This is a nice ad from Newt taking on Mitt’s moderateness. I’ll take this stuff all day long.

Also, Romney speaks French:

    “Trust me. I’m a Conservative”

or as they like to say in Mah’tha’s Vineyard:

    Croyez-moi. Je suis un conservateur.

      Sorry, I don’t speak Japanese.

    • Anonymous

The only thing is when they say “Je suis un Conservateur” that phrase is used most often to design “un Conservateur de Musée”. Now they can say, they are members “d’un Parti Conservateur” without mentioning the party, as a jest.

Well, “Conservateurs de Musée”, they are! Time to bring change to the Museum!

    • Anonymous

      Je suis un conservateur.

You obviously don’t know French… because those words don’t even
      exist in the french language.

And if a Frenchman wants to express the sentiment he can only
say it in English, much the same way we use the words “deja vu”.

And I know… living next door to Quebec.

It was a quick flash with Kerry speaking French/Romney speaking French, they are both notorious flip floppers, but it almost looked like the Massachussetts Politicians have the same Massachussetts Hair Stylist. Am I wrong?

Who is Mitt Romney? Unfortunately for him it is obama who answer this question and define him into defeat.

Sadly, the Americans who are voting for Mittens are using it all up…

    Where has this stuff been

    Although I don’t like negative ads –

It should have started in Iowa

AND it all must be true – not like that “firing people” nonsense

The bad news is – The Republicans look like dopes

I knew they would screw this opportunity up

    Very frustrating

    • Anonymous

You’re right on both counts… repubicans look like dopes and America is screwing this up royally. Romney is who most people are backing? Seriously? We’re doomed if we don’t turn this ship around right now.

    • Anonymous

Spot on analysis. Instead of attacking each other, the non-romney’s should have been running ads like this and positive self-promotion ads about themselves.

They unfortunately listened to the talking heads and savaged each other instead.

    Awriiiiiiiiiiight…

    That’s goooood, Newt.

The truth is what it is.

    Keep it honest
    Keep it straight
    Keep it coherent

Politically speaking, the truth has no agenda… other than to inform about the “independent ???” who did NOT want to return to Reagan/Bush.

You know, that’s what I wish Newt had done from the beginning.

Instead of trying to run a positive campaign, he should have said he was going to run a truthful campaign.

Hopefully, this kind of thing will cause Romney to lose in SC. And hopefully lose overwhelmingly.

This is the kind of ad I like….where it paint Mittens for the weak flipflopper that he is…and why he is the worst choice for Republicans. Attack him for his lies and positions.

    Good Ad….Kudos Team Gingrich!

The funny part is that the current French President is more of a ProBusiness Conservative than Romney. I really like Nicholas Sarkozy…he ticks off the liberals and socialists because he believes in the free market and capitalism.

      Yep…

As “they” say, toongoon, birds of a feather fly together.

It would be nice if there were a “secret society” ideology that would counter the “secret society” ideology of progressive marxists such as Sen. Ted “Dear Commandante Daniel Ortega of Nicaragua letter writer” Kennedy and his ilk, such as the latest iteration of Sen. Kennedy, Sen. Scott Brown.

Of course, there is absolutely no such thing as a “secret society” ideology… but just WHERE did progressivism come from?

Just askin’… ’cause we are still a FREE Republic.

I’ll take a guess that Marx and Stalin had a little bit to do with it. But I don’t think it was so “secret”, they’ve been pushing the ideology for years out in the open, we just chose to ignore it.

They forgot to add that Romney breaths air just like Obama, so that must make him a liberal just like Obama.

Is Romney too moderate or does he like to fire people? Please make up your minds. Have we forgotten that our government is over-bloated with czars and regulators right now? I am praying for a president who likes “to be able to fire people”. Let Newt and Perry shed as many tears as they want over government job losses – as long as they do it from the sidelines.

