

Good for her. I think every household should be required and trained in firearms, just like Switzerland. There wouldn't be as much crime. An armed society is a polite society.
How did this great lady who has been a lifelong member of the NRA. Is a fire-arms instructor, was able to stand vigilant and true against the leftest teachers union? Kudos to her for believing in the Constitution and being firm to her convictions.

There comes a time when the people of the country just can't take it anymore. I salute this woman.
This proves a couple of things. 1) Not ALL teachers are in the bottom 1/3 of their graduating classes. There are some VERY smart teachers and they deserve all the support we can muster. 2) The Bill of Rights is deeply ingrained in our society. It is often said Obama does not understand our way of life, and then the libs all stand up and demand proof. Well the 2nd amendment is part of our founding concepts and documents, and his demand to disarm American citizens shows how far out of it he really is. This speech gives me great encouragement.
She probably escaped that "sensitivity" crap and indoctrination seminars the new teachers are subjected to. Plus, something tells me she's an independent thinker and would not take too kindly of having bureaucrats/administrators telling her how to teach.
There's a good reason it's often said obumo does not understand our way of life, I always say it's because he was not brought up in America. He knows nothing about the American way, her ideals, the principles she was founded on and thereafter taught and lived.
He has never visited Main Street America, he couldn't find it if led by his blood stained hands and wouldn't recognize it if he got there.
