I'm pro-science, too, and I'm anti-abortion at the same time. Science is merely man's means of discovering what God has already created. We, ourselves, are not gods and have never created anything. But we sure like to destroy.
I'm really tired of the same old line about abortion being a good way to stop imperfect babies from tainting our society. No matter which way you spin it, unless there is a medical emergency, all abortions and the excuses for them are merely acts of convenience only. Pro-choice is pro-death. I choose pro-life and I'm pretty sure that my reasoning will stand up just a smidgen better on judgement day than that of the 'convenience' of abortion.
OK, I see her error is obvious, but I don't think it means people need to jump to Nazi equivalences here.
Liberals don't all think abortion is a good thing. The typical polling on abortion shows a solid majority of people don't want abortion made legal "in all circumstances". This means a lot of liberals aren't pro-choice, even though they may not want Roe-v-Wade overturned. That may sound confusing, but everything about liberals is confusing.
A lot of folks in the medical profession "allow" for abortion as a possible choice, but remember that the vast majority of doctors will always try to save the pregnancy, and save the life of the fetus. So her thinking is flawed, yeah. And she stepped in it here. But she's not Joseph Mengele because of it.
We just need to change the "default" thinking of people so that they resist the tendency to treat a fetus as a non-human. The good news is that, as medical science advances, this battle is tipping more in favor of the pro-life side, since more fetuses are being saved at earlier terms in utero.

Maybe that's why they use the term 'pro-choice instead of pro-death'. They want to choose to have either a boy or a girl. If it turns out to be not what you wanted well we have science to correct mistakes.

I know parents who have down syndrome, cerebral palsy and other mentally challenged kids who would NEVER consider murdering these sweet kids. Whenever a jerk like Snyderman suggests advocating murdering babies because of genetic defects, how does she think parents or people with mild cases of DS feel? Since these liberal cannibals have no handguns in which to cut notches for every baby killed and since they probably won't paint dead baby pictures on the door of their Prius' like fighter pilot did in the WW's, maybe women could simply add another piercing to their ears to symbolize the children they've killed.
