Here we go, down to the wire AGAIN and over a stupid political deal that does nothing but hurt America more, signed off on by Republicans.

Dear America, this is what you voted for you schmucks!

In the meantime, for all of you Star Trek fans especially, here are some humorous outtakes from ST-TNG’s season 2 to take your mind off the drama:

Obama wanted US to go over the fiscal cliff, so now the republicans get blamed.

A good way to finish the evening, K-Bob. All the global warming advocates, including Al Gore, fly all over the world in their magnificent airplanes. Fuel burning, gas guzzling wonders of modern engineering.

Of course, they are concerned, as we all are, about using fossil fuels to get around the planet. None of them want us driving gas guzzling cars, but they have no problem with gas guzzling airplanes. The hypocrisy is sickening.

When Nancy Pelosi was House Majority Leader, she absolutely had to have a Boeing 757 to make her weekly trips to San Francisco. Lord knows what that cost the American taxpayer. She couldn't fly commercial.

Actually, Obama and Reid and Pelosi, have actually served a very good purpose. They have shown all of us, what the excesses of too much political power represents. T

The inherent corruption of someone like Harry Reid. The arrogance of someone like Nancy Pelosi, who thinks she is some sort of Queen. The ignoring of The Constitution by all of them. And finally, Obama himself, who considers himself above all of us mere mortals.

His ego is so large, and he is so sick in his own mind, that he does in fact, think of himself as some sort of God-King. You can see it in his actions. You can see it in his words. You can see it in the way he lies, boldly to the cameras.

He believes The Constitution is a flawed instrument, outdated and in need of change. He believes he owns the Supreme Court, and in fact, he actually does. He has made the Supreme Court part of the Executive. Other Presidents have tried, but he nailed it. He put the Supreme Court under lock and key, and he holds the key.

We began this country with people who believed in Freedom, and were willing to die for it. Over two hundred years later, the government our Founders risked their very lives to create, has been taken over by the most corrupt individuals ever to breathe air on this planet. They do not live for Freedom. They live for power. Every single one of them is a millionaire, if not a billionaire.

They do not represent us. They had no intention of representing us, when they went to Washington in the first place. They went to Washington for power and wealth. They have achieved both, and they are not about to give up either.

Then we need to unseat them and take away the power they hold over us. Right?

How exactly are you going to do that, when most of the brain dead Americans living right next to you on any street in America, voted to re-elect this maniac?

You have a plan for doing that, I would sure love to see it. I don't deal in hopes and dreams. I deal in reality. I deal with what is right in front of me. The reality I see right now, is that we have lost this country to a man who wasn't even born here, and to a Congress and a media, who bought the lie. Because that's what it was, from the very beginning. A lie.

This man has no legitimate claim on the office he holds. His very existence, as our President, is a mockery of everything our History and our Government stands for.

He is a Proxy of George Soros and Warren Buffet, and other Uber rich individuals who welcome a New World Order type of government, that will make them even more wealthy than they are already.

But at some point, it isn't about wealth anymore. These people are so wealthy, that wealth no longer has any meaning. The only thing left is power. And that is what these people desire. Power. The power to control how the rest of us live.

Have you noticed the change, from Senator Obama, to President Obama? Take a moment and think about that. The difference between those two people illustrates what I am talking about. The addiction of power. It is a drug as real as anything out there. Better than the best Cocaine. Right now, Obama is drunk with power.

A man who is drunk, is dangerous. Obama is drunk. He is therefore, dangerous.

We are just beginning the second term of a man who has already proven himself to be a madman. I believe the first four years of his Presidency were the learning years.

I believe the next four years will show you the full force of what this man is truly capable of.

At the end of his second term, I don't think you will recognize this country.

Only one year ago (well, two maybe) I would have said, "hey man, come on, he's a leftist and all, but seriously, he can't get that bad."

Now all I can say is, you are absolutely correct.

I still have a hard time believing we actually have to "go there" in terms of worst case scenarios. It's like Stalin never happened.

Elections have consequences.I hope it all falls apart. It will be the bitter pill that we have been avoiding swallowing for far too long.I am only sorry for those of us who have to suffer along with the idiots of this nation.Happy New Year to all the RS posters.God bless you and your loved ones with a healthy and prosperous new year.

Funny Star Trek TNG outtakes. I do not feel sorry for the millions upon millions of seminiferous tubloidial buttnoids who voted for all those who made the "fiscal cliff" possible. Their suffering will be of their own making. I do feel sorry for those of us who have to live through the he|| they and those they voted for have been, are, and will be creating. If it is indeed to be a happy new year, it will be for us who delight in the folly of those who desire to transform this country into a banana republic.

K-Bob

I find myself unaccountably sober this New Year's Eve. Partly due to some work I have to do, partly because I felt like facing the end of the American Moment face-forward and clear-minded. We have a lot of work to do, folks.

I'm just heartened to know we have some sane, determined, and intelligent people on our side of this war; and make no mistake: we are on a war footing. It hasn't come to shooting yet, but the law is being dismantled by the left and totalitarianism is on the rise.

My wishes for 2013:

* That you all work hard on your situational awareness, and stay safe, above all.

* That Mark Levin will stop using the word 'soft' in front of the word 'tyranny,' when referring to this government.

* That more than 10% of all gun owners believe in the Second Amendment, and that it must be enforced at all costs. All costs....there are approximately 50 million gun owners (according to official estimates) in the United States. If only 2% of those gun owners refuse to submit to the Feinstein Database, and the feds attempt confiscation, they will have a massive revolution on their hands

* That all of you with friends or children in the military make sure they know that The Constitution is the Law Of The Land, and that the phrase "shall not be infringed" will be enforced; preferably by them, but certainly by the people.

