Mohammad grew up in Mecca in Arabia, belonging to the Quraysh tribe in charge of idol worship at the Kabah shrine, containing the black stone and at least 360 idols. The word for god or idol in Arabic is "ilah." Allah was the name for the main idol worshiped in Mecca. The name was probably originally derived from the two Arabic words "al" and "ilah", meaning "the god" or "the idol."
Allah was also used as THE PERSONAL NAME among the Arabs for the moon god. Its symbol was the crescent moon found on many idols from pre-Islamic Arabia. Every year there was a pilgrimage to Mecca to worship Allah at the black stone. People were taught to turn towards Mecca several times a day. One month every year, beginning and ending with the crescent moon, was dedicated to fasting.

I look at Egypt as being the power player in the future and the biggest threat to the free world and terror attacks. All delivered by Obama and Hillary....or at very least their support and full acceptance. Syria is next.
Obama is setting this world up for disaster....I believe intentionally....under the guise of "democracy". He's getting the full support of the left...and many on the right....under the premise of freedom.

I was going to say there will be a terrible scandal when we find out that US Troops were killed/wounded by terrorists using US supplied weapons... Then I remembered who in the WH and the fawning media... There probably won't even get a mention. :-(
The Islamists have robbed the achievements of the revolution? Naaa, say it ain't so! This is what happens with all totalitarian uprisings. The bloody French Revolution gave us the Reign of Terror and Napoleon and the Russian Revolution gave us the communits. These were hardly major advances in democracy, yet it shows you that not all revolutions are necessarily good. In fact, in many countries with no background in democracy, such as Cambodia, a revolution is often followed by a worse regime, like Pol Pot. These arabs never had and never will have a background in democracy because the concept is just too foreign to them and democracy certainly is NOT compatible with Sharia Law, which these maniacs seem to want to cling to. So don't get your hopes up in Egypt, even with an angry opposition to the Muslim Brotherhood. The opposition will be crushed like it always is in a totalitarian state and the tyrants in the Muslim Brotherhood will maintain their power. So remind me, why was it a good thing for Obama to get rid of a pro-western dictator like Mubarak who was the sworn enemy of al Qaeda and wanted to maintain the peace treaty with Israel? Why was there a rush to get rid of him? I guess it would be too much to ask for that the people in Washington consider the unintended consequences of getting rid of a dictator before they actually do it.
Sure, go ahead and form a caliphate. It'll make our job easier by giving us one neck to cut, rather than lots of necks to cut. It's certainly easier to drop nuclear bombs on "the Islamic caliphate" (as a whole), than drop them on individual Islamic states, all with different degrees of jihadism.

It won't matter. They will demonstrate and march, but this time instead of being praised by dear leader and the left in the west as a march for "democracy and freedom" there will be crickets. It'll be just like the protests in Iran, the people being murdered in the streets who were trying to call on dear leader and others to help but were ignored. The brotherhood's in charge now. I'm of the opinion, Congress is filled with people who as children paid the school bully off everyday... they didn't learn their lesson in grade school and now are using our money instead of their parent's.
Maybe we could get our Drones to start dropping Aloe Vera Pimple Cream and see if that clears things up! ;-)