Sahit Muja: Romney Gains In Polls As Gingrich Join Obama’s Dirty Political Hits
The Rasmussen Reports in Florida, show gains for Mr. Romney. The poll showed Mr. Romney with 41 percent of the vote there, better than he has done in any prior survey of the state.
The poll also showed Mr. Gingrich’s numbers on the decline. Florida GOP Primary: Romney 41%, Gingrich 19%, Santorum 15%.
Texas Congressman Ron Paul and former Utah Governor Jon Hunstman are next with nine percent (9%) and five percent (5%) respectively.

The Gallup national tracking poll also had good results for Mr. Romney, with his moving up to 34 percent of the vote, his highest-ever standing in the national survey.
    Romney 34%, Santorum15%, Gingrich 14%, Paul, 13%

Mitt Romney is now the only candidate that a majority of conservative , moderate Democrats, Independents, liberal Republicans nationwide see as an acceptable GOP nominee for President.
Conservative Republicans and Independents are more likely to say this about Romney than about either Newt Gingrich or Rick Santorum.

Mr. Gingrich is looking for dirty political hits against Romney rather than substantive criticism.
Newt Gingrich seems to be siding with the Occupy movement and President Obama for political advantage.
The “tearing apart” will occur on Newt Gingrich for his salacious personal and professional life.
Lying and cheating on 3 wives, being thrown out as Speaker by his own party.

A $300K fine for lying. Not even to mention Newt’s support for Global Warming and Cape and Trade.
Mr. Gingrich has been seen as an ultimate Washington insider, as exemplified in that $1.6 million he was paid to from Fannie.

America need a leader who will take a hard look at the budget and the economy and make decisions.
Mitt Romney would make a great President for this nation.
Mitt Romney is equipped with a great management background. He has been successful in business and as Governor of Massachusetts .
Mitt Romney’s work with our Winter Olympics is financial legend in contrast to the President’s failure to attract a future Olympiad to Chicago.

Mitt Romney have run private companies where they turned around , and Massachusetts where he balanced 4 budgets.
Mitt Romney will be the best candidate against Obama because he offers a choice.
Mitt Romney favors the private sector, Obama the public sector; Romney favors balanced budgets vs. Obama favors deficit funding.

Mitt Romney favors smaller government vs. Obama larger government.
Mitt Romney works with others who don’t agree with him vs. Obama blaming others.
Mitt Romney is a pragmatist who knows how to get things done; Obama is a ideologue who gives fantastic speeches and has great rhetoric but NO follow through.

President Obama will point his finger at the Republicans and put all the blame on them.
President Obama will try in 2012 election to weasel out of his responsibility as President of the United States
President Obama reminds me a former partner of mine. My partner was hyper-articulate, strong as steel in a meeting, but it was all an act.

The U.S. Government ran the deficit way out of control $15.23 trillion dollars.
And now Obama and Newt Gingrich are taking down people who invest, whom they consider evil “millionaires and billionaires.”

How much damage can Obama administration do though over-regulation, environmental wackoism, failure to allow production of more domestic energy, constant talk of higher taxes, incessant business bashing, ridiculous growth of government, and failure to understand capitalism and the free market?

President Obama and Newt Gingrich is utterly bankrupt in terms of political capital.
As much as President Obama and Newt Gingrich might want to revise history on record, the American people will see through the rhetoric.
This president is finished, President Obama has nothing to show for his 3 years except for economic devastation, $15.23 trillion in debt, over 50 million Americans on food stamps and 15 million unemployed Americans .

The Slovenians are right; people do get dumber as you move south through the Balkan Penninsula ( you just proved it). Romney has as much of a chance of being elected as Milton Berle; and he’s dead. The establishment is backing Romney, Paul playing the spoiler, Conservatives again left out in the wilderness equates to a big drubbing of Romney in November.

What was it from the Bible? Please .. better Christians on this board help me! John the Baptist wore camel skin and existed on wild bee honey?? He was out preaching in the wilderness. That’s how I feel now. Hope I don’t end up with my head on a pike.

Just be certain your faith is in Christ, like John’s was. This life only lasts a short while. The promise of sins forgiven and a life in Heaven for eternity makes the bad days here not so bad. I suspect we’ll be celebrating for the first hundred years or so.

Would love to see an ad with a moderator and all of the different Romneys debating each other.

