This is a great ad but I must admit that I just about feel in the floor laughing at Rick’s entrance toward the end. But his wife does a great job telling their story and I liked the bit about Washington needing some Christian values.

How do you know? I have lived in the deep sourh for over 25 years and can tell you that the sweet southern draw says nothing about a person other than what part of the country they might be from!

Rick looks like a slasher in the black outfit. Brings back memories of OJ and Nicole.

If the director knew Rick would be entering the shot, why would he seat Anita on the ground? There was no way for him to make a graceful entrance. He may as well have done a somersault. It does humanize him a bit, but it's still poor planning.

Maxine, I believe the old saying, "Behind every great man, is a great woman". Merry Christmas.

Merry Christmas to two great Americans. Thank you for all your efforts and accomplishments. How great a POTUS you will make, Rick. It is a pity, so many Americans are so confused. But, we peace warriors fight on. God bless America!

That was quite heartwarming! Nice ad Mr. Perry! I sure hope he stays on a positive note. We can outlaw Mittens and outcast him for his negative ads...but only if everyone else stays positive in their campaigns.

Somehow, I don't think it was taken in the last couple of months. Where's the snow?

It doesn't snow everywhere.

Well, if the nominee is Perry, I'll still vote for him or whoever wins the nomination..

I just ask that we play the NPR election theme when we beat the tar off Obama. (Yeah, I don't like NPR anymore than most people here, but...their theme would really be rubbing salt in Barry's wound...in my opinion)

Here is the link to the theme: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QEUPIt-BeuI

First time I heard it was during the 2006 midterms. It was like they were mocking the Republican loss...

Well, now it will be Obama's turn. XDD

Which means Libs will be going ape-$hit over the sight of her in this promo.

Yeah it's a mystery to me how this guy isn't at the top by a wide margin. His record as governor, service to the country, spotless personal life, and Christian values are cast aside...why? Because he forgot a third agency of gov. that he remembered a min. later. Really? That's it?

His jumping in at the last moment was awkward, but Anita Perry came across very well. She seems like a clear-minded type to me.

It was off, but by golly, it made me laugh. I actually love how goofy it was...

It made it seem realistic! We ALL know we are all JUST as goofy in real life! Our BEST moments are never timed perfectly, and it was refreshing seeing this moment similarly timed!

"I'm sure there wasn't enough time for a Frank Luntz/rasmussen poll to come out for him to have an opinion"

Oh wow- he is a little transparent isn't he?

The candidates do not need to put more gas on the fire. Let the elected leaders deal with it. Back seat driving will make it worse.
