1. Day 13 - October 10, 2012
________________________________________
Day 13
Target: Enterprise/Industry
Jeremiah 29:11
For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the LORD, thoughts of peace and not evil, to give you a future and a hope.
Founding Father Quote:
Oh how I wish the people would awake up from their lethargy and come out soul and body for Christ the more my ideas develop, the more beautiful and grand seems the plan I have laid out to pursue, or rather the one God has destined for me (Let us pray that the Lord will completely guide us in all things, and that we may gladly be led by Him.)
-George Washington Carver: Born a slave in 1864, he became world renowned, addressing presidents and kings. As a scientist at Tuskegee Institute, he discovered 300 uses of the peanut and 100 uses of the sweet potato.
Prayer:
Jesus, You are the Creator of the universe, and all good and perfect gifts come from above. You have formed man in your own image, as a creative being. Forgive us, Lord, for allowing our own foolish greed and selfish ambition to precede our desire for You. Your Word clearly says to seek first the Kingdom of God and its righteousness, and we have sought everything but You. We are a people in search of a purpose, when You have given us a design destiny that we have all but avoided. May we return to seek Your perfect will and purpose for our lives. Today, we call on Your hand to direct us in every future endeavor, that whatever we put our hands to will prosper to the glory of God the Father. Reveal to us the person You would have us to be. We seek Your face, expecting that Your supernatural revelation for our lives is already on the way. You have given us a future and a hope, and we ask now that You begin to birth that hope anew in our hearts. Bless us in our businesses, that the work we do will bring honor and glory only to You. In Jesus name, Amen.
2. If you are one of those chosen children of Christ who knows how important it is to pray, I want to ask you to join my friend Pat O'Malley and I in our prayer conference call which began on Sunday Sept. 2, 2012. Join us by calling 641-715-3200. Then when asked put in the code that will allow you to enter the conference. The code is 1008901# Since we have begun to pray Obama has fallen behind in the polls.
Keep in mind the time zones when you call. The first prayer call will begin at 12 noon Eastern Time. That means in California it will be 9:00am.
Go back to the UC election model over at PJ Media. Looks to me like model that people were pooh-pooing is turning out to be rather factual. I forget who it was at PJ Media or AT who projected a Romney election win by 4.7 to as much as 9% of the voters and between 275 - 285 in the electorial college. Republicans are surging. Dhimis are not. Not like they were in 2008...and even the liberals/progressive types that I know are conceding at the least, the election is now even. I keep telling them...it looks bad for their Messiah...real bad...Jimmy Carter bad.
In the 2010 Ohio house elections the Republicans beat the Dems in votes 2,053,000 to 1,613,000 . That is a 12% win .
This poll makes sense . In the 2010 N.C house elections the Republicans beat the Dems in votes 1,440,000 to 1,203,000 . That is a 9% win .
Wow, this is great news!! Especially great news since they polled Dems at a 10pt advantage. I can see November from my house!
Looking good. Keep up this kind of pressure and Romney will win. I think the momentum will turn into a real surge if Ryan destroys Biden tomorrow night. We'll see.
Thursday debate - Vice Prez. Ryan! - bring you man/woman to be a moderator!
NEWS:
OBAMA ATTENDED WEDDING OF VP DEBATE MODERATOR
I'm in Wisconsin, and I just got a call from a pollster. It was odd that the pollster didn't ask my party affiliation or age...(?) However, I said I was voting "definitely" for Romney and Tommy Thompson for Senator (former Governor).
Ever since the first debate, I've been much more happily enthusiastic about voting for Romney. I was very pleasantly surprised that Romney had a fantastic debate performance. He really sounded like a Conservative! I hope that when he's our new President, that he governs that way as well.
Obama's going to come out with a vengeance for the next debate. I think it's going to get ugly because he's desperate. As long as Romney maintains his composure and doesn't get in the gutter with Obama, I think it will wipe Obama out.
Landslide here we come.
Polls are for dogs and the only one that counts is the one on election day. Don't get complacent because it ain't over till it's over.
Remember this? http://www.deweydefeatstruman.com/?gclid=CO3V9-nl9rICFeeDQgodficApQ
I agree Linky!! Turnout is key....but the Conservatives are jazzed...there is nothing that will stop them from turning out against Obama...nothing....and think Obama's answer to gettin beat in the Debate is Big Bird??? and Romney Lied....give me a break....and that is why he is solidifying indies as well!!