Conservative Mitt: You’re a progressive Mitt.

Progressive Mitt: I’m an Independent and I don’t like you Reagan Republicans and your policies.

Independent Mitt: Stop lying progressive Mitt you stopped being an Independent when you ran for Governor of MA.

Progressive Mitt: Conservative Mitt tell Independent Mitt to stop attacking me.

Conservative Mitt: I can’t tell Independent Mitt what to do, he makes up his own mind and changes it hours later.

Nice ad on Romney, but my question is, where are the Ron Paul ads. He needs to start taking some serious arrows, or Romney is going to coast right into the nomination and those of us who are sane and rational will only be left with a choice to hold our nose again and vote for the squishy moderate. Right now Paul is running blocker for Romney by taking out the conservatives. I wouldn’t be surprised if Paul has somehow been promised something on the back end to take out Romney’s competition for him (I’m not saying he did, but if somehow he ends up with a position I’m just saying I wouldn’t be surprised). The strategy should have been to take out, or minimalize, the liberal Republicans (Romney and Huntsman) and FORCE the convention to nominate which ever conservative was left standing, but thanks to Paul, they’re just going to nominate the moderate, becasue they’ll never give the nod to Dr Demento.

Woahhh! Best one so far from Newt. I never realised Romney was such a snake in the grass. I particularly like the part about his record on abortion. In fact, the worst thing is his record on abortion!

I know people always say ‘we cant afford to go down the social route during this election blah blah blah; or ‘This election is too importnant to lose because we come across as too socially conservative…’ but the sad thing is we say this every election season. If we can’t afford to go down the social route this time, when can we ever go down the social route?! We conservatives are always cow-towing to the liberal left’s accusations. If only we were brave enough to put our case to the people in a bold, fluent and coherent manner, the possibility for real change would be overwhelming. Chances are it’ll be said next election that we can’t afford to go down the social route. Point is, we are always putting off real change; always putting off helping those that need us the most; always putting off our most fundamental principles because of the false premise imposed on us by the corrupt media that we are alone and nobody will ever be converted to our cause.

And so we talk about jobs jobs jobs instead and try to win the masses on this basis, when we know it is not government’s duty to create jobs but simply to get out of the way so the people can! But even were we to go on this premise of jobs jobs jobs, we find that we are haunted here again by our failures in the realm of policy we are trying to escape from, protecting the right to life! What do I mean? Just think of all the great inventions we have killed off by destroying the human beings that would have invented them; all the businesses and commercial ideas that have never happened because we killed their creators IN THE WOMB; and inevitably all the “jobs” and taxes government and the people would have reaped the benefit of if these children had not been killed in their mother’s bellies. My point? Crying Jobs Jobs Jobs whilst killing the entrepneurs that create them before they are born is like an alchoholic crying for sobrierity in between a bottle of whisky and vodka. Pitiful.

So, I implore Mr Gingrich to drive on with these adverts. I wish Santorum would bring some of his own out as well. I imagine Newt has more money to spend than him though. But this could change if Newt and Perry would just drop out and back Santy. I pray this happens soon.

Last thing I just want to write: the likes of Huntsman and Romney represent a disease in the Republican and so-called ‘conservative’ parties of western nations today. If we face facts, John F Kennedy, Llyndon Johnson and many other Democrats of ages gone by were more conservative than Mitt Romney. And this is something that has been a feature of a most deliberate attempt by “progressives”to shift the right to the left and the left to the extreme left over time. What am I saying? Too many Mitt Romneys and Huntsmen in the Republican party today have made it aslmost meaningless to class oneself as a Republican if you’re a truly conservative-minded American; and if you’re a democrat in 2012, you might as well be a fully-fledged Stalinist. If the people of South Carolina and the rest of America truly want a radical turn from Obama and his treasonous politics, Mitt Romney is not the man. Like Levin said, the man’s principles seem negotiable. In short, he has none!

When will these candidates wake the hell up and stop criticizing each other? They are ruining the image of the republican party and will give US another 4 years of Obama misery.

They have to stop criticizing each other and concentrate on Obamas failures…..how do we get this through to their thick heads?
