This is a masterful ad from the RNC ripping into Obama’s record with skillful precision, using the words of people in his own party to describe America’s decline under Obama. Just excellent.

That is a good one. I particularly love the comments by the washing machine hair woman. She is constantly describing how bad it is. And she always makes those comments under the assumption that the sitting President has nothing to do with it.

    Best. Ad. Ever.

Fantastic ad…using his own words and those of his “allies” tells the story as it is.

cousins, i just do not know. maybe it is due to the area where i reside, near a liberal college town. other than a local 9-12 group, the people i come into contact with will not support any of gop canidates. is it due media? or as i am beginning to believe, why bother the fix is in(not myself) by those i discuss issues with

I understand what you’re saying cousin, but we’ve still got to try as hard as we can. Even if each of us could find one person to finally see the truth- it would be a step.

i agree. i will continue to try my best to enlighten others. i try not to burden them or anoy. one friend likes to call me “rush” in jest

I can sure relate, but somehow we just have to convince these people that this truly is the election that determines whether or not we will be able to reclaim our freedoms or go the way of totalitarianism.

If nothing else, they ought to be concerned about the over use of Executive Orders to bypass Congress, which was never the intended purpose. And even scarier to hear that he plans to use them even more this year. If he doesn’t need Congress in 2012, why would he inconvenience himself or endanger his plans for his next 4 years. Or 8. Or 20. That’s where we are at today. Truly a dictatorial mindset and it is abundantly clear to anyone who looks at this one issue, much less this brilliant ad from the GOP. My 2 cents only :)

You live “near a liberal college town”. Liberalism is a disease. There’s even been a book written about it:

This is the same book, but scroll down and read the reviews:

I liked best Obama’s comment that if he can’t fix unemployment in his first 2 years he deserves to be a one term President. Well…Mr. Obama you entered at 7.8% unemployment and we are at 8.9% today….you didn’t fix it….

I will keep my dollars….you have keep your change.

From the phony Greek columns, to this very day, Obama has been nothing but an unmitigated disaster. It’s about time the RNC put some of his abject failures on display.

  • Is_Sense_Common

Excellent Ad – keep the focus on Barry, folks. Seems like there might be a faction of the RNC who actually gets it…

i like the ad, but my only problem is that all those liberals are complaining about Obama because they want him to be even more LIBERAL/PROGRESSIVE/SOCIALIST than he already is!

    • cabensg

Yeh! but don’t worry the uninformed don’t know that and that’s most of the people who voted for him. Hell !!! they didn’t even care about his American hating wife, American hating pastor his past affiliation with commie’s. They’ll just think these people are fed up with his performance and fooling them the other way is fine with me. he he he

I still say they need to make a commercial using some of the facts of more people on food stamps than ever- then cut to one of the many, many photos of dear leader and michellantoinette stuffing their faces. Or the mortgage crisis, with shots of all the parties at the White House. People unemployed- then pictures of dear leader on one of his many vacations. Use the “I WILL NOT REST” with shots of his golf games. Shovel ready jobs, then cut to him laughing about no shovel ready jobs being shovel ready. There is SO much to choose from- but this is a start. THe RNC really needs to play of the absolute hypocrisy of the left though.

I could say more, but it’s cold down here, I’m shivering and it’s hard to type with mittens on.

    • Anonymous

The “I will not rest until”, quote would be great material, repeated for every metric that is in worse condition since he made the quote.

There is so much to pick from

and the best part – It’s HIS words

      What a disaster!

I’ll go against the flow here.

The ad is simply RNC boilerplate. It’s the same unimaginative contention that economy and jobs is all anyone thinks of. It’s so one-dimensional, despite the use of liberal voices doing it.

These RNC ads are simply predictable.

How about instead of JUST focusing on the economy, how about throwing in a little of Obama sabotage regarding the oil industry, the disastrous foreign policy, Islamic extremism given a pass by Obama, his horrendous Fort Hood speech complete with groupies, or left wing haters shilling for Obama and the people he hangs with… and his golf games. Just expose how scary the miscreant is.

Nah! The RNC has to come up with better to really make an impression on voters.

  • KenInMontana

That will definitely leave a mark. They need to follow this up with the irony of his previously stated, “adamant” opposition to the Patriot Act contrasted by his signing today of the NDAA. But they probably won’t because of the Republicans that did vote for it. There is a movement here to recall every one of our congressional delegation over this, as all three voted “aye”.

That section about the indefinite detention of U.S. citizens is definitely a cause for great alarm, even under a Republican administration, justice department, and homeland security it is a huge mistake. Obama, Holder and Napolitana have always been trying to turn the war on terror into a civil matter and this is way beyond the realm of kook burger conspiracy nuttery.

      • KenInMontana

Here is a good breakdown on it, particularly section 1022, which is the part everyone is worried about.

And so it begins. According to Reince Priebus, the plan is to use Obama’s words against him — every day from now until election day. The RNC has quite an extensive video library, and they are ever thankful the narcissist-in-Chief loves hearing himself talk, because it has provided plenty of material to cover the next 11 months!

  • http://fishygov.wordpress.com FishyGov

Given the economic quagmire Obama has lead our country into, I don’t think this ad hits his policies hard enough.

RNC Chairman Reince Priebus has recently said that the RNC will use Obama’s own words against him. Sorry that doesn’t go far enough. Use his words and start showing the people the results of Obama’s policies on those hardest hit.

Put a face on those who continue to suffer under his administration and connect those faces to real numbers. Numbers don’t lie unless they are the federal government’s unemployment and consumer Cost of Living Index calculations.

    • cabensg

It’s early, there’s still plenty of time to use his own actions against him. He’s probably provided more negative ammo to use than any other president in history. It’s going to be difficult for even the Republicans to screw this up…but we know they will try.

  • Anonymous

I hope you, the RNC, keep up the attack on Obama’s record, his failed policies, and his socialistic programs.

Good ad, but I’d imagine Obama’s billion dollars is going to buy some pretty good propaganda to push it back on Republicans. I’d bet the Tea Party takes it hard and is squarely blamed for derailing his success in economic recovery.