'I received a call over the weekend from a pollster and I’d bet money that I’m one of the Republicans in this poll.' - Scoop
The way these pollsters do business, and seeing that the Dems outnumbered the Reps by 10 percentage points, I wouldn't be surprised to find out you ended up in the Democrat ranks. Par for the polling course.
I dropped North Carolina off my 'toss-up' states over a week ago. I also don't believe Romney needs to take Ohio to win the election (although I believe he will). Florida, Colorado, Iowa, Wisconsin, and Virginia should put him over 270 (overall, I believe he will get over 300 and he will get 334 if the landslide is complete).
Always doing your homework and ours Nuke. Thanks for the post..I got a thrill of excitement just reading it..and not up my leg!
There is one caveat. We should not get complacent. We must stay vigilant. Every one of us should try to convince 10 people who didn't vote last time, and that will ensure the landslide to come.
I was thinking of that new photo of the little girls apparently staring in shocked surprise at Mr. Romney's ...... It reminded me of Obama, standing next to the French Prime Minister and looking at the French teenage girl's .....
What struck me as similar is that both "lookers" has the same sexual interest in the targets.
Woohoo!
That makes me proud.
I still wonder how predominantly leftist Durham and (especially?) Orange counties will go.
I live in NC. Not only is Obama going to be beaten here, but we'll have a Republican Governor to boot. I was driven crazy by all the Obama bumper stickers in 2008. Today, just tacky glue marks, and Romney/Ryan bumper stickers with very few Obama 2012 mixed in. People here are tired of this regime.
I'm in Virginia, Tidewater area, we still consider this a very tight race, although we're happy with the movement in Romney's direction post debate. While I think the polls have been skewed for a long time, we'll begin to see more realistic and honest numbers now as pollsters try to promote the image that they have credibility, after all, it is how they make their money - to be hired to take polls.
In my heart, I would like to think Virginia will return to red, but this state is too tight to be complacent about. It's all hands on deck for GOTV. Still, things look a little brighter.
I'm in MA and the last poll I saw NObama was ahead by double digits. :-( So I don't think I can deliver MA for Romney. ON the other hand, I read that only 13% of MA voters are Republicans so the above isn't a surprise. The only bit of good news I have is that Scott Brown is leading Warren by 4 points in the last poll I saw. So we might be able to at least deliver a moderate Republican instead of a staunch Libtard Socialist.
Very few Romney yard signs in my town or even surrounding towns. I've seen NO NObama yard signs AT ALL! A couple of weeks ago I took an unofficial poll of yard signs while going to the market. I saw something like 26 Brown yard signs and 5 Warren yard signs. Wish that would translate to the whole state and country, but it is what it is.
Come Nov 6th, the only real poll that matters will have the final word on whether we are becoming a nanny socialist state or a Freedom Loving Nation!
Wonderful news. Suffolk polling is not even taking any more polls in NC, VA or FL. They say Romney has those states locked up.
Ohio apparently is still close. My only question is WHY?
Ohio? Unions... If Ohio goes Obama, they will break their winning streak. Look for some hardcore communist Blue states to break for Romney.
Ohio? Unions...
One of the guys that spoke at the Romney rally in Ohio last night was a high-ranking auto union member. (That in itself was a surprise for me.) He said his health insurance premium just took the largest hit they have ever had! Wow! I'm wondering if other union members are also getting health insurance premium notices that will start waking them up to the real costs of ObamaCare. This is the season for health insurance renewals for a lot of folks.
My health insurance premium went up about 9% from last year. One of the 'new' changes under preventive care services for women includes,
"All FDA-approved contraceptive methods, sterilization procedures and counseling."
Sorry for the ramble, but your comment about the Ohio unions reminded me of what I heard at Romney's rally. (I wasn't there, just listened via live stream.)
Words....Mitt is climbing in Ohio all over the place....some of the polls are using Plus 9 Dem sample and Mitt is still tied or winning...he is dominating in Independents and there is no way Dems will have plus 9 in Ohio...NOT A CHANCE!! Lucky is they have plus 2-3 but I doubt that as well...Reps are cleaning clock in Ohio right now requesting Absentee Ballots..same in Florida, Virginia and elsewhere!
Holy Chickens Coming Home to Roost Batman !!!!!!!!
Do NOT get complacent. Turn out is EVERYTHING on Election Day. It's the ONLY poll that matters !!!!!!!
From President to Dog Catcher, make sure you make an informed vote all up and down the ballot.
