Much like several years prior to an American election, where the candidates start to vie for contention and put themselves in a good light with their constituents, the players in the MiddleEast are starting to vie for the title of Caliph.

Unfortunately, to satisfy their constituents, they need to show which one can damage Israel the most. The one that wins that contest will prove to the muslim world that they deserve to be the head of the Caliphate.
My guess is that Erdogan gets the nod down the road.