* That each of us conduct ourselves as though every word we type were being watched (they are), and our every movement were being traced (they are). Not by humans with eyes on any particular one of us, but as a mass of data that can be sifted and combed algorithmically by computers to bring up watch-words and phrases, and attach weight to the usage. The technology is still being worked on, but it's already here.

* That each of us goes forth using the same determination to "watch back." We must watch them, and we must store the data, and publish the data when we see tyrannical moves. We must publish the names of Republicans who aid and abet this tyranny just as much as we must publish the names of those on the Left. Always be prepared to record your interactions with the left. Always take your cameras. Learn to use the camera and record facilities of your smart phone. You are the media.

* If you can spare a few bucks, support those who are in this fight. Certain bloggers come to mind, but also things like PACs that are not part of the Republican party establishment. I guess Sarah PAC is still active. If anyone knows of a useful one, chime in.

* Prepare for a rough, financial new year. I would be thrilled to be wrong about this. History insists otherwise.

* Keep your eye on prosperity at all times. Even while things are going downhill, work hard to make your situation better.

* Remember you aren't alone in your thinking. But you still need to be prepared.

* This is a list of positive things. Things we need to do. We can enjoy life while doing them. So let the new year bring hard work, some fun, and some hint that the 2014 elections will be a bigger landslide than the 2010 elections.

Happy new year to you all!

Usually on New Years, I wait for all the fireworks to get going around midnight and do an 'operational check' on one of my guns in the back yard. Note: I fire it DOWN, into the lawn and the sand below the lawn. Unlike a Muslim, I understand the theory of gravity. I was born at night but it wasn't last night. ;-)

Since I'll be at work, I had to promise the Mrs. I wouldn't fire the .32 into the planter at work. She can be such a spoil sport sometimes.

;-) ;-)

OF COURSE I'm kidding, (about firing the gun at work, anyway) Even though my Mrs. and my boss probably wouldn't put it past me.

AmericanborninCanada
AmericanborninCanada

lol! Yes, I understand the safety involved in testing your operational checks into the ground. Where I live, we can test it into the ground or the air in a couple of directions. Have fun ;-) It'd make me laugh if Mrs. lizzie checked the soil in the pot just in case lol.

That’s sooo funny.

If we turn on our porch light we get "in trouble." We have a dark sky policy here- so annoying.

We're such agitators though that we've been leaving the radio on all night to keep the chipmunks and other varmints away. After replacing the wiring in my husbands truck----, and trying everything else – the only thing that really works is music and lights.

When the city came out to lecture us and warn us of the fine again…. I said- look if you want to replace the wiring I’ll turn off the music- other wise it stays on. (its not loud, and we’re the only ones that can hear it)

Oh good grief. Once upon a time people were able to live in their own house, on their own piece of property and it was considered their own. Sigh... If I lived on the beach out here, I'd have to do the same during turtle nesting season. I love ya you rebel! :-D

'Próspero año y felicidad, Amigos'. A greeting I'll be using may times at work tonight.

Only in the case of where I work, it translates to, 'Let's go pick up a few cases of Corona and get really ripped'. ;-) ;-)

No, that's 'racist', there's a group of young Mexican guys who come in to buy beer, they are honorable, hard working, kids (which is more than I can say for some of the 'White trash' I deal with) and they can really 'tie one on' over a weekend or holiday. It took them a little time to figure out I 'hablo espanol un poquito' (speak a little 'slang' Spanish) and we tease each other unmercifully. :-) :-)

I call them ''mis Amigos los borrachos" (loosely translated, "My drunken friends") and they call me names I can't print here in English or Spanish. ;-)

Moral to this story? If we can't make humorous light of our differences, as a society, we are doomed and that's exactly what the likes of Obama, Sharpton and 'La Raza' (and Hitler) are trying to erase. :-(

Happy New Year folks.

AmericanborninCanada
AmericanborninCanada

Happy Blessed New Year tinlizzieowner! There's a produce barn on the other road and the pickers have a fiesta there every few months we can hear from miles away lol. I'm waiting to hear the beat start up soon. They know how to tie one on in our county as well ;-)

When you get up to the museum, I'll show you some stuff that would REALLY create some fireworks! All disarmed of course, as it must be by law. In the gun case, we have a Soviet rocket propelled grenade (RPG) just like the ones the Muslims are using against our guys in 'the sand box' right now. How we ended up with it, (or how it even got into the country), I don't know.

AmericanborninCanada

Thank you! I'll let you know when I know for sure. In the mean time, I'll ask about your e mail :-)

tinlizzieowner
tinlizzieowner

The Mrs. and I will be running the place on the 13th and the 23rd, however, we will be there on the 6th. Probably sometime around 3 or 4. The museum will be closing early (5:30, normal hours, noon to 6) on the 6th, for a staff party but I'll bet I can 'fix' things so you could stick around. There will be 'living history' there like you wouldn't believe, for the party.

If you are connected with 'orangeone' or wolfie, via e-mail, ask them to give you my e-mail address. ;)

We're hoping to come up next Sunday. Just us, not the group yet. Still working on trying to see who can do what day for the field trip. I am anxious to visit soon. I'll let you know closer to the weekend if we can make it or not! :-)

tinlizzieowner

'Lizzie' is being a little cranky right now, she doesn't want to start. I guess that's to be expected, she will be 86 on the 6th of Feb. I was going to drive her to and from last week and put the Rambler in the garage for some much needed repairs. When I bought her, she had been sitting for 16 years and I got her running, 6 months won't be much of a problem. It's got a lot to do with this krappy 10% ethanol gasoline. For a car that will run on 'Moonshine' and kerosene, you wouldn't think it would be that big a problem but it is. Even a Model T won't run on water. ;-)

poljunkie

I'd like to see more on your cars in the new year tinlizzie.