With all the talk recently about poll fixing and rigging, I don't know whether to trust any poll at this stage. But I do hope this is a sign of a trend towards Romney. If Romney does to NObama in the next debate as he did in the last one, we might be about to witness a landslide on the scale of Reagan's win! I hope so! We need to not only knock the Liberals back, but boot their rear end out the door and make sure they understand that we saw what they were selling and we don't want any of their snakeoil!
Great news! IN is already in the bag for Romney (not even being contested), and NC is looking good, too. That means he just needs at least four other Bush states that went for Obama to flip. If it's only four, they have to include FL, VA, and OH...the first is ever so slightly leaning Romney's way, so it all falls on VA, OH, and at least one among CO, NV, IA, NH...maybe WI, too.
This is encouraging.
I have a Master's degree in Education and Human Performance and part of my job has to do with audience sampling, questionnaires, response analysis, surveys, evaluation reports, etc. I know what a difficult job it is to:
a) Get feedback from participants (you usually get low response rates)
b) Get honest feedback from participants
c) Get enough feedback from participants that it makes the sampling credible
That being said, most polls that I've seen, when you evaluate their methodologies, simply don't cut it. They don't seem to utilize proper procedures to ensure an accurate response. They don't employ solid math, science or precautions to ensure their results are legitimate. However, having multiple polls that show very similar results does help a bit in the credibility dept.
Romney kicked Obama's butt in the first debate... so he deserves a significant bump in his numbers. However, I still question many polls as to their accuracy. I'm not trying to be pessimistic (well not intentionally), just trying to be practical.
I'm pleased with Romney and I'm glad many in this country are waking up to him being a solid, clear choice over Obama. My question is, "What took them so long?"
The main "poll" that matters is the vote coming on November 6th.
I'm with you on my distrust of the polls. They have been way too skewed for way too long. The best way to look at polls, however, is to watch their trends. Even the badly skewed polls are trending toward Romney and any poll that strongly skews toward Obama and still comes up with Romney 1 or 2 points ahead, is an encouraging sign.
ANY poll may have any results you want; just verbalize questions "the proper way"...
Another lie:
How our officials do our property taxes: there is a "multiplier" used with the value of my house to calculate the tax (supposedly).
Recently, the value of my house went down by 50% - but the taxes went up 40%.
The multipler was changed to get desired result.
they all think we are idiots........their jaws will hit the floor on Nov.12; hope the drop will break them.
Mitt will conduct two rallies in Ohio today:
- Mt. Vernon, OH at 11:35 AM (w/Gov. Chris Christie)
- Sidney, OH at 6:45 PM
Both will be live-streamed at live.cnn.com
North Carolina's been in the bag for a while. I think anyone who thought otherwise after that gay marriage ban passed earlier this year had to be a member of the Choom gang.
Holy crap. A Romney has a 9 point lead with D+10 sample? 42D/32R/26I?
No wonder Suffolk Pollster pulled out of Florida, North Carolina and Virginia calling it for Romney already.
Solid lead? I would say VERY SOLID! Go over to Hotair from last night!
Suffolk Pollster told O'Rielly that they have PULLED OUT of Florida, North Carolina and Virginia in polling because they believe MITT WILL WIN all three states!! Yes Allah, who I cannot stand, did post this interesting exchange and interview with the Suffolk Pollster. Suffolk is a well known and highly respected polling firm!!
This is getting very interesting daily!! Mitt is moving the dial and I know here in Florida he was playing to 10s of thousands at all three stops over the weekend!
With reports like these, the corruption of the mainstream media will be stretched to levels never before seen. ABC's moderator for the Vice Presidential debate, Martha Raddatz, was recently married. A prominent guest attending was Obama. ABC's obvious rigging of a democrat insider as moderator for the debate is incomprehensible. When is the American people going to say the constant lies and deceptions from the mainstream media has gone far enough. When ABC openly defrauds the American people in trying to rig a debate, they have crossed the line and should be held accountable.
What is cool though Don...Drugde has this as the HEADLINE on his page....Drudge has more hits on his page then Fox, ABC, CBS, NBC, NY TIMES, WaPo, CNN and MSNBLOONEYC combined!! The Daily Caller broke the story...it is up over at TOWNHALL as well....this is going to put a SPOTLIGHT on Martha that SHE DID NOT EXPECT!! It will make her re-think her strategy I guarantee it....SHE HAS BEEN OUTTED!!!
